I've lived in my apartment for 5 years now and the windows have been big thing I wanted clean. I've had a few housekeepers who included it but as time went on they wanted to charge extra. Well I'd rather hire a company that has a specialty in it! So as one does I took to Facebook groups and received a ton of referrals for Get It Clean With Charlene so I contacted Michael through email. I provided snapshots of the windows and he provided me a very fair price. We originally were going to meet last week but my work schedule went crazy. Michael and his assistant came out today and cleaned my windows. They were here about an hour and did an amazing job. They got right to work and worked as a cohesive team. Sadly there was one window with an overlapping pane that was screwed in that he couldn't do in between and did indeed give me a discount which I appreciated! Given how well they worked and amazing the outcome I did return the favor! If I had to add 1 negative to this review though is appointment "time". It was more of a rough time-frame suggestion but I was glad I was still available. But as someone who is fanatical about time management having to make sure to be available during a big time-frame was a little off-putting. Came to our house today and cleaned all windows and window tracks. We have a sunroom so there was a considerable amount of glass to clean. On time and worked in a timely manner, also added a few extras last minute which they willingly did. We are very pleased with the work they did for us. Never use this company! They came out the first time and did a decent job. The second time they were 4 hours late and then literally cleaned only half of what was supposed to be done. They skipped an entire bathroom altogether and then did a very quick "wipe down" of the rest. There was still spilled coffee drips on my floor that they "mopped", urine on the bottom of the toilets, hard water stains on my shower doors, and toothpaste in the sinks of the areas that they did "clean". Literally the only things I had them out for was the bathrooms and the mopping of my downstairs. When I contacted Charlene she made many excuses and wanted to send another crew out. You literally took up my whole Friday already and now you want to send out more people? I just want my money back and can't seem to get it. I am sooo beyond annoyed and disgusted. Where's our refund? This is basically a group of scammers, anything after the initial cleaning is poor, lazy, and late work. The owner refuses to answer after cashing a check that shouldn't have been cashed. These people are shady. read more

Have this company do a regular two week cleaning and started off really good. They covered everything and only missed a little bit. Then as time went by, it became obvious that they were short cutting things more and more. One day I came home after a cleaning day and the cat left a hair ball on the tile floor for me to wipe up and when I did the paper towel was black with dirt. So I got another towel and started wiping areas and they were filthy, not cleaned in weeks it seemed. Every time I asked for something to be cleaned, Charlene would say it was extra, not covered by $120 I paid each visit. Quit them after four months. I can do better myself. read more

I did not have a good experience with this company of almost a year of service. Two top concerns included a lack of attention to detail i.e., baseboards, window seals, visible dirt of cabinet doors, etc. What I struggled with the most was when I requested a new crew given two separate occasions for mophead dings in our brand new refrigerator. My request was to have a new crew given the problem. She called me back to blame my children for the dings and ultimately hung up on me when I questioned her for blaming my children. Hired them for a move out cleaning and was severely disappointed. The women called us late in the evening to tell us the apartment was finished and upon arriving were shocked to see how much hadn't been done. Cupboards weren't wiped off, baseboards weret touched, soap residue left in the tub, and the list goes on and on. When my boyfriend asked them to clean what they missed they began complaining, about EVERYTHING. About cleaning my apartment, their boss, working weekends, their angry husbands at home. I've never been made to feel more uncomfortable. Needless to say, my friend and I had to spend 4 hours cleaning what they missed. When I called to inform Charlene about the awful experience I had, her response was shocking. She first asked for the opportunity to fix it which I agreed to if she sent different people...apparently this wasn't possible. Then she tried to explain how she really wanted me to let the women come back and clean what they missed because "some people will not learn until they are taught a lesson." Excuse me! I am pretty sure the women were adults and I'm pretty sure she is not their mother. I cannot believe how unprofessional Charlene is. After we could not come to agreement she said that she would refund some of the money (although I think it ALL should be refunded) but then would not return my calls. She simply replied with a text of "can't talk now." I have given her since December to fix the situation and she is no where to be found.
