Not the most welcoming and engaging by any means. The area around it is actually quite charming so you could make a nice one or 2-hour visit and walk around the to see the historical sites. My reason for the lukewarm review is the prices are too high for the area. I feel the prices should be 10 to 15% less than they are.

I've lived about four miles away from this place for the past six years, and yet I had NO IDEA that…read moreit existed. A vegetarian-based, organic market? Close to my hood? The idea blew my mind. The only reason I actually discovered this place was because I was on the Sweet 'n' Sara vegan marshmallow website, looking for a local place where I could procure these little delicacies (other than Whole Foods). And Green Street Natural Foods popped up. I dropped by one afternoon, mid-week, and was so, so happy with my findings. All sorts of vegetarian specialties (not the least of which was my favorite marshmallow!) and organic produce. Even vitamins! And the dude working there was super nice, super helpful, and made me feel good about shopping there. He even said he'd order Blue Mango veggie burgers, by my request. I'm thrilled that I actually found out about this shop. I will frequent it often, especially in the June-November months, since my CSA pick-up location is nearby. Psyched.

Shout out to Trombley's Gardens, Milford !!…read more I'm thrilled to know there are So many "new" gardeners this year but oh wow they went out shopping early for annuals and just about wiped out garden centers so they were looking decimated by last weekend. I feared my containers were going to go unplanted this year A neighbor suggested Trombley's and I am so glad we tried them. They told me they had a lot less than they usually do for Memorial Day Weekend because so many have taken to gardening, but they still had (have) an ample selection and all their stock looks great! I bought & planted 30 + 6-packs and 4" annuals yesterday, filling 7 very large containers with Thrillers, Fillers and Spillers! Yes, in the rain! Like the other reviewer here, I am a beginning beekeeper, but I had the opposite experience of hers. He was a delight. I was tempted to give the place four stars instead of five, just because the selection is somewhat limited. For instance, I wanted to look some different honey extractors, and they had just one. But probably, if they stocked everything I was looking for or wanted to browse, they'd go out of business in short order..... In the end, I give five stars to balance out that one-star review, which really seemed completely unlike my own experience. It's a very helpful and sweet little shop. Note: They are not there 24/7.
