The main thing is the rock wall. The job they did started rusting in under a month. Then the attempt to water seal the concrete left an eye sore and also dripped into the pool and on the tiles. I had to fix all of that myself because the more they tried to fix things the worse it got. The pipes for the waterfall leak inside and behind the wall causing white streaks everywhere. And in terms of time to complete, it was not great. Took nearly a month and a half because they would sometimes not come for a week at a time often without communication for days on end. The overall construction of the rock wall is not good or what was advertised in the quote. It looks very amateur and the structural issues will ensure that I will have issues now and down the line. I had to intervene several times and it still missed the mark. On the good side their prices are competitive and basic plastering and tiling seems to be alright so far, but I wouldn't use or reach out to them again. Nobody should expect their pool to look like this weeks after paying for a remodel.

They send a crew that "gets it to the best they can" leaving the homeowner to clean it themselves. We had selected the Midnight blue upgrade with horrible results. See photos. They told us the same "brush it twice a day for 3 months" that didn't work at all. They came back to acid it wash it twice and the results were so bad they chipped it out and replastered. We even downgraded the color to French Gray to increase the success of receiving an acceptable outcome. They just replastered again, trashed the yard and planting beds and ripped us off on the cobalt blue glass beads we paid extra for. This company is dishonest (especially Tony) - He offered to upgrade the glass beads for free if we bought his guys lunch, which we did, he then asks to be compensated for the glass beads when their done. They trash your pool fittings and then slap some glue on it to fix it. Again, sheer incompetence as the glue wasn't applied to a clean joint and then lapped over the pool shell. Today they replastered again. Gave them the plan in the photos, discussed with Mike twice including earlier today, and this is what we received for the $3600 we paid for the glass beads. They are younger guys and told me upfront they don't do the major repairs (needed a major repair from the prior guys mistakes). He said they only do the maintenance and contract out big repairs. Fine. If they do a good job maintaining the pool, shouldn't have to worry, right? Wrong... First, we have a side gate that I asked multiple times for the guys to please shut to keep my dogs in. It's not the easiest gate to shut, but just a hard slam and shake can ensure it latches. They rarely did. Multiple times I heard it swinging open. Multiple times I complained. Once, came home to find my dogs running around in the street. I told Corey and he actually showed up with some dog treats and toys to apologize. Which was a good touch and I felt it was sincere and him doing that made me really want to keep his services. Then things just got worse. Started noticing problems with my pop-up system. Found out they never flushed the lines like their contracted guy told them to do. Turns out, they never check them. No idea how long they were not functioning. Then pool started getting green. Told Corey. I was actually impressed with him showing up the next day and he cleaned the filters and the pool came back a little bit. Couple weeks go by, pool is green again. Told Corey that there is no Chlorine in either the in-line system or the float. It needs more and the pumps were set to run very little throughout the day. He said the guy would come tomorrow. Never came. He came the following day. Pool got greener after. Shocking, I noticed the pop up system not working again. Waited to see if his guy would check it after complaining to Corey. He didn't. Didn't even realize the breaker had flipped and the Pop Ups were off. Next day, I checked. No chlorine tablets in either and pumps never adjusted. Even after complaining, the guy comes, takes the leaves out of the top of the pool and drops barely any chemical in the pool. I text Corey. He apologized. Said he was getting a new guy and the prior guy wasn't working out. Offered to come out the next day to fix it, but had nothing to say about this not continuing to happen. He had a very, "ya, my bad, I get it if you cancel services, I can come by tomorrow to fix but whatever you want" attitude. I told him I wanted him to stay on. Next day, he never showed up. Completely ghosted. He offered a refund when I first spoke to him about the issues, but no response after I told him I was done and never responded for the refund. Who knows if I will ever see that. These pictures, were taken 48 hours AFTER the service was completed and AFTER I had complained. I hate doing that, but you think the next service would be different after having just complained. Either Corey never even talked to the guy or the guy just REALLY doesn't care. Either way, it's not what you want.

I was away, then my skimmer didn't get delivered... once again in one visit they got it all under control. I promised they'll never come and find my pool in that bad a shape again. I paid…read moreJohhny and Trinity thousands of dollars to get my pool back but they never delivered on their promises! These people are devoid of character and ethics in business . They drained my pool and did an acid wash, charged me over $300 for "startup chemicals" and assured me the pool would be clean for my tenants but they knew all along that they were going out of business so they stopped sending the pictures with the weekly status reports and started ghosting me when I inquired about why I haven't been receiving the pictures and of course no reply! Against my better judgment and as a gesture of good faith, I prepaid my pool service from September until February so I didn't have to deal with very unreasonable tenants. To my surprise, Johhny and Trinity did not refund the remainder of my prepayment and lied to the new contractor Desi at Pool Medic who to my surprise tried to get me to pay for Dec & January pool service . They seemed like honorable people, but I can't warn you enough to stay away from these people if they ever get back into the pool business again. They ghosted me and then claimed they didn't sell their business to another vendor and to my surprise I got a bill for services that were already prepaid from Pool Medic. Johhny assured me he would send me receipts of the credits to my credit cards but as of today that never happened. Nevada law says 10% upfront only and every time they did work for me they wanted 100% upfront. What a disappointment and betrayal of trust! Karma will get these two!

The pool smart team gave me practical advice on how to do the repair economically, and was even cool with me shopping for parts online. No upsell or up charge pressure at all! It turned out to be a really complicated replacement, due to a lot of difficult job site conditions that weren't expected at the beginning of the job. The pool smart team completed the repair the same day, and everything is working perfectly. Solid choice. Look no further!
