If the children could speak up there would be much more news on this school than we realize!!! I myself am I victim of their don't ask don't tell policy. I even asked my parents when I was much older if they remember an incident I had back in fourth grade and they said they were never notified of the situation. I had the principle, a THERAPIST, and my teacher present all without my parents. They were never notified. This school has a lot of teacher bullying even now. I have a little cousin whose seen other students get humiliated in front of the class. Being called names and making it pretty clear that that child is a failure in front of all their classmates. They even had incidents where the teacher will withhold the students from going to the bathroom and most students would pee their pants in the classroom. How can these teachers be so unsympathetic, with no humanity, and still say they are all about the students? I'm pretty sure they don't even do background checks on these people they are hiring.

The staff's commitment to students' growth is commendable, and the academic programs are top-notch. My child thrived here, and I couldn't be happier with the education and support they received. They are not trained to handle kids with care and constantly yell at the kids. There is no compassion and one of the aids named Kiara yells at the kids constantly. I'm not sure how CPS hasn't been summoned but if you love your child please for the love of God don't send them here. Parents been trying to investigate the situation but yes abuse does happen in this school and it's terrible. Ashley, Kiara and this other girl who wears glasses they treat the kids with no respect and have no respect for other staff. Horrible place to work, very toxic and abusive! Mrs Flores lets the kids get yelled at constantly and Kiara yells at kids for fun at times which has traumatized at least one of the kids. I know this because that poor little girl has drawn on her paper explaining Kiara's behavior towards her. At times she would yell her name for no reason and the poor girl would get startled while Kiara just laughs and Mrs Flores joining in. How is this helping the kids? Why aren't they fired or in jail?!

I've had a crazy busy day running errands while juggling a baby since drop off. When I came to pick up my kids the same place I dropped them off it was a little confusing since it's new. Apparently I was at the wrong location for pick up. I make my way around feeling a bit anxious now but I see one of my children and gave a little honk as I see her and her teacher walk away. The principal Linda, right away screamed out no honking you gotta get out. So I parked and I pulled my baby out, there I explained I came by to the same spot I dropped them off at and her response was "if you were here yesterday you would've known this is where pick up is because I explained it" in front of other parents. On top of being anxious, exhausted, and lost now I am completely embarrassed. Now my child has walked away from where I can no longer see or call for her as she walks towards the office. I got back in my car buckled my son back up and parked again now for the 3rd time and I got out once more to the other pick up area for my other child when I was told my younger one can walk to my older one and I can do one pick up instead of two by the office staff. I felt she could've explained and guided me instead of being rude and insulting me in front of other parents. As well as being more understanding since it is the first day of school after all. Not a great first impression.

So irresponsible! I wonder how she made her judgement to send my kid back to classroom if she cannot do any basic focus assessment ?! It is definitely lack of communication with parents. It must be the parents to make a decision whether or not to pick up their kids when incident occurs; because clearly the health assistance staff cannot assess !!!
