Every staff member we encounter has been wonderful and very hardworking. We went on Friday, as soon as they opened to avoid the crowds and just enjoy being outside. It was $15 per person to get it in, not horrible. There is a petting zoo, and I think the food to feed them is like a quarter, in the little turn machines. There is a big bounce pad for kids, which I believe is included in the price of admission and a train for kids. There are food trucks additional cost obviously , a slide, corn maze and photo ops. It was a beautiful day. We love all the pumpkin and gourds. All our pumpkins was around $60 and I'll include photos of the lot of them! 10/10 recommend! I do believe they do something for Christmas as well, we will have to check that out!

Got the tree home and it was the pokiest tree I've ever felt in my life. Ouch, ouch, ouch! That was all that was heard while decorating it. By the time I was done with the lights I had tiny scrapes all over my arms. And then there was the shedding. Every single day I had to clean up needles. It's been gone for weeks and I've just accepted they have become a part of my house because they're still everywhere. I'm not sure if they had cut it a while ago and it was just so dead by the time it got to us or WHAT happened here, but it was really awful. $75 to get cut up arms and sweeping under it every single day??? The reindeer are cool but I'm not sure we'll come back again.

Our annual Christmas tree hunt goes not farther than Schilter Family Farm…read more The Thanksgiving week end usually slams this tree farm. However, we always find a quality Noble fir if even we have to hunt a bit. This year was REALLY unusual. The Monday after T Day we went with the idea we'd have to spend time searching. The most helpful young man pointed us to a new field of Nobles. And there, no more than 10 feet in from the path was IT (visions of Clark Griswold!). There were countless more even after that Turkey Day rush. The same man came by in his tractor and asked if he could cut it down for us. He had a chain saw. I had a hand saw. No brainer!! The service and selection are first class. Topping this off is the gift shop, where you pay, has all sorts of Christmas related things, including fresh wreaths (which we bought)

This location offered precut trees, however, we visited this place to specifically cut our own tree down. We didn't explore far, although, the place looked fairly big. We were able to find our perfect tree about 10 minutes in so no further walking was needed. Unlike other popular u-cut locations, it didn't have the frills, which is totally fine. As long as the workers are kind and quick, we are all good! They did offer hot cocoa and hot coffee, which was a bonus as the day we visited, it started to rain. On our visit, we were the only people there, which was convenient for us. But, this may be because it was a rainy day. Though, as we were getting ready to leave, more families started to come. The price of the u-cut trees were quite high but I know that there are driving factors that are causing prices to go up.
