This was an awful experience. I went off of an old recommendation on a neighborhood facebook group,…read moreand I looked her up. Her website was pristine. I reached out to her, and she made all the right promises - she's an expert (specifically with respect to paint), she has more than 15 years of design experience, she talked about other projects she had done. I thought I had done my due diligence, so I signed a contract with her and spent $1000 for design services. To say the least, she was not an expert, and she did not handle herself professionally or even appropriately. She was distracted and brought nothing but chaos to my house... and she claims to be a life coach of some kind? She came to a paint consultation with an iphone and a magazine, no samples or swatches. No discussion of what I have versus what I want to keep and acquire, undertones, light, windows, etc. Nothing. When she left, nothing had gotten done, but she said she "knew" what I wanted. For the second paint consultation, we were supposed to be putting paint on the wall. Instead of bringing liquid paint samples, she pulls two paper samples out of her purse that looked like she had grabbed them out of a drawer. I never saw trim or ceiling paint. When I asked her if she had a chart with paint finishes (because she didn't even know the different paint finishes or the proper recommendation for old walls), she yelled at me that she's not being paid to run around town. So she refused to do anything else that day because she had so much to do in addition to dealing with me, and that she was going to be suddenly unavailable for the next two days. At this point, painters had been at my house for 3 days, house in shambles and we still hadn't picked paint colors. And she was ribbing at me for being anxious. I have messages to her telling her I wanted something calming on the walls. I ended up with a griege that turns pink and orange after 3pm. After, I told her I just needed space from her, she shows up at my house uninvited, she wanted to just fix it, we gotta fix it, I have to be happy. "No, *I* have to fix it; you need to go." Just awful. The whole experience was bizarre, chaotic, and definitely what not would someone would expect from a business called "Simplify with Di." Do not recommend.

The staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable of the stuff they sell. They have a great selection of furniture on display and they do carry a whole bunch of brands in the mid to upscale range. Staff is also very laid back and we did not feel rushed or pushed around at all! Their prices are the best we have seen and sure saved us a trip to High Point NC! Definitely will go back again :)
