Some decent teachers, some of the teachers had no business teaching anywhere! Some of the teachers are gossips!

I've had a crazy busy day running errands while juggling a baby since drop off. When I came to pick up my kids the same place I dropped them off it was a little confusing since it's new. Apparently I was at the wrong location for pick up. I make my way around feeling a bit anxious now but I see one of my children and gave a little honk as I see her and her teacher walk away. The principal Linda, right away screamed out no honking you gotta get out. So I parked and I pulled my baby out, there I explained I came by to the same spot I dropped them off at and her response was "if you were here yesterday you would've known this is where pick up is because I explained it" in front of other parents. On top of being anxious, exhausted, and lost now I am completely embarrassed. Now my child has walked away from where I can no longer see or call for her as she walks towards the office. I got back in my car buckled my son back up and parked again now for the 3rd time and I got out once more to the other pick up area for my other child when I was told my younger one can walk to my older one and I can do one pick up instead of two by the office staff. I felt she could've explained and guided me instead of being rude and insulting me in front of other parents. As well as being more understanding since it is the first day of school after all. Not a great first impression.

I've now been an All Seasons parent for four years, and both of my daughters have absolutely loved their time here. Each year, they've had different teachers as they moved up, and every teacher has been wonderful--experienced, engaging, and genuinely connected with the kids. I appreciate how All Seasons balances strong academics with opportunities for independent play and encourages respect among students. One of the things I value most is the open and consistent communication between teachers and parents--something not all preschools prioritize. The entire staff, especially the director, is incredibly communicative and supportive. There is a waitlist, so be sure to add your child's name as early as possible!

The school takes only potty trained kids from 2.5 years old to 6 years old (so includes TK and K). Minerva is the director of the school and she is honestly the most organized, enthusiastic and hard working person I've ever met. She puts alot of time and effort planning out events for the school and making sure the kids are stimulated academically. No event is missed and this includes Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Halloween, Book Fairs, and Thanksgiving. Our kids love the teachers and love the whole environment. Hot lunch and snacks are provided daily so parents don't have to worry about packing food although you can bring your kids lunch and snacks if you prefer. We see that the kids have tremendous growth academically and this is visible in both classwork and homework. There are also few random holidays/early dismissal days and the school provides early drop off at 8am and late pick up at 6pm which makes it ideal for working parents. Honestly I can go on and on about how amazing this school is but it literally would fill up a book. The waitlist is long so be prepared to line up early.

Oasis Trilingual Community School is truly a hidden gem in all of LA. What makes this school so…read moreexceptional isn't just the academics, but the deep sense of community amongst all the students and families. The teachers and staff are profoundly dedicated. You can tell they don't just see this as a job; they are deeply invested in the growth and well-being of every single child. They gladly volunteer on Friday nights for student-only events (who does this?), which proves how much they love the kids. This passion is also reflected in their unmatched language immersion program. The way they balance Mandarin, Spanish and English creates such a natural, fluid learning environment that gives the kids a massive head start for global travel, learning and potential work as adults. The most special and rare part of Oasis Trilingual is the community. It's the kind of place where all the parents actually know each other. There is a tangible sense of "it takes a village" here--everyone is willing to volunteer, dedicate their time, and step up to help the school thrive. Seeing so many parents who are genuinely invested in the success of all the children, not just their own, is what makes this environment so unique. Parents don't just drop-off and leave; they drop-in and help. If you are looking for a school that offers both high-level bilingual or trilingual education and a warm, supportive community that feels like family, this is it!!! 100/10.

We appreciate the individualized learning plans that consistently challenge him. He's learned so much in both Mandarin and Spanish, despite little to no exposure before Oasis. The parent community has been terrific - everyone is committed to what's best for the school and the students, and we support each other. Oasis has the best parts of a small, community-driven school with a keen attention to educating the whole child.

But why didn't the teacher let her know when it happened? Another time my brother-in-law arrived a bit early to pick up my nephew. It wasn't until they saw my brother in law watching that they went to console my nephew. Obviously we pulled him out of the school. So scary to think that people like this watch our children.

Our child is a sensitive artistic type, and most of the teachers we have had are understanding, and work with my child's style of learning. The staff is caring and attentive. They know my child by name, and are aware of my child's needs. Any issues we have had have been dealt with in a compassionate way, with my child's education (both academically and socially) as the utmost importance. We can't afford to donate lots of time or money to the school, but we have always been treated equally, like other families. Are there cliques, of course, this is true at every school. Are there teachers that are not as warm and fuzzy, yes, just like real life. All in all, I feel my child is getting a great education, is safe and cared for, and will be a better member of society from attending Baldwin Stocker. I'm not discounting issues that a few parents have had, and I'm sorry if there have been others that have had problems there. I hope they found resolve to their situations. The parents I speak with are happy to be part of the Baldwin Stocker community.

If you're not near Arcadia School District, look up Chiao Hsin in Walnut and Monterey Park. These two so far are great for us!!!
