Jumping area (lights were off with two disco balls on)
    Autumn D.

Before committing to this experience, I checked in at the counter and spoke to Kayden regarding the price for the jump. He was friendly! However, after coming inside with my mother and young siblings it was clear quite quickly that the other young man working at the counter (not wearing a name tag) had no interest in being at work. He was not friendly and did not have my mother sign any type of waivers for my young siblings. The building smelled like sweat, which is as to be expected in such a business I suppose. However, the floors were filthy and 2 of the 3 party tables were dirty and no one was there anymore. About 30 minutes into being there, the employee not wearing a name was tossing trash into the van from the tables like it was a game. They cleaned the tables but left the floors full of trash and spilt liquid. Additionally, there were no employees monitoring the trampolines/ climbing obstacles. Considering the cleanliness of the area and lack of overall concern for customer safety, spending $30 for two kids to jump for an hour and a half was a disappointment.

All the cube pits look like this.

Dirty Dirty and Dirty...Also, very gross. Metal pieces exposed in foam cube pits, dust cover nets, electrical wires exposed, smells musty, and holes in the walls. I would not recommend if child is not up to date with their tetanus shot.

One of many swings for the kiddos!

I really liked this place. There are so many different areas to jump and I felt like kids were able to have plenty of space to do their own thing. Check in was really quick. I also liked that I was able to go on the platform area to check on them, even though I was not wearing jumping socks. The only improve would be the lighting, I thought that some areas were a bit dark. Swing into the foam pit was a hit with my kids.

My son had a blast here at a friends birthday party. I like it better than places like jungle George's since adults can play with the kids. Also it's very clean (although we didn't use the restroom so idk about that) the staff was very nice and there were people dressed as referees making sure kids were following rules and staying safe. You do have to pay $2 for special socks plus the fee for being there (not sure how much that is since we were there with a party and didn't have to pay)

NOT SAFE! It is…read moreoverall a fun place, and it will certainly entertain you and you'll get your cardio workout, they do not have safety at the top of the list. Upon arrival, you must e-sign a waiver (for yourself and/or minors). Then, they insist that younger participants must buy socks. The socks do have rubber grips on the bottoms which may be why, but adults are not required to do the same. There are lockers to put your stuff, but no way to lock them unless you brought your own lock. Who the heck brings a lock? So someone has to sit out to guard your stuff. There are 3 trampoline zones. One where you can run and bounce against the walls, get some air and overall have a blast. Second zone is designed for dodgeball but those trampolines are much more droopy and harder to maneuver on. Third zone looks like a foam pit, but it is NOT a foam pit. It's a bunch of foam blocks on top of trampolines. BE CAREFUL in this area, the foam blocks can conceal the steel beams for the trampolines underneath. You may think your headed for a foam space, but land on a support bar. There are support bars everywhere, of course, something has to hold up the trampolines, and they do pad them. Enough? Who knows? The final zone is a great freefall experience. The fall is fun as heck! Drop 20 feet into a giant poofy airbag (which is tricky to get out of). However, the ascent to get to the fall is NOT SAFE. To get up, you have to climb on some "rock wall" style grips (which since you're not allowed shoes are painful and difficult). But the worst part, is that as you try to make the climb, there is a steel rail which you should be able to pull up on to help the painful climb. But this rail is NOT attached to anything. When you go to grab it, and it completely slips, you can easily fall or otherwise hurt yourself. When I brought this to the attention of the staff I was told, "Yeah, we've told our manager a bunch of times, but they never do anything about it." WHAT? All it would take is about one welder an hour to get done. That's like $60. And you can't do this one little thing?! Overall it was fun, but the negatives will cause me to not return. The climb to the freefall, both the rail and the steps, concern me that management truly does not care. #NotSafe #OSHAviolation #ConsumerSafety #USCPSC

The party planning wasn't difficult and mostly through email. We paid extra for a room and honestly, I'm glad I did it! When it was getting too chaotic and loud in the play area, it was nice to have a place where it was a little calmer. It's easy to lose track of where the kids can roam and the ongoing colored lights don't help. There are so many things to do at Urban Air and there are also premium activities (which we didn't purchase). It is not cheap to book a party there and everything is an additional price. You get 2 pizzas and there is a capacity limit of 10 before you get charged for additional guests. Water bottles are included, but if you want other drinks, it is also a charge. My daughter enjoyed her party so much, but my wallet took a beating!

Within…read more30 minutes, I was at the register purchasing a $157 monthly pass (4 months) for the toddler area. I was impressed enough that I texted three friends photos, told my wife to start planning our son's birthday party here, and was actively asking managers about upgrading to full access because I had just discovered the larger "Adrenaline" area. For context: it's Indiana winter, it was cold, and I had a hooded sweatshirt on with the hood up because I was freezing. During my 2 1/2-hour stay, I spoke with two managers about memberships--neither said a word about my hood. While walking around trying to keep up my child, I heard someone off to the side say, "Take your hood off." I approached the man, who asked me politely. I politely asked why it was a rule. His response was shocking: "So I can see your entire face on my 50 cameras." This was 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, not a packed weekend night. I turned away to continue looking for my child, removed the hood, and muttered "whatever dude" under my breath. That's when the situation escalated wildly. He charged toward me, yelling: "I'm the owner--if you don't like it, leave!" I had already complied. That wasn't enough. He then shouted: "I'll give you your money back!" And finally said something that truly crossed a line: "If there are off-colored people with hoods up and we ask them to take it down, what would that look like?" I'm still trying to understand why race was brought into this at all. Let me be clear: * The facility is great for kids * The staff and managers were wonderful * We were not leaving anytime soon until this happened But the owner's behavior was aggressive, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate. A simple rule explanation would've sufficed. Instead, it turned into a power trip with racial commentary that had no place in the conversation. Rules are rules--but how you enforce them matters. I'll take the refund. And I'll take my business elsewhere.
