Despite paying a hefty sum and investing significant time, my order remains incomplete. The jackets I received were riddled with defects, reflecting poorly on their craftsmanship. Attempting to communicate with the owner has been futile. Despite my persistent efforts over six months, I've received nothing but empty promises and excuses. Their lack of accountability and failure to provide timely updates is utterly unacceptable. The quality of their work is abysmal compared to other tailors I've patronized. I've found superior quality suits at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Germanicos' incompetence reached its peak when they failed to deliver my wedding suit on time, despite ample notice and constant reminders. In light of my experience, I strongly advise against entrusting Germanicos Tailoring with any important clothing needs. Their consistent failure to meet expectations and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a more reputable tailor elsewhere. read more

I am an international business man and travel the world for 8 months of the year for work. I travel to warm climates but also to cold climates. I needed suits that fit me well but also travelled well , non crease. At the same time needed suits that would breath in the hot climates like Dubai, but also keep me warm in the cool climates of Canada. Whilst on a business trip to Melbourne I was recommended to Germanicos from the concierge at the Windsor hotel where I was staying. He said they were they best in the country and the service would be exceptional. I only had time for a few fittings in Melbourne, then the suits and shirts were finished and shipped to me in São Paolo Brazil for free! The fit was immaculate and the style and fabric amazing, they even embroidered inside the suit (warm) for the hot climates and (cold) for the colder climates to help me when packing. I initially tried to find a tuxedo for my wedding off the rack. Some were ok but none quite perfect in the fit and I didn't want to compromise on my wedding tuxedo. I then decided to go to a bespoke tailor and ended up choosing Germanicos out of the few I visited. John and Michael from the Melbourne boutique are legends, they truly know their work. We had a long 2 hour session of selecting fabrics (I ended up choosing a Zegna fabric), taking measurements and designing the tuxedo every single aspect. Was a great experience in itself! The result after a few fittings was the most immaculate tuxedo I had ever seen led alone worn and the Zegna top of the line fabric I chose (i'll post a pic of the bunch) was the softest most luxurious fabric I have ever worn. I got a million compliments on the day and it was very comfortable to wear and made me feel so confident on my special day. I Cannot recommend Germanicos Melbourne more highly! read more

I signed up to Yelp because I wanted to give my gratitude to this company. I have been wearing suits professionally for 25 years. Most of them off the rack and a few made to measure suits in Hong Kong on my travels in between. I am proud to say I have finally found heaven when it comes to my professional attire. Not only are my Germanicos suits the best fitting I have ever owned, they are also stitched perfectly and the fabric just feels so luxurious to wear. Every time I wear my suits and I mean EVERY time I am getting compliments which is strange as I never used to get many compliments! The suits make me feel confident and on top of the world. I am left handed and the tailor called it in the first minute, I knew I was in experienced and capable hands then! I've had Germanicos suit commissioned and I must say the suit fit was the best I've ever had. I was fitted by a guy called John and he is exceptional , so knowledgeable and really understood the parts of the jacket where I've had issues in the past with fit and he eradicated them. I got a suit from the top range which is full canvas . The cheaper ones there are not made in Australia he said they make them in Portugal to keep the costs lower and they are half canvassed. Where the top range is a full canvas bespoke suit and made in Melbourne. A great experience and product overall read more

Immaculate fit and length I like it just below the knee and the cashmere fabric is so soft and keeps you so warm as well for winter .
