For some sadistic reason this doctor chose to inject my wife on the end and side of her toe where it was grossly inflamed causing the most intense pain I've ever seen her go through. With zero regard for pain and recovery he ripped the gel coat off of my wife's nail tearing it down halfway on her toe! I felt like yelling "what the hell is the matter with you are you a masochist"? When I told the doctor when I had my procedure done my doctor injected "the base" of my big toe before he did anything up towards the damaged area. He looked at me rolling his eyes and said "this is the way I like to do things". I thought WTF are you talking about. Don't you quacks take the Hippocratic oath to do no harm?! You go 11 years in school to inflict unnecessary pain on my wife because I question your methods? Methods that make no logical sense even if you have a leuk warm IQ?! Next time you want to declare war on my wife's foot spare me the $400 dollars because I'd rather spend $800 for a doctor that knows what they're doing. I scheduled an appointment for my grandmother's foot care and was made to wait two weeks, only for them to cancel at the last minute because the doctor was "unavailable." A week later, they called again not to fix their mistake, but to cancel completely and say there were no appointments available at all. This is grossly unprofessional and unacceptable, especially when dealing with elderly patients who need timely care. Because of their incompetence, I am now forced to find another provider while my grandmother's condition continues to worsen. This office has made it very clear that they do not value patients' time, health, or well-being particularly the elderly.

Dr Wilvang was very sweet and professional explaining causes and solutions to all of my foot concerns. They are located inside the Cerritos Medical Center, on the corner of Clarkdale Ave and Artesia Blvd. The major cross streets are Artesia Blvd and Pioneer Blvd, South of the 91 Freeway. Dr. Gina Wilvang was the one that treated me and she gave me a good overview of what I was going through. I had Plantar Fascitis which is an inflammation of the tissue that extends from the heel to the toes. Nothing that can't be treated as long as I wear the proper shoes, complete streching exercises, and massage the foot while also using ice to reduce the inflammation. My visit didn't last long at all and the wait time to see the doctor was minimal. Dr. Wilvang was courteous, friendly, and informative. I rated 3 stars because the visit was nothing out of the ordinary. If I continue to receive good treatment options and great service in the following visits, I'll adjust the rating accordingly. There are 2 other podiatrists that reside there. Dr. Shawn Todd Van Enoo and another female Korean podiatrist that I didn't catch the name of. Also, when completing the preliminary paperwork, I noticed that there's a $25 appt cancellation fee, if you don't make the visit or let them know within a certain period of time. Usually, people think this is ridiculous but I've seen this fee go as high as $75 or $100 at other medical practices so it's good to read before you sign.
