This is my 4th car that I got wrapped. This by far is the cleanest and most professionally done wrap job I had. Don't be fooled by the exotic car pictures you see on ads and logos from other shops. Ghost Customz left me feeling idiotic for spending $1,225 for a 'performance paint' that scratches with unbelievable ease, and has peeled in 3 different spots that I can show plenty of pictures for. The material is soft, a 'black satin' as Thomas called it, and when confronted about the scratching issue, the business owner's professionalism completely collapsed. I brought in my father who's an auto detailer because he knows more about paints & vehicles than I do, to help communicate my concerns because when he saw the finished product for himself he was totally displeased. As opposed to offering solutions, Thomas was immediately defensive and angry, and resorted to yelling the moment we arrived because we 'pulled up' on them (I called them 5 minutes beforehand letting him know I was stopping by because I had questions & concerns about the wrap, which they already sounded unhappy about. I've told them I live 30 minutes away and stopping by while I could is best). I could barely get any words in about my concerns because he was too hung up on 'pulling up' and focusing on the non-issues about how fingernails are bone (It's keratin), 'so it's going to scratch the wrap' when I was only indicating to him that the wrap is SO SOFT that fingernails CAN and DO scratch the wrap. Vehicles are meant to be driven, and are exposed to smog, dirt, asphalt, gravel, (and here in Las Vegas especially) SAND. I was trying to explain to Thomas that the car has an absurd amount of scratches for a wrap that should be able to handle basic daily driving. No reliable material should scratch from being slightly nicked; there's no justification for using a fragile material that can't handle basic daily elements. It's only been 4 weeks, and I am dreading to see what happens when the gradual accumulation of bugs hitting the wrap leave circular-shaped spots, or if a pigeon craps on the roof and leaves a big mark because of the soft material. From watching with my own eyes, fallen blades of leaves from trees, fingernails on door-handle, and even the fleeting accidental touch of jeans scratch the wrap incredulously. He conceded nails scratch it, but that nails would scratch anything, including a normal car. But that is blatantly ridiculous, an actual paint job would not have the eye sores as indicated in the pictures below. My Charger was wrapped on the 8th of Nov., and finished curing on Nov. 22nd. This is crucial because he said not to wash the car for two weeks, and I completely obliged. When it was cured, he gave a text message and verbal instructions to use NO-CONTACT washes, so I obliged, and only used the Decatur Autowash in North LV to clean the car AFTER it cured. I even brought my vehicle in on November 20th for him to paint the rear lights black (which he did a good job on, fortunately), and he himself saw that the car was FILTHY, indicating I did not wash it. So he saw with his own eyes, I was following his instructions on not washing like he said. Yet, he proceeded to accuse me of washing it, or at the very least that, 'somebody must be picking at it,' when I showed him two points of peeling on the car. I garage my car, and when It's not in the garage, I'm driving it. It's barely left unsupervised and I have a dashcamera with sentry mode. One peel was on the lower left trim, and more peeling on the back left door where you DON'T open or close the door from, meaning it is not from user error. The day he painted my rear lights, he even had to patch up a peeled piece of wrap on the trunk that he noticed that I hadn't seen before... which he fixed at that time, but did make me raise an eyebrow. These issues were ALREADY manifesting before it even cured since that was on Nov 20th. The fourth peel is on the back trim by the exhaust, but it's plastic so that's a pass. Final problem. This guy, very clearly, to save time out of laziness, spray wrapped the ENTIRETY of the car, and only taped the windows. You can tell this is the case because he did the chrome charger letterings on the trunk, in black, windshield wipers black, seals by the hood & windshield, black, my chrome spotlight black, my pushbar black (it was already), all plastic trim black (which he said to 'peel off since it's coming off anyways'), and my FEINIX siren black. He promised to do the exhaust tips in white, and 'forgot to' but that he'd do them when we smoke the rear lights. When I got the rear lights painted black, he was re-wrapping his car to black & blue. My guess is he was feeling too lazy to stop his personal project, so he dissuaded me from doing my exhaust tips white because 'it wouldn't look good,' shown in our text messages. Overall, he did a bad job and has nightmarish customer service. At the end of the day, he now has my $1,225, and I have a terribly scratched wrap that will be lucky to last to Christmas with the early signs of peeling it has. Take one look at these pictures and say with a straight face this is acceptable. read more

My car has always been my main way of getting around in this world. From girl trips with my friends to traveling for work it's always been at the crux of my life. I take care of it, wash it and am precautionary with it just like I would be with a beloved pet. That means regular maintenance when it comes to something as crucial as the engine or the tires to the more "aesthetic" part of owning a car such as the cleaning and detailing. I am very predisposed to wanting to support local businesses, especially those owned by people of color -- in this case someone who identifies as a black man, and was excited to go to Ghost Customs. I had heard from word of mouth that Thomas was an awesome person to go to for wraps and other varied aesthetic needs. Of course he knows the more mechanical parts of car owning, as expected from someone who owns a car-oriented business, but his main focus was definitely on trims, wraps and making your car look great so you could feel confident when driving. When I got there I was sorely disappointed. Thomas was at first friendly -- but the more we discussed the more obvious it became that he thought that he knows more than the customer. Of course I'm always willing to listen to an expert but the more we spoke the more obvious it became that he was condescending and commandeering. He insisted that he knew what color would be best for my wrap -- even if I wanted something else entirely -- and was very forward. As a woman I found this a tad saddening as I expected him to work with me as a fellow car enthusiast rather than trying to enforce his "knowledge" over me which especially felt stinging as a woman. The finality of the product was unacceptable -- peeling, shoddily done and just overall a poor job. When confronted he rose his voice with me and backed me into a corner even though I was the one paying for his "expert" services. Overall I'm severely disappointed not only in the job done on my car but the fact that he responds to every negative review with a "this isn't my customer" (a cover for not taking responsibility) and has obviously paid for AI generated five-star reviews. BUYER BEWARE! Thomas is not an ethical business man. You're better off supporting either women owned or other POC focused small businesses. Not only that but he is using AI generated reviews along with positive (biased) reviews from his wife/girlfriend. Nepotism at it's finest? .5/1 stars :(!! read more
