Was eating a pot sticker , when felt a weird texture. A large piece of plastic shoved inside it. Absolutely gross!

Was eating a potsticker , from Gilbert's Kitchen. And found a large piece of plastic inside it. Absolutely gross!!! Not to mention the guy who attended me was a bit rude, and threw my receipt on the counter when I had my hand out to receive it.

    Beef chop suey, so good!

This place has some of the BEST Chinese food around. Never disappointed. The food always has great flavor. The egg rolls are giant sized and also very good. I ordered a small beef chop suey and a small egg drop soup and also a large moo shu chicken. Everything was outstanding.

This spot is not much for ambience inside or outside but on the day of my visit they had brisk takeout and the dining room was packed...real quick. I'm sure a lot of folks go here for the Chinese menu items but I was there for the Lao goodies! They did not disappoint! We had the fried meat balls; a mixed app plate with chicken wings, Lao sausage, and beef jerky; lap beef; and a healthy serving of sticky rice (ok maybe we had 2 to sop up the lap beef). Flavors were on point. Medium spice had us excited and rolling at the same time as it got spicier throughout the meal for the lap...but it was so good! I can't wait to go back and try more! Service was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy since they have their own lot.

Then my food is brought out but before I can leave I'm told that they made a mistake on line with pricing and I owe them $0.75 more which I did not care and gave them $.08 but I wonder if they owed me the $.75 if they would be so willing to give it back to me. Then the owner comes out and starts taking my food out. If you place an order $50 or more you get an appetizer for free. our previous visit they forgot it and we were told the next time when we place an order to remind them and they will give us one. So since this order was over $50, I got one appetizer for free plus the appetizer that they forgot about last time. The owner comes out and starts digging out the additional appetizer. You only get one you only get one. Which I nicely explained to her that they owed us two. Very unpleasant woman. But the disappointment comes when I get home and opened all of the containers. Mongolian beef was horrible. It's called Mongolian beef because it's supposed to have beef . The dish is 90% onion couple noodles throw in and a little bit of beef ....just horrible. Same thing with other two meals where you had majority of vegetables and no meats or shrimp. Very disappointed with the order. They are becoming hidden and miss restaurant. You never know if you're gonna get a good order or a crappy order like we got today.

Cluttered with boxes of supplies and junk. The food is really cheap at least. A restaurant that is bare bones. It's one of those strip mall Chinese restaurants that is similar to all the others. This one makes the others look fantastic though. Had a part of the dining area closed off. There were only a few available tables. It's about $8 for an entree. The one here for vegetarians is the Tofu Vegetables. Sounds generic. This has mushrooms and pea pods. A lot more to get if wanting something more authentic. There's pad Thai as well as many others. For sure it actually is one of the best Asian restaurants around here. It's located in the plaza with the post office. They're closed Tuesdays.

It's in the small details when they overstuffed our seafood fried rice container ($11), accommodated that I wanted it without soy sauce (I've been on a fried rice kick sans soy sauce lately - it's less sodium and I feel like I could taste ingredients better). I really enjoyed the seafood fried rice. It had calamari, imitation crab meat, shrimp, and onions. It was a perfect blend without too much salt or oil, and to top it of-- the rice was soft. I really dislike it when Asian restaurants make hard rice, or let the rice it too long because you can always tell when the rice is getting stale. My hubby was craving Garlic chicken ( small size for $8). We were quite hungry so we had already began eating before I realized I didn't take pictures of the rest of the food. By the time I took a photo the garlic chicken has already been half eaten. I liked that it had a little zing to it with chili peppers flakes, and has a little sweetness to it which goes perfectly on top of white rice. My favorite part of this dish is that the chicken was moist and soft. I can't enjoy a dish when the chicken is overcooked as that makes the chicken really dry. They had the perfect big, fat eggrolls - two for $5.25. The homemade apricot sauce was on point -- 10 out of 10. Not too many place have great homemade eggroll sauce offered with eggrolls. And we're not talking about the sweet-and-sour sauce packets. Those are not the same thing! For us Chinese and Asians it's all about the sauce and my husband is super picky about it. That's how you tell it's legit eggrolls. He approves of this sauce. We only wish that they gave us two servings of it versus one because I quickly ate 2/3 of the small sauce container for my eggroll and he wasn't too happy. Lastly, we had the hot and sour soup (large size $6). The ingredient were fine, but I have to say it was too salty and missed a mark on the sour. Finding the right balance makes the sauce for me. I judge a lot of places by their soups. This one was close but I have to take off a star for that. Overall, this was a satisfying meal and it didn't break the bank. We will be back to try more dishes. I saw that on their menu, they have seafood boil, and I'll be interested in checking that out in the future. I also need to remember to take more pictures of food before my hunger sets in.
