Apparently, it's been years, and this location still hasn't done a thing about their crappy pharmacy. I called before I went and asked about a certain medication - wanting to check if a certain OTC was in stock or would need ordered. I was assured that the medication was in stock and kept behind the counter at the pharmacy. I then asked about if they had flu vaccines without egg, which I was again assured they also had. I even asked if appointments were necessary and I was told just to show up.
I get to the pharmacy and there's a short line, but it took at least 20 mins to get through. There were two people at the counter, and at least a half dozen behind the scenes, but they still couldn't move people through at a decent pace. I can't stand for long periods of time and my service dog was trying to get me to sit down before I fell down. Add all the people hanging around trying to talk to and gawk at him, I wasn't exactly in a good place by the time I reached the counter.
Now, the employee at first pretended not to know the medication I was talking about. And then gave me an attitude after I explained what it was and that I was told it would be here. She then said that they probably needed to order it - two seconds ago you didn't know what it was! She goes to check and they didn't have it. She said she could order it in, but I was already livid. I then asked if they at least had the egg-free flu vaccine and, again, she didn't know. She went to check, and five minutes later finally comes back to tell me that they can order it. Are you kidding? No, I'm not coming back tomorrow. I was told you had them, and spent all that time in line, barely avoiding a medical episode, and you want me to come back? Not happening.
The worst part is she wasn't the least bit apologetic over the situation. Even after being told that I had called to check and were told they had both in stock. She just gave me attitude about it. Go somewhere else. read more
