I call them to see if they had time to look at my truck that day, they said yes and get it over to them. I told them that the truck wouldn't start and how could I get it there to them. That told me what wrecker service to call (Gulf Shores Service Center who just as great) to help me out. Once my truck was there they told they would let me know if it was my starter or battery. I went back to my vacation home at the Dunes and waited. To my surprise they called me at 12:45pm and told me my truck was ready after just getting there about 11 am. Here's the best part, It was the battery and it was still under warranty unbeknownst to me. They could have easily just put in a new battery without telling and charging full price! They are only charged me $30 dollars! Are you kidding me!! They are the most honest and dependable mechanics I have ever met! I was told by the nice gentleman over the phone, whom we dealt with 2 weeks prior with my daughter's suv, and the complete auto inspection was $10. Doug told us the price was still the same, and he could get us scheduled for Wednesday or Friday Of this week..(10/14, 10/16). Needless to say I had work and couldn't schedule for either day. I decided yesterday, Saturday to schedule on line for today, Sunday 10/18/2026 and went in. The Employee by the name of Jordan is full of bribes. He also has 2 other male employees that do consider the customer. Jordan had me go outside and take a pic of license plate, mileage, and the VIN number as he stated he didn't have adequate help. ( I Didn't realize it was my problem). I should have left then, at that moment. However, he got the car inspected, and came out to lobby area where another customer and my daughter and I were, and started blurting out words, I had no idea he was talking to us, since he didn't call my name , so I kept doing what I was doing, and then he looks and tells us he is talking to us About the vehicle. He sat down in the lobby chair and prop his feet on the end table.... And told us he Had good news, and that it could be the pressure in the..... and water was found in the coolant jug, as we stated we never put water in it... he proceeded to say he was running the trial and if it failed then there would be further issues dealing with parts, and he'll give me estimates, as he would want someone to treat his wife well and that's why he is treating us well. I'm not certain if he is married or not, I didn't see a ring. In other words, was this a made up scenario to pull us in... I trust no man! So, of course it"failed" per Jordan. As we sat there and listened to him with his quotes on the car needing a water pump, 2014...... $875, he would pause and talk to others as if we weren't engaging in an important conversation. He then says he can go down to $725. He said the charge will be $49 for inspection after I told him I have a private mechanic, as he is not close to my home and I prefer to come here, just in case its a small fix..I can pay and save on gas! I will be going to my mechanic, he then said, I'll match his price as long as it's not $300, I can't do that! My problem came along with why is the inspection not $10(9.99) as I was informed. He states it was a summer promo and not for fluids inspections. I said, the guy Doug told us 3-4 days ago it was still $10. He said well he's gone, after that stated he will make certain the staff be spoken to about giving false Information. Now, that was his opportunity to make things right, instead he decides to take half off, those 2 guys I mentioned earlier were telling him what to do to take total down to $10( 9.99), he hushed them and sent them out, and they still tried, he then decides to deliberately sent one guy home and paused again and held a conversation with him, after sending the other guy back out. At this point he is the only one up front, so I had enough and told him whatever he is saying it is, I'll pay bc it was enough time already wasted. 2 hours. I had my baby with me as well! So he collected the $24.99, as he informed me to come back and see him on the weekend and he will look out for me, my mind was made up after he mentioNed Doug Quit after the technicians got fired last week, and Doug has enough money to never work again as he went to work with his buddy to help out. That was none of my business, Doug showed professional and good customer service, he didn't get over on 2 women. This guy has no heart for customers he fast talks, and he answers the phone and talks for a long time to a customer and then , says he forgot how long winded the guy was. Where are Ethics in this. Anyhow, I'm going to reach out to corporate in the morning and demand a refund! I wasted almost 2 hours for an inspection, and after getting paperwork, it shows he charged me for full auto inspection PLUS!! But in parenthesis it says ( customer scheduled and requested full auto inspection basic) which is what I got when I took my daughter's SUV 2 weeks ago! I will never go back! JorDan doesn't realize he took from God's daughters, we serve and follow Jesus daily, hence the reason I was obedient and paid and left. He tried small talk with my child and I, my daughter responded well... because I tapped out long ago before we paid. They over tightened the lug nuts so bad that they broke 3 of my lug nuts off trying to get the wheels back off the truck. Then told me they couldn't fix it and I had to come pick it up and take it somewhere else and they weren't going to cover any of the cost for the repairs. Lug nuts were so over tightened the next mechanic had to drill out the studs after breaking 3 more lug nuts trying to get the wheels off. A total of 6 broken lug nuts and $1000 out of pocket repair because the kids in the back are totally incompetent.

I've had to use the services of Goodyear Auto Service in Foley, AL twice so far over the years. I…read morehad one of my tires somehow run over something in a gravel parking lot that made it immediately deflate. So after getting my spare tire on and arriving to Goodyear they found sidewall damage that couldn't be repaired and quickly got me a new tire installed and it came with a warranty. A few years later that same tire started to very slowly deflate on me over the course of several weeks. The deflation finally started getting faster so I decided to take it in after I couldn't find anything wrong with the tire and then people doing my oil change couldn't find anything either. So the Goodyear folks finally found a screw stuck into the sidewall of the tire facing towards the inside of the vehicle. Well apparently the tire warranty only lasted a short time as it had already expired which is a bit different than other tire warranties I've had. They also didn't have my tire in stock so they replaced it with what they did have in stock. What I found unusual is they didn't just replace my tire with the full size spare that is the same type of tire and then just put in their different type of tire in my spare tire space. Overall they got everything done faster than most places these days.
