I've never written a Yelp review before but feel compelled to do so here.
If you're thinking about getting your dog trained, please read this.
I first want to emphasize that nobody asked me to write this review. I'm an honest-to-god paying customer, my dog was trained by Get It Done, and this is the truth of my experience.
Short version: Nick and his team are magicians with dogs, and my experience with everyone at Get It Done was completely excellent. If you have a dog, and you want it to be well-trained, a joy to be around, this is the best money you'll ever spend.
I'll say it one more time: this is the best money you'll ever spend.

Longer version:
I brought my dog, Twiggy, to Nick and the folks at Get It Done Dog Training in the fall of 2018.
Twiggy was about 9 months old at the time, and a complete rascal. She was a good-natured pup, but had a range of behaviors that weren't ideal.
For example, she could be leash aggressive, growling (playfully?) at other dogs, and lunging as we passed by. No bueno.
She would run away from me when she was off leash on hiking trails.
She would, uh, eat her own poop sometimes. (Yuck.)
And...after 2 weeks with Nick, that stuff was GONE.
All of it.
OVER.
Magic.

I found out about Nick and Get It Done from a woman at a nearby park here in LA. I would see her walking her Aussie Shepherd off-leash, on a perfect heel. The dog adhered to her beautifully.
I asked her what her secret was. She gave me Nick's number and said, "It's the best money you'll ever spend."
So...I thought about it. And eventually, I sent an email to Nick, talked to him a bit, and...took the plunge.
I signed Twiggy up for the Advanced Obedience Course. I wanted her to be able to walk off-leash, on a perfect heel, just like the dog at the park. No lunging. No growling. No running away.
I gotta admit, part of me was a little skeptical. Two weeks with the dog, and Nick is going to have her fully trained?
(Answer: yep.)
Here's the thing: Nick is a certified Master Trainer. He has trained, literally, hundreds and hundreds of dogs. Service dogs. Police dogs. Problem dogs. You name it.
He has a very rare skill set and range of experiences.
Know this, too: it's not super-cheap. But it's *great* value.
You're paying for a very valuable service, and you should think of it as an investment.
In my view, I got *way* more than my money's worth.
Also know that you, the person/owner/guardian, *do* have to be willing to do some work as well.
Nick and his team can train your dog beautifully--and they will--but in order for the dog to obey *you*, you have to learn how to communicate with it and enforce the commands, etc.
So a simple way of thinking about what to expect:
1.) Your dog goes off with Nick and GIDDT for roughly 2 weeks. During this time, your dog will be trained beautifully and fully.
2.) When this is done, you should expect to work with Nick for about 5 to 10 sessions (about 60 to 90 minutes per) to learn the "language," both verbal and physical, so that your dog will respond to you and know you're in charge.
3.) On your own, you have to be willing to spend about 15 minutes per day, every day--especially there at the beginning--working through the drills/commands that Nick and his team will show you. 15 minutes a day. That's it. It's totally doable.
This is what I did with Twiggy. She now heels beautifully off-leash (even in a busy city), holds her spot command, sit, stay, goes to her crate, responds to non-verbal hand commands, and so on.
It's truly incredible.
Having a dog with whom you have this kind of rapport is *so* much better than having a dog who bugs the crap out of you (and everyone else).
Most dogs live a decade or more. Do you really want to spend those years being frustrated and pissed off on a regular basis?
Get your dog trained. It's the responsible thing to do.
It will improve the quality of your life--your relationship with your dog will bring you great joy.
And it will *definitely* improve the quality of your dog's life.
Dogs who know how to behave are *loved* by people. They get petted more. They get praised more. They're way happier.
Twiggy is literally the happiest dog in town. When we walk (again: perfect heel, on-leash or off), she wags her tail as she goes. It's like a cartoon.

Last but not least: Nick and his team *love* dogs. Twiggy was well-treated and suffered not even the slightest ill effect. In fact, her psychology and attitude have been greatly improved. She now knows what to do, and who the leader is.
That's my two cents. And whatever you do, please ignore any trolls in this thread. They don't know what they're talking about.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a better, more skilled (group of) trainer(s) than Nick and his team.
I give them my very highest and most heartfelt recommendation.
