This is the rock where the Indians would meet for meetings. The place is very nice and people were sitting around on blankets in the grass enjoying the day. I dont know about parking because we were parked on the main road from our visit to the HOF. Pretty cool thing to see and place to hang out.

A small, laidback little beach for catching a swim in Lake Otsego. There are lifeguards on duty. One side is for swimming- it is roped off- not too large but enough-and it has depth enough for diving off of dock. The other side is for fishing. There are some picnic tables, benches, and a few Adirondack chairs on the swim side. Bring a blanket or folding chairs for your hang. So pretty and peaceful. There is a pavilion on the fishing side with several picnic tables. There is a changing cabana with multiple stalls right off the beach. And, there are restrooms right above beach. Parking lot is not vast- maybe fits around 20 cars. But, that's about as busy as it gets. If it's a hot day and you're up for a dip or just enjoy the beauty of the gorgeous lake and you're visiting Cooperstown area, check it out.

Anyway my mom moved to the area and I finally brought my son up to see her new house and explore the area which isn't much stuff for him. Seriously has nothing for kids reopened in the area? Anyway I somehow stumbled upon this place by googling like crazy. I hurried to book private play then our plans changed so I was sad we might not get to go but another spot opened up the day before so yeah we got to come here. It's an awesome kids place. By me we have a million of these I have no idea how parents survive up here with no indoor play places lol. It's even colder up here too! What do people do on school breaks with kids? Or do in the winter on weekends? My son had a blast for 2 hours, whole place to himself. Even we had fun as they had basketball games, air hockey and the roll a ball thing I hadn't seen since I was a kid myself. They also had a sensory room he was memorized with. I looked on yelp and called every number connected to a gym. The YMCA ended up being the perfect place after a few disappointing phone calls. Daytime passes were $30.00 some places. Since I'm not in town long enough for a membership I have to do whatever works at this point. I ended getting great news after i called the YMCA. Only $12.50 a day. and if you bring someone with you it'll be cheaper. State of the art equipment. Olympic size swimming pool. A sauna, free weights and benches too! They have different levels of the gym. It's awesome. This place does a lot for their community and they are most definitely all about the kids! I can't remember all of their names at the front desk. However they were all very nice ladies. Great customer service and they all made me feel at home! They even took me on a tour before my workout. It's not a business so much as a love affair with the sport that there entire family partakes in. Got the training out of the way Friday and got to jumping on Saturday. Got three jumps in, had the fourth paid for when John shut it down for the day due to weather... said what he saw on the radar was concerning. I was issued a 100% full refund with out even asking. I wanted to get that last jump in bad, so I called every drop zone between Norwich and my place. They all said the same thing about the storm front.
