Not a problem on its own, but you do need some life experience and tact to be a manager of a hardware store where most of you're customers know more than anyone the store. I blame the owners of the store, not the young people, but still... it sucks for customers that need any sort of help or problem solved. I went in for Stihl hearing protection and the box was ripped in several places and soaked in oil! The head set itself was just loose in the box with no packaging and not clean. Theres no way it was new and they knew it, yet refused to do anything or acknowledge the problem. They offered no discount, no alternative at a matched price, nothing. Not my first issue with this garbage business, just the latest and the reason I'm done giving them money.

Located in the Marina Shores strip with the newly opened Ballyhoos. Parking is plentiful, but some amount of debris seems present. The outside trash can was with in its boundaries. Upon walking in on a weekday morning a few staff was there to direct me to the lock aisle. A staff member had the key to unlock the case. I found the store neat in appearance and stock organized. The store had a bit of everything, it's just not a big box like a Home Depot, or Lowe's. From garden needs to, lawn mowers to paint I bet they have it. My experience is that you can typically get help and be on your way much faster than a big box. Check out was friendly and the staff member assisted me with cutting open the plastic packaging which was appreciated. This is a store I would recommend. They have a few locations at the beach.

Brick and mortar businesses need to wake up. At this point you're nothing more than convenience stores for whatever items you sell. The third try is a charm…read more This Ace Hardware was the last place I visited in search of some accessories for my fireplace. *I'm surprised this was the only place that had the supplies that I needed.* Since I struck out at two other places, I was going to order the things online. Fortunately, this Ace location was en route to another destination, and I decided to give it one last shot. Upon entering the store, an associate immediately asked me if he could help me find something. I guess that I looked very confused while entering the store. He pointed me in the right direction to get my things. Also, he came to the area after a few minutes to see if I was found what I was looking for and to remind me that I should make sure that my chimney flue was taken care of. I guess that I was lucky to visit when I did because they had only one fireplace tool set . . . at least on display. While the prices were a bit higher compared to some of the prices that I saw online, they were not that bad. The store is a bit smaller compared to other hardware stores in the area, so it might be useful to call first to inquire if they have what you are looking for.
