Debbie loves what she does, and it is obvious by the amount of time she spends with her clients and their pets. Our dogs have no reluctance going with her when we take them for their grooming. I had my dogs scheduled to be boarded elsewhere for a trip in advance. The owner of that establishment had to close for the week due to a family emergency. This place got me in quickly. Now I know why. It was so dirty. It smelled so bad. They promised me indoor/outdoor runs. That was a lie. There was a three by three cylinder block cell with no access to the outside. The outdoor run was a tunnel that they were placed inside while someone was present. The place smelled like smoke. My dogs can hold their bladders for my 12-hour shifts (which ends up being more like 13-14). Their toys, blankets, and beds all smelled like pee. They didn't bathe them. They must have not let them out very often. At first they wouldn't let me walk my dogs to the pen they would be staying in. Which no facility has ever denied me access to seeing what the pens and facilities look like. I felt distraught leaving my baby puppies here. I felt like I was sentencing them to prison. The only good thing is that my dogs came back to me alive and didn't catch a virus from the lack of cleanliness. read more

Dropped my puppy off before 8 a.m. and he wasn't finished until after 4:30, which is ok, as I know sometimes things take a while. Haircut was acceptable but the poor guy REEKED of cigarette smoke & had to pee so badly when he got home; obviously had not been outside at all. I felt so sad that he was left all day to breathe cigarette smoke. Will never go back. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I took my dog here for a groom. My dog was completely shaved when I picked her up. I was so devastated. Never would I ask her to be cut so short! Not only that, but they overbooked that day and I wasn't able to pick her up until after 5. She had been there since 9:30am, had I known that I would have gladly brought my dog later in the afternoon. She also reeked of cigarette smoke and had to have a bath as soon as she got home. Dropped my dog off to her at 9:30, told her to cut and trim my dogs hair. When I finally got to go pick her up (6 hours later) they shaved her! When she brought her out to me I said "you weren't supposed to shave her" her reply was "if we would have just cut her hair it would have looked choppy." My husband then went back up there to get our money back and she would not refund me because she performed the service. Then changed her story saying that a hair cut is the same as shaving the dog!! To me shaving and a cut are two completely different things! Her excuse was that her hair was to thick and long so she didn't have any other choice but to shave her. But did NOT call and let us know any of this before she did anything. No courtesy at all! I have never had this service at any other grooming place and I will never be back!! Took my new rescue LuLu in for her first grooming. LuLu is a Schnoodle. She went in looking like The Shaggy Dog and came out looking so fabulous! I didn't even recognize her! Loved her cut and her nails were so short and dull- no scratching me. Plus she could see! We will def be back! read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a Groomer. My dog came home traumatized. Robin went in to get Zeke, and Debbie began screaming at her. I was quoted a price of $40, when I arrived to pick Zeke up, the price was $65.10. I was given the impression, I could not take my dog, until I agreed to their price. Zeke came out trembling, and was withdrawn for a day and a half. I will not return there ever. Debbie said something about my Australian Shepherd being a "biter", I had gone to "Puppy Luv" the day before in Jacksonville. I spoke with the owner there. She had just had surgery, and was unable to take any large dogs at the time. So then I ended up with Debbie, poor choice on my part for sure. This lady is a complete nut case, took our 5 month old puppy to get her nails cut and they were extremely rude! They did such a piss poor hack job that my dog now has some nails cut in the back and not even touched in the front. The lady had the nerve to tell us she was trying to bite her and her employees and says this is the best we could do. She has attacked my business on google and Facebook making false claims because she got mad about my honest bad review I gave her. Do not bring your pet there!!! read more

Went here because it is close to my house and the other grooming place was booked. Walked in and was blown away by cigarette smoke. I left the dogs and got home and had major second thoughts but it was too late to go back and get them. My dogs stink like an ashtray. That place is gross. I will never go back and I can't wait to re-bathe my dogs. read more

We took our standard poodle puppy in for his first grooming. We only chose this location because it was closest to our house. We dropped him off at 930am. Upon arriving inside the building we were greeted by an unkempt employee and a cat that was sitting atop of the reception counter. It reaked of cigarette smoke and the cat ran off and started scratching the leather furniture they had in the waiting area. We were skeptical of leaving him considering the filth. We ended up trying not to judge a book by its cover. They ended up calling us around 1145am to pick him up. When we arrived they brought him out and I had to send him back because I specifically asked them to trim all of his inner ear hair. Not only did they not trim the hairs his ears were still filthy on the inside. The cut they gave him was decent. Not too horrible. It wasn't until the following day we noticed they had burnt his skin with their clippers and his nail cuticle was scabbed up from when they cut it open. I would have given this groomer 0 stars if given the chance. Do NOT take your dog here. read more

I took my standard poodle there, and we were not pleased at all. It seems as if they were mean to him! They told me that they had to muzzle him. My dog would not hurt a flea,he has never bittin at any one and I dont think he ever would! He smelled funny and his hair cut was not good at all! So if you love your dog like we love ours, I WOULD NOT take it there!!!!! read more

I have used Debbie's Wagging Tails for grooming and boarding my dogs for years. I began taking my toy poodle there about 7 years ago and was delighted with the care and compassion he was given by the staff. Debbie has always take a personal interest in my pets needs. My poodle has since passed away and I now take my new puppy to Debbie's. She's a rather large dog who needs a good bath, her nails trimmed and her coat to be trimmed every month which is exactly what we get. She smells and looks wonderful.
