I absolutely love the cat café and their mission!! I have never once smelled cat piss and even I did... it is a room full of cats... rescue cats at that... I'm confused what else people expected, but at that point I am convinced that they just don't know very much about cats and are just wanting to gawk at them like zoo animals. Nevertheless I digress because I love the concept of combining my two favorite things, coffee and kitties!! I have always enjoyed the experience and look forward to going back as many times as I can! This was a wonderfully friendly experience from a couple of local business owners which I believe is to be encouraged as well as understanding that they cater to all of their customers to the best of their abilities.. including children that very obviously need to have adults with them.. I have taken my son here several times in 2024 and we've had a wonderful experience each time. The owners communicate what's going on with their business via their Facebook page so be sure to follow them for their monthly drink and any updates. The coffee is comparable to other shops around town, but the prices seem slightly less. The cat room has various price options, depending on how long you want to stay, and is very reasonable at $6/person for 15 minutes. They have recently completed a fundraiser to install new ventilation and I can tell! I was really impressed that the room did not have a "cat" smell when we visited the most recent time! They also deep clean a couple of times a week, in addition to their daily cleans. Be sure to bring 25 cents for the treat machines and the cats will be following you everywhere! read more

I don't normally make reviews about places anymore, however, when I saw that this place didn't have a good review, I new I needed to write one. The building is really cute! It had many places to sit and games you could play. The drinks are so fun, and there isn't a million drinks there, but they have plenty of good ones to chose from. (All of the coffee drinks have cat puns which is AWESOME!) Anyway, the most important part, the cats, the cats were so sweet, and their room was a little messy, but they are animals??? Of course it's going to be a bit messy in there. I petted a lot of cats, and I didn't even get cat fur on me! The people who worked when I was was there, were very chill and friendly. Gibson's Cat Cafe is a wonderful local coffee cafe in Conway! You stop by, order some coffee, and then pet and play with cats. Yes, there is a small fee to sit with the cats (it does cost a lot to care for the kitties). They offer multiple hot and cold coffees, with cat themed names. The owners are compassionate about helping adopt out local cats to the community, and are getting close to 700 adoptions! Great place to enjoy some relaxation, coffee, and fur babies! Locally owned, friendly staff, and yummy drinks! I appreciate the work they are doing to save the lives of so many cats. I also appreciate that they protect those kitties and prioritize their wellbeing. They don't allow minors to enjoy the cats without an adult accompanying them. As we all know, the majority of children need to be taught how to love on fur babies so I'm glad they keep that in mind and require supervision. Gibson's is a wonderful place to pet all the kitties and cats. The owners are top notch and take wonderful care of all the animals. Their mission is simple love cats and love people. It doesn't get better than this. I visited with my 2 boys, 3 and 7. One is AuDhd, the cafe has lots of space and there was calm music playing. There were various places we could sit and pet or play with the cats. He wasn't overstimulated at all. This will probably be a regular venture for us. It was extremely affordable! read more

My boyfriend and I try to go as often as we can. We absolutely adore this place and always have amazing experiences. Coffee is always tasty, staff is always very welcoming, the environment feels very safe and cozy, the prices are good, and of course the cats are always so cute. My family has visited the cafe a couple of times, and it has quickly become the go-to trip for one of my children's birthday outings. The staff is friendly and the cats are always adorable. There is a requirement that an adult accompany any children in the lounge, but it is for the safety of the children and the cats running around. It also should be noted that the various felines in the lounge are available for adoption from a local shelter. read more

I'm so glad Gibson's exists to help the kitties. Just so you know, most cat cafes don't even make a profit. It's a labor of love that is very expensive to run. Without admission fees, they couldn't pay the rent. And that one is very reasonable. Some charge $25 an hour. And if I'm going to pay, I don't want screaming kids swinging kittens around by their tails, so I'm glad they have the parent rule. Thanks for all you do! read more

This is my favorite place in Conway and we are so lucky to have it. The owners rescue cats from euthanasia and give them a cozy place to live and help find them homes. There is a very minimal fee to pay to enter and play with the cats, but it comes with free drip coffee. Wonderful place and wonderful people! My family and I absolutely LOVE this place!!! My youngest adores cats and asks to go every week. Everytime we've been, the service has been amazing. The staff are always kind and very helpful. Very nice and personable cat enthusiasts own this place. I've only been a couple of times but each was memorable. The monthly coffee flavors make each month a new experience. My wife and I both love the adoption "pawtner" and we love the adoption days they host, where they bring animals of all kinds, to be adopted. They also have the best merch. read more

It's a puuuurfect place to keep the cats safe and provide a much needed hangout for the community! They do extra hours during finals week for college students and really put their heart into the business. They are always so kind and willing to help.
