Wayne Stephens Cabinetry (WSC) is the only cabinet company my wife and I will use. WSC provided the…read morecabinets and countertops for our kitchen, bathroom and butler's bar renovation. I worked with Wayne Stephens himself. He came out to our house, looked at our areas and asked us what our vision was. Wayne took a bunch of measurements and week or so later, he had complete drawings of our new kitchen for my wife and I to review. We went to Wayne's office where he walked us through every detail of our new kitchen layout. He drew up a kitchen based on our requirements and let us make as many changes as we wanted. He used his many years of experience to respectfully make recommendations to prevent us from doing things we may later regret. After our cabinets were installed, we noticed some imperfections with a few of the cabinet doors (apparently this is fairly common with white cabinets). Wayne and the cabinet manufacturer's representative came out to my house to look at them and replaced them at no cost to us with no argument. Wayne is extremely detailed. I never knew how much thought had to go into laying out cabinetry. He thinks of things I never even knew were important. Wayne is also extremely responsive. He even replies to text messages and returns phone calls while on vacation. We are planning to renovate our basement this summer and will be using Wayne Stephens cabinetry.

This business sits quietly and unassumingly off Dixie Highway in a residential neighborhood, but if…read morecabinetry is something you are in the market for, I would not pass this place up. They do a lot of semi-custom and custom work for bathrooms, kitchens, etc., and we almost overlooked it because we were not in the mood for getting taken for a ride. I am glad we gave them a shot because they have excellent products all made in America at very reasonable prices. We told him the dimensions for the space that we wanted our vanity in and he straight up drew a design right in front of us. As a test, we got a quote from W. Stephens for the vanity and then turned around and asked Lowe's the make the same thing. Number one, they couldn't make exactly what we wanted and number 2, they were not cheaper (maybe by a hundred or so dollars but the materials they were using were not as high quality). I would strongly recommend that you drop by W. Stephens. He does business all over the country but he is never too busy to service anyone who needs it. We only needed a vanity this time, but, because of his great service, we are definitely using him for our kitchen remodel. Just remember, there is quite a bit of assembly once you get your cabinets. Be prepared. Sidenote: This place had plenty of people that have engineering and architecture degrees. And if they can't do it for you, they have a specialist nearby who can step in and help you with any design advice.

I can't speak to this organizations work because we never got to that end, but the owner's complete lack of respect for time and simple customer courtesy did not exist. Not happy with such a late response, but scheduled for estimate on Thursday two days later anyway 10/13 Thursday - Matt comes out and in 15 mins reviews the three jobs suggesting they're an easy fix, offers some alternative ideas, takes my email and says "Give me a day or two and I'll email you an estimate" 10/18 Tuesday - Five days later I still haven't heard from Matt so I call asking about the estimate 10/21 Friday - Two days more and still nothing so I call again and leave my name and email awaiting a response 10/27 Thursday - Six more days and still nothing so I leave a message asking for anyone to return my call, hoping somebody would abide by the "return your call by end of business the following day" mantra 10/28 Friday - In a last ditch effort I attempted contact through email on their company website noting that I understand scheduling the work may be a negotiable time frame based on the jobs they already may have booked, but all I wanted was acknowledgement and an opportunity to accept/decline their work (i.e. A return call to discuss options) To this date, three weeks later - nothing. Highly disappointed with a company that completely dropped the ball when it comes to common courtesy and good customer service.....
