Get It Darker was recommended by Adrian over at Bonnano Automotive for the installation of a head unit, speakers and rear view camera. I contacted Andy at Get it Darker via text, explained the project and he thought it might take two days. We set up an appointment and brought in our 2010 Prius. Andy thought he might be able to finish the project in one day, but was grateful that we had scheduled two days. At about 8pm, he texted and said that the car was ready! This was great as it made our logistics easy the next day. Andy's install work was flawless, there are no signs of the installation. Andy put the microphone up at the top of the window, which he said resulted in better sound. He also warned us away from trying to retrofit a stock rear view camera as they run on different voltages. Had these guys tint the windows on my ls400 a couple months back. Waited to make sure no bubbles came up or anything else before writing them a review. I had them do all 4 doors, back window, a visor strip on the windshield and even an extra layer of tint on the sun roof glass. They put tint on every pice of glass my car has. I sprung for the fancy ceramic infused tint to help block out uv rays and heat during the summer months- anything to help with a black car. This tint features a lift time warranty. Factory windows on my car offered no tint or privacy at all. I wanted it tinted for comfort, privacy, looks, functionality and protect the leather. Had been meaning to get this done for a couple years and finally pulled the trigger. VERY GLAD I WENT WITH THESE GUYS! I was weary when shopping around and wanted to find a shop with a good reputation that would take care not to damage or mark up my interior, or the unforgiving and aging single stage paint on my car. I more than got what i was after with these guys! They went to the effort to tape off and lay plastic sheeting on the outside of my car during the process. They also go the extra mile to get a clean and seamless install by removing door, trunk deck, and pillar panels prior to installing the tint film- this ensures no un-tinted seams on the glass by the lower gasket edge on the door pannels. I have noticed no missed spots or seams peeking out from under any interior panels as a result. It is much more time consuming to tint auto glass this way, AND NOT ALL SHOPS DO THIS. But these guys do go the extra mile and they got an extremely clean seamless tint install as a result. It looks exactly like factory stained privacy glass, not film tint. No bubbles showed up at all in the days and weeks following. My back window was a daunting task to get properly tented because older toyota's used very wide defroster grid lines on the glass and its very difficult to get the tint to lay flat and work the bubbles out around all those defroster lines. The angle of my back window is also vary challenging to work with too. They were not satisfied with the first attempt and did it all over again before i picked the car up. They explained this to me and told me to keep and eye out for future bubbles to form- in which case the told me they would do it again until they got it just rite. I also brought it to them on a cold November day and cold glass is not as easy to work with in this situation. But nope! No bubbles came up anywhere on the back glass on the defrost lines. They even waited for me to come back and sit in the drivers seat so they could place the windshield visor strip exact to my liking for how i sit in the vehicle. It has also had no negative impact on the functionality for my factory auto tinting mirrors. I will admit I was a picky customer for them, i usually am when it involves anything cosmetic on my car (i have pissed off a body shop service writer before). But these guys were extremely professional and they delivered the first time around! I was shocked at how well it turned out. I got exactly what i wanted. And i found there rates to be extremely reasonable considering they go the more labor intensive route. Taking interior panels out, tinting every piece of glass, getting the back window perfect and getting it all back together is a very involved job. They make it look easy! They handled everything very professionally and i was impressed. I dont think anyone anywhere could have done a better job. Very glad i went with Get It Darker. I even asked for a few business cards to pass to friends before i left. They will be getting my business again. If your looking for a professional tint shop that goes the extra mile for a super clean install to your liking, is careful with there customers vehicles, and stands behind there work- this is the one your looking for. Went to have my 18 Honda Accord tinted and speaker components and an amp I provided. The old faded tint had to be removed and then I had 5 windows tinted. The tint came out great. The attention to detail was definitely noticeable. The price was more than reasonable. As far as the installation of the stereo..He installed my 5 chnl amp, sub, front component speakers, rear 2 ways which ended up having a small issue but was quickly resolved. I went in to get a gift certificate for my kids birthday, (window tint)they did not have anything official to offer. They said they would write something up for me... I also wanted to look at the sound system packages. The girl that was helping me didn't now know ANYTHING about any of their products. In my opinion she makes the business look ridiculous...GOD BLESS HER SOUL, she really tried. Long story short It felt like she was trying desperately to make a sale. I was very confused because there were at least 3-4 men there, that didn't bother helping her at all (I believe it was the owner) and last but not least the bathroom was HORRIBLE!!! It was dirty/stinky, this place definitely needs to clean up there act. Great turn around! They installed my Diode Dynamics RGB DEAL boardscon my 2015 Mustang. The technician was very informative and knows his stuff and sent me pictures and updates on the progress of the job. Dropped it off Thursday morning and it was ready by Friday afternoon. This was not a job I would have handled myself as it involved baking open my headlights and wiring, which by the way was very well hidden and clean. Also informed me that he could have the lights wired so I can have them on while the car is off via the remote. Exactly what I wanted! While they were opened I asked for them to be painted black and it came out stupid clean! I've been turning heads left and right! HOWEVER, they broke the remaining tabs on my bumper so they had to epoxy it back together, I feel they could have offered a better solution to this since if i need to take it off again I'm gonna need to break the epoxy apart. My solution to this would be to install a Quik-Latch which is inexpensive and fully functional. Other than that the lights came out great and the service was superb. I got an after market speakers and subwoofer installed in my car for 2x the amount i could've paid elsewhere and these guys messed it up so bad.
