Well I haven't been there for a couple of years. Really hungry as I had eaten nothing all day. I…read more took a train went downtown and did something. Coming back got off the train had a hankering for a little chocolate. I see they had pumpkin, I tried the pumpkin and it was extremely thick dough with heavy icing and it did not taste that pumpkin. it tasted more clove than anything else and it was really thick dough which I do not care for. I also asked for an angel cream eclair as this was the place where I had discovered them years ago. Again, really thick donut . I do not like those. But the kicker for me is it had a little bit of white frosting on the top in like a small pattern and I took a bite into the inside... It was custard. That is like a regular long John or perhaps a Boston cream. I told the girl what I wanted and this was not an angel cream eclair so I can now say I am officially and finally done forever with this place. The quality of the donuts was not that good, and they didn't give me what I asked for and she repeated it and I'm officially done. DO NOT GO HERE!

Our guests couldn't get enough, either - everything was devoured the second it was laid out. It was all so delicious that I didn't let our families take the leftovers because I wanted them for myself (sorry, mom!). The desserts were beautiful too; everything was meticulous, uniform, and refined. The presentation was very elegant. Our cutting cake was somehow amazingly moist and held up perfectly throughout the night, and the decoration was gorgeous. Chef Elvita herself was just an absolute joy to work with; she was very responsive, communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about her craft. Can't recommend her enough!!
