Looking for a highly regarded pizza establishment that was new to us, after reading some glowing Yelp reviews Diane and I arrived here very hungry for dinner to see and taste for ourselves. We were not disappointed! A Garden Salad with Italian Dressing was large, cool, and included fresh greens, chunks of tomatoes, onions, cucumber slices, small olives, and the unusual addition of a few welcome slices of roasted red pepper. Medium-sized Mozzarella Sticks that had Mozzarella Cheese oozing out of them on the outside, were gooey on the inside, and yet maintained a crisp and solid exterior were probably the best I have ever tasted for pure flavor. And, hot and obviously freshly baked Garlic Knots were not far behind. The taste of garlic was clearly there but subtle, which I prefer. We ordered two 14-inch medium pizzas. One was topped with ham and extra cheese. The salty ham flavor was evident, and the dough was perfect, but not that much extra cheese was visible on top of it. My made-to-order pizza consisted of four toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, and sliced tomatoes. As I prefer, the tomatoes were cooked with the pizza rather than loaded on afterwards. This pizza's dough was also cooked perfectly; tomato sauce and cheese were well apportioned; and the pepperoni packed great flavor. All pieces of tomato were ripe but mostly quarter-slices or less; the green peppers and mushrooms tasted fine but were rather small in size; and I would have liked more of them on top of my pizza. Moreover, although I thought both pizzas were excellent, and I understand that they are called here "thin-crust New York style pizzas," I missed the thicker dough, mass, and heft of traditional New York style pizza. Service staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating, and seating in the thin but long dining room was comfortable. XXXX-1/2 stars overall this first time around!

Sometimes you just need a good slice. That's what we got today at Gianna's Pizza. I read about Gianna's on Yelp and it did not disappoint. We ordered a small sausage NY style pie along with garlic parm wings and fries. Sherry and I visit Las Vegas a couple of times a year. We have our Indian Buffet, donut, and Dim Sum places. Add Gianna's to that rotation! The pizza was thin and chewy with (as the pizza guys say) little flop. The wings and fries came out hot and crisp. The garlic parm was more parmy than garlicy but still delicious. With sodas, tax and tip, we got out under $50. Give it a try, so good!

Gianna's always does good by me. We've been here multiple times over the years, and the service is always efficient, the pizza is delicious, and the wait is never too long. The last two visits we ordered the Alfredo pizza, it's a hit with the whole family, and you know we gotta add on some of their yummy fries! I overheard another customer ask for his fries (he ordered garlic cheese ones I believe but they forgot to add the toppings) he came back in asking them to add the toppings, that he eats them on the car ride home because they're so good, if he brings them home his wife eats them all! Haha, don't let me catch my hubby hiding fries from me is all I gotta say! I've yet to dine in for a meal, but today we did opt to sit inside and wait for our pizza, it worked out because it was not super busy at the time we stopped by besides a few other takeout orders. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Thanks Gianna's for your tasty food, and helpful service. We'll be back soon, I'm sure of it!

Spaghetti and meatballs, the salad that was supposed to come with the meal was missing

I usually love the food here. But today was disappointing. First of all, I ordered garlic knots and they were burnt. And it I ordered spaghetti and meatballs that was supposed to come with a salad. They forgot to give me the salad which was a let down. The service was alright, some of the packages were unsatisfied. I might not come back for awhile.

Classic spot. Great flavor. Love being able to still grab a single slice of pizza! Hard to come by these days. Service was friendly & quick. The ambiance was charming, pretty old school feel

My 3rd visit here! The best experience as always...the Vibe here is like family Very warm, excellent service and amazing food. Today I ordered the 2 Pepperoni Pizza slice special. It's was amazing. The Best New York crust Pizza in Las Vegas! Give them a try, and you'll never go to another Pizzeria! Today I tried their Tiramizu, wow it's the real deal. I have tried many, but never like this one? It's like they brought the ingredients from Italy! Love dining here though I always dine alone, I really enjoy myself here and don't feel weird, or uncomfortable or anything!! Highly recommend this place. I will come now more often, as I need to try other dinner items, can't wait. The girl at the front desk & the Pizza maker are both super nice and warm. Keep it up, you guys (Gotta give a special shout out to the Pizza guy!! He really makes the best Pizza!!) See you again soon!

I happen to be in the area and seen the sign Pizza so I stopped by to grab a pie. The little pizza shop is pretty cool. Has the old New York vibe in it. The ingredients that were cooking with the pies in the oven smelled strong and mouthwatering. I ordered a large pizza half supreme half cheese. The staff greeted me with respect and professionalism, the place was clean and pretty cool. The pizza was outstanding first time tried this place pretty good but I will be back.

Pulled up this place on Yelp to try. Wanted to take our grandkids out for pizza. It was super Cute inside just like a New York pizza place. We all ordered the slice special but my son. We enjoyed all of ours he ordered an actual bbq chicken pizza and it was smothered in bbq sauce. He was not a big fan. Other than that I definitely recommend it if you just wanna stop by for a quick lunch!

He made us feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated throughout our entire experience. Thank you, Pizza Rock, for continuing to provide not only great food but also outstanding service. We ordered the cracker-thin Chicago Classic and a Neapolitan Margherita with pepperoni and sausage. Both were fantastic, and the food itself was exactly what we've come to expect from Pizza Rock. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. The service was terrible we were not greeted promptly to be fair no one was and the TV situation at the bar was even worse. When we politely pointed out some flaws with the setup, the bartender became argumentative rather than acknowledging the concerns or trying to make the experience better. "I'm not allowed to change TVs 4x" "managers screwed if all up now I have to fix it" My buddy asked her if the sour was sweet or dry and she basically laughed shrugged, mite as well said I dont FN know.... But the biggest issue was what we witnessed from the bar back wearing a Beckham jersey. He was wearing the same gloves while bussing dirty cups, handling his personal phone checking his fantasy football, and then proceeding to pour drinks for other customers without changing gloves. That's absolutely disgusting and a serious food safety concern. There is no excuse for that kind of cross-contamination, especially in an establishment that handles food and beverages all day. It's frustrating because the pizza is genuinely excellent, but great food doesn't make up for poor service, an unprofessional attitude, and questionable sanitation practices. Pizza Rock is capable of so much better. Hopefully management takes this feedback seriously, because this experience left a very bad impression. Last time I went to GVR location the wood fire oven was down

We ordered like we were feeding a larger family. I stand by our decisions. The mac & cheese bites came in a generous portion and were delicious--a strong opening act for a table with absolutely no intention of pacing itself. The penne alla vodka was a standout. One of the best vodka sauces I've had, with caramelized onions adding sweetness and bacon bringing a savory, smoky edge. Those additions gave the sauce a distinct flavor and made this much more memorable than your standard bowl of vodka pasta. The Boss specialty pizza brought hot honey, chicken, and bacon together for a delicious mix of sweet, spicy, and savory. Appropriately named. I wasn't about to question its authority. But the plain cheese slice deserves its own credit: thin, crispy, and delicious. Specialty toppings are fun, but a simple cheese slice tells you a lot about a pizza place. This one gave me every reason to keep eating. The atmosphere had that classic New York feel, with the added luxury of not having to sit in a stranger's lap. All the charm, a reasonable amount of personal space. Fantastic experience from start to finish. We're already looking forward to going back, and Brooklyn's Best is officially on the short list whenever our Italian cravings hit.

Yes, I could tell you exactly where Secret Pizza is. But that would ruin the fun. Half the charm of…read morethis place is earning your slice, so here's all you get: it's in the Cosmopolitan. Look for an unmarked hallway lined with old record albums. Picture Sinatra-era crooners, a Godfather soundtrack and some Jackie Gleason mood music all staring down at you while you wonder if you're about to get pizza or get recruited into something. Honestly, it isn't that hard to find. Just follow the people eating pizza in a hallway and the line spilling out the door. This is New York-style pizza. I'm a West Coast guy, so I can't confirm it with a New Yorker's authority. What I can confirm is that the crust folds the way it's supposed to: thin in the middle, puffy and blistered at the edge, with a little chew and a crisp underside that holds up to the toppings. You walk up to the counter, look over the glass at a lineup of slices that should be illegal to display to tired people, and choose. Grab a couple of slices or commit to the whole pie. Fair warning: the line moves at its own pace, and a whole pie gets made fresh. If you order by the slice, they take a slice from the display, add whatever toppings you want and put it back in the deck oven to reheat. Either way works. The one rule is to eat it immediately. This pizza is a sprinter, not a marathoner. The pies: * White pizza: This is the specialty, and it earns the reputation. It's a creamy blanket of melted cheese with golden, leopard-spotted bubbles, streaks of herby garlic oil and flecks of green. The crust is burnished and crackly at the edge. It's rich, garlicky and quietly addictive, the kind of slice you swear is your last right before you take another. * Sausage and pepperoni (my personal favorite): Big, glossy pepperoni slices curl at the edges into little cups of seasoned grease, the good kind. Generous hunks of browned, fennel-y sausage sit on top. Every bite is salty, savory and meaty in a way that makes you look at your friends and nod slowly without speaking. * Supreme: This pie is covered edge to edge with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. It's the everything bagel of pizza. It's heavy and loud in the best way, and somehow the crust still holds it all together. Seating, sort of... There's no official seating. You might borrow the waiting area for a neighboring restaurant, or stand at outdoor tables (no chairs) that belong to someone else. Again, it's all part of the experience. You're not dining here, you're on a mission. The verdict: Nine of us finished three whole pies at 2 a.m., standing up and laughing, with sauce on our fingers. That's what Vegas is about. If your night doesn't end in a secret hallway with a slice in your hand, did it even happen?

5/5 | Absolutely stellar. Worth the drive!…read more Every once in a while, you find a pizza spot that gets just about everything right. This was one of those experiences. I originally stopped in because I wanted to pick up one of their awesome T-shirts. As a Christian-owned business, I appreciate their willingness to share their faith and build a brand around something they believe in. Unfortunately, they were out of the shirts, but that certainly wasn't going to stop us from ordering some pizza! And I'm glad we did. The Grandma's pie was exactly what I was looking for. Beautifully baked rectangular crust, generous toppings, rich tomato sauce, melted cheese, fresh basil, sausage, and those fantastic little pepperoni cups with their crispy, curled edges. Everything worked together without feeling like the toppings were competing with one another. What really stood out was the crust. A good Grandma's pie needs structure. You want that crisp exterior, a satisfying bite, and enough substance to support the toppings without turning into a soggy mess. This one delivered. And then there were the garlic knots! Golden, generously coated in garlic and herbs, with that beautiful buttery finish. Exactly what you want from a good garlic knot. Simple food done right, and the marinara on the side was a welcome addition. One of my biggest tests with takeout is how well the food survives the trip home. I live in Mountain's Edge, so this wasn't exactly a five-minute drive. I'm happy to report that everything held up beautifully. The pizza maintained its structure, the crust was still enjoyable, and the garlic knots were just as inviting when we got home. Pooped it in the oven at 365F for 12 mins and it was like it just came out of the oven at the restaurant! I also appreciate the personality behind this business. Their message, their branding, and the pride they put into what they're serving all contribute to the experience. You don't have to share someone's beliefs to appreciate a business that operates with a clear sense of identity and purpose. All in all, an easy 5 out of 5 for me. I've said before that three stars means I'd eat somewhere again. Four means I'd confidently recommend it. Five means I'd go out of my way to bring someone there. This is a place I'd gladly make the drive for again, and one I'd encourage others to experience. Great pizza, excellent garlic knots, and a business I'm happy to support.
