The bed is very comfortable and has beautiful embroidered accessories. The remote controls for the TV and AC were presented wrapped in plastic. I took a star off because the hotel had closed the elevators. I felt bad for bell boys who had to take our luggage upstairs and for the elderly folks who were on our tour. Our tour manager spoke with management about allowing our group to use the elevators but they wouldn't budge.

Going to a small town you've never really been to and find a Hotel is quite scary…read more We booked here as it was a suggestion from a friend, the place is nice, rooms are well kept, but the whole "Old Town" Atmosphere could get a small push with a bit more modern installations. Old school keys and a CRT-TV, no hair dryer, and no steam iron? It seriously could be better. The restaurant is pretty much in the middle of the hotel, food is good, and the prices too. A nice big swimming pool is also good, specially with over 32º in the middle of March! A really big positive thing of this hotel is the Amazing view of the Cholula Pyramid! It just couldn't be better. And on the next block there are a couple of bars, an irish pub and some Restaurants. For Mexico it's a bit expensive at about 90 USD per room for what you get here, but all in all, it's worth it. Credit card acceptance is pretty much standard in Mexico, no surprises here.

I was here for business and i have to say this shouldn't be call Hotel, it should be a Hostel (the backpacker kind). Rooms are horrible, dark, old, it smell like old and humid; no AC and yes you need it. Food and service at the restaurant is NOT good. No plugs to use a computer or charge your phone; shower is scary and NO water pressure; light fixtures that don't work; bed very uncomfortable; do you want me to go on? The only thing positive was the girl at the front desk was very nice and tried to help. I wouldn't suggest this place NEVER, EVER.

We were provided two special cookies. We had a balcony suite which overlooked the town square. Our hotel room was large with two balconies and a frig. A large bottle of water and a complementary sugar skull. The bathroom had soap at the sink and shower as well as the typical shampoo, conditioner and shower gel bottles. They smelled so nice. The bathroom sink featured both soap and lotion. Besides the refrigerator there was a nespresso machine which provided the perfect wake up. The hotel maid provided extra as requested. So we were able to drink an expresso any time!! There were filter water stations in the hotel and they provided water bottles if you requested. We had a perfect view of the square which provided an amazing view of the hour and half long parade which was also amazing! We at the roof top restaurant two nights in a row mainly because we ate late but this place "Hook Black" was amazing! Service and atmosphere was perfect even with mariachi singers that sang our requested songs! We had an amazing time and had a late check out without a problem and amazing room service. look forward to coming back!

If it's cold outside but you feel like swimming for few minutes, the hotel has a warmed pool. We had a 3 day conference with my company in this hotel and believe me: except for the work part, this was almost like a little vacation.

Two restaurants on site that are pretty good, if you do not want to or have time to go out into Puebla. I usually do not eat a restaurants in hotels unless the restaurant is known for good food not just being convenient. Now... this is the one thing you have to do. Make sure your room is not near the elevators. It isn't the sound of the people that will keep you up. It is the mechanical sounds coming from the elevator. I learned from this experience. Hotel is nice but restaurant is way overpriced and brutal! Had a burrito from the room service…read moremenu that cost 200 pesos. It wouldn't have satisfied the hunger of a 3 year old. It taste ok but was literally the size of a bratwurst sausage. Maybe 5 inches long and as thick as roll of quarters! I get burritos a few blocks away for 40 pesos that are 5 times bigger than this one! I've also had the lasagne which is Meh! Barely passes for lasagne. The rib eye was probably the worst steak I've ever had which should've been the first sign that this restaurant isn't worth my time but as I've been living here, I had no other choice late in the evening. The breakfast isn't half bad but if you have the choice to eat here or go somewhere else.... Go somewhere else! The hotel would get 4 stars if it wasn't for the restaurant. It's letting the place down bad! The shop by the front desk is grossly overpriced too! Go over the street to 7/11 if you need drinks or snacks!
