My search ended this year when I found a flyer on my front door for The Christmas Crew. I called them and within a week, they were out to measure and make me an offer for lights. I was thrilled. They got them up very soon after that and anytime anything went wrong, they were there to fix it, oftentimes before I even called about it. They also got them down a few days after New Years which is what I like. On another note: they came by and cleaned out my dryer vent as well. My dryer hasn't worked better in years. I read where the previous reviewer said they are easy to deal with via their Facebook page so I immediately went to Facebook to send them a message requesting a quote. I provided my address and my situation and had a quote within 27 minutes. I had a few more quotes in the works, so I didn't reply for installation right away. After deciding that their customer service was already impressive, and getting one quote days after I requested it, I went with 5-Star. I had my own lights that were fitted for my house last year. The company I used last year was also my lawn service. After an honest Yelp review, I discontinued my lawn service with them but wanted to keep my light installation with them. They got mad at my honest review and ignored my request for a quote, then finally sent me an outrageous quote stating that they didn't think I would want to use them due to my review. So guess what? I didn't. I then contacted 5-Star again and asked about availability. They had availability within a few days so I booked it. My original time window was 8pm-10pm. I thought wow they are really trying to get these lights done. I got a text the morning of asking if they could come earlier in the afternoon and I said yes. They came earlier than that, and I was out walking so my teenager gave them the bin of lights and they got started. I'd never even looked in the bin of lights from when they were taken down last year so I was hoping they had all they needed. When I got home the project was well underway. I asked if they had what they needed and they said they did so I let them be. I texted asking what method of payment they preferred and got a response right back. Then I got a text saying they would be done in about 15 minutes. The installer asked what time setting I wanted my lights on, did a quick walk around with them and paid through zelle. I know some people don't like technology and want to talk to a person, which I'm sure you can, but I really appreciated all of the exchanges done via messenger and text. I asked the installers about removal and they said they would be back in my area the first few weeks of January and that I would be notified. I took my empty bin and put it away until then. It doesn't get any easier than that! Oh and it's a woman owned business too? Woop Woop!!!

For this year's lights I called Khenny to schedule a time and they were here as promised. They also do superb window cleaning. While Khenny cleaned the windows, the other guys started putting up the lights. I have tons of lights on the house, outlining the sidewalk, along my front fence and gate and also wrapping the trunks of several trees. It is a big job and it went smoothly. After they tested all the light strings to ensure that all lights worked. I would highly recommend them for either installing Christmas Lights or Cleaning Windows.

Turns out, Tim lives in the neighborhood next to ours so scheduling was a Breeze...(pun intended). They were both very knowledgeable and friendly. The installation price was beyond fair and the job was completed quicker than expected. The new Govees worked great for two years. Then they just stopped. So, I reached out to Holiday Breeze again. Tim responded within the hour (probably quicker) and scheduled to come by the next day. He checked the wires and explained all the possibilities of what could be causing the problem. One of the possibilities involved plugging in a new transformer and I already had one on the way. Tim offered to come back once the new transformer arrived. But I had my husband try the new transformer because it was the weekend. It didn't work. So, Tim came back that Monday and as he began telling me next steps, I asked about replacing the lights. Turns out he is also a distributor for a much better product than Govee. I appreciate him not mentioning the other lights until I asked for his opinion. No pushy sales pitch, which I greatly appreciate. He just gave me the facts, answered my questions and sent me videos of what the other lights look like on a house. We haven't had the new lights installed yet. But I have no doubt they will be much better than what we had. As for Tim and Holiday Breeze, I can't say enough nice things about our experience and if you are considering permanent lights, my advice is: 1. Invest in a good product 2.
