Sooooo impressed with this dentist office! It's very clean and the staff are so very nice. My digital X-rays were taken right from the comfort of the dental chair. I was offered something to drink more than once. The exam given by the friendly dentist was thorough. I felt he was very honest concerning my needs and what was best, which is the MOST IMPORTANT trait in a dentist that I look for (and that's because I've been to a few dishonest dentists in the past, only want to make $$ on unnecessary procedures). I was explained in detail the benefits my insurance provided by the sweet office manager. They have flexible payment plans as well. Another things that impressed me was the fact that every dental procedure you could ever need if performed right there.. no need to go elsewhere or get referrals! Avoid Ecco Dental - Unprofessional Staff, Outrageous Pricing, and Dishonest Practices I do not recommend Ecco Dental to anyone seeking ethical, transparent, or professional dental care. My recent experience trying to get care for my son has been beyond frustrating and deeply concerning. My son is in pain and needs his wisdom teeth removed. I spoke to Silvia, the office manager, who assured me she would contact our insurance and provide an estimate. Days later, she emailed me a quote that raised red flags. When I checked the exact procedure codes on my insurance company's website, I discovered she was charging the full 70%--which is what insurance is supposed to pay--directly to me, the patient. This made it seem like they were billing both me and the insurance the same amount, potentially engaging in double-dipping. When I called the Glendora office to get clarity, the staff said I had to speak with Silvia. She wasn't in, but the front desk casually explained that "this is just the price we feel like charging," and if insurance pays more, they'll refund the patient. That's not how transparent billing or honest medical practice should work. I tried contacting Silvia again, this time at their Claremont Smiles office. Not only was she evasive, but when asked to explain the pricing, she suddenly claimed she needed to speak to the regional manager, Ariana. I reminded her that she is the office manager--yet she couldn't answer a basic question and delayed the conversation for another week. When she finally responded via email, she said my son needed to come in person for an estimate, more than a week after I originally reached out and after acknowledging my son's pain. I asked to see the billing breakdown from my husband's previous oral surgery (also done at this office) to compare. My husband was sitting next to me and verbally authorized Silvia to speak to me. She refused to proceed unless he repeated a very specific sentence she demanded, even though I had already explained the request clearly. Once again, she deflected responsibility to Ariana, and when I asked for Ariana's contact information, Silvia hung up on me. The lack of professionalism, the runaround, and the shady billing practices are unacceptable. I will be reporting Ecco Dental to my insurance company. Patients deserve honest communication and ethical care, not to be misled or dismissed when they're trying to help their child in pain. Steer clear of Ecco Dental. You deserve better. read more

Probably the worst dental office you could go to or choose. Staff is beyond unprofessional. They don't really listen to you or your dental needs/concerns. They only care about pushing the price up & getting as much money as they can. And if you decline or raise questions or concerns, they bully you into signing these pricey, unnecessary procedures & do it very aggressively. Even if you have insurance which covers a lot, they still try to make you pay thousands out of pocket. Extremely dishonest people here. They remind me of used car salesman. How these ppl are still in business, I don't know. Sadly, I didn't look at the dentist's qualifications or lack thereof beforehand. Look at that, where he studied, do your research & avoid this place at all costs. I hope you don't have to go thru what my wife & I did. I recently was in so much pain due to my wisdom tooth and when I went to go have my procedure done I was a bit nervous, but doctor made everything fine. He cared about me and wanted to make sure I was comfortable my experience doing it was great absolutely no pain doctor is great, the office was amazing if you ever need to get your wisdom tooth out I'd recommend coming here! read more

Very disappointed with this dental office. My son had veneers put on 4 years ago and spent thousands of dollars. One of them came off and he had to go back to fix and we were told that I had to pay another $1200 to replace the veneer. They told us it was one year warranty and that was a lie. The veneer popped off several times and went back to fix and charging my son more money to put back on. The room that they put him in was way in the back and needless to say he caught a bad cold, which I'm sure it was due to lack of sanitizing their equipment properly. Also the receptionist at the front named Priscilla is rude!! She should not be at the front. My daughter has also had issues with this place. I do not recommend this place and I will not be going back there! read more

I got referred to Dr. German, by a friend and she insisted I use this Dr. as she has known my struggle. I've been deathly afraid of the dentist for over 10 years now. Due to this fear, I've sat in so many dentist chairs, and I can finally say I found the one that gives me peace and the service I deserve. When I called to make the appointment, I explained my reasons for being afraid, along with many questions regarding their procedures. The receptionist was really attentive and patient with me, she had Dr. German call me to answer the questions she couldn't. On my first visit, Dr. knew all about me and my previous experiences and patiently answers all my questions once again. Everyone that I encounter on my first visit was easy-going and they guided me step by step of what they were doing. From the x-rays, to the initial exam, Dr. German. or his assistant stopped to ensure I was ok -my fear constitutes of incontrollable shaking when I sit in a dental chair- and because of this, I decided to give them a try. Once the initial exam was completed, they sat me down and explained all of the work I needed done. I was expecting plenty as I haven't been able to go to a dentist for a while. My list of work included, two root canals, cavities, cavities cover replacement, two crowns, just to name a few. They gave me a list of priorities and cost associated with the treatments. I have now been going to this Dentist since February and I'm almost half way done with my work. I can't be more pleased, everyone involved has been kind and attentive to all of my needs without any hesitation. I now take my two children and will be recommending anyone that needs a good dentist. I went into this office with the same fearful expectations as always, and the result is that now, I'm a faithful customer. read more

Do NOT go to this dental office!! We had a consultation for braces and after the shock of $5500 we decided to go to another provider for a 2nd opinion. We then decided to go with the other provider and went to Ecco to cancel braces with their office. We waited over 5 minutes to speak with the front office she walked past and saw us but went into another room so we left. We then called did not get an answer so left a voicemail message to return the call. Nothing. 3rd day sent an email directly to their front office requesting to cancel and to please contact regarding a refund. Still nothing. So unprofessional even after numerous attempts have been made!! We will be contacting our insurance and credit card companies at this point as we have no choice. **Update I was informed by their front office person after we went in AGAIN that the funds were used for fillings and could not be refunded, which we did NOT authorize! They said if we could provide quote from the other provider they could match it. SERIOUSLY?!? It is insane that they charge THOUSANDS more once you shop around and get other quotes. They give you all the time and attention when they are attempting to get your money, but once they have it you are completely ignored!! Dispute filed, now we wait for our refund. Truly sad and the WORST experience at a dental office we have ever had. read more

I was drawn to this office because of their proximity to my house. I read the reviews and thought, why not give them a try. Dr Jacquez is very professional and did a complete exam. So far, so good. His dental hygienist also did a great job cleaning my teeth. So much for the good stuff. After my appointment, I was ushered into, what I can only say was, the closers office. Reminded me of trying to buy a new car. I was given a sheet of paper that showed that I needed over $7000.00 worth of dental work. I told them that I would think about it but wanted to get an old filling replaced. My insurance is a PPO and covers replacing old fillings at 100%. But the office person said it would cost me $175.00 out of pocket. So I checked with my insurance again and was told it should cost nothing, out of pocket, to replace an old filling. Called the dental office back and was told that they had made a mistake and that the replacement would be covered by my insurance. No out of pocket charge. Great! Ok... stay with me, It gets better. I show up for my appointment and the office people are all smiles and I'm ready for my procedure. Oops, no so fast. I'm now shown a new piece of paper showing that my out of pocket charge will be $142.00. But, I protest, you said it would be covered 100% by my insurance. Oh, they say, this charge is for a special lotion oil or liquid the doctor places under the new replaced filling. But I'm assured that I don't have to get this oil lotion or liquid if I don't want it. So I say, I don't want it. Fine, she says. She then goes on to tell me that my tooth may be sensitive after the procedure. WHAT? Sounded like she was telling me that if I don't buy this lotion oil or liquid, the filling would not take or worse, my tooth would be sensitive. SO, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? I told the office person that I thought they were only out to get as much money out of me as they could and then I walked out. The irony is..they sent me a thank you card. Go figure. I have been to 15 other dentists. 15! This has been the only dental office I am actually happy to visit. Everything is clean, the waiting room has cookies and coffee, the chairs inside are equipped with Netflix! So, wether you're waiting in the Doctors chair or in the waiting room, you wont mind lol Everyone is soooo friendly. Ariana is extremely helpful and has a great personality. On my first visit she gave me a tour of the office and made me feel super welcome. She does not force me to do anything I am not ready to do, plus she shows me what the main priorities are when I need work done on my teeth.(which is great because some other offices make you feel like you're a walking dollar sign and want to rip you off). Dr. German is so knowledgeable and reassuring. He really cares about prevention and is super honest. He will straight up tell you that something is more cosmetic and not necessary to be done on your teeth. I really feel safe knowing that I will not be lied to and ripped off. The comfort I feel when I visit this office is worth something money cannot buy. I definitely recommend! read more

We found a coupon in a smoothie store that advertised a better kind of dentistry. My wife and I tend to distrust dentist as we do mechanics. It is hard to find a dentist that takes his time and has your best interest in mind. We certainly found this in Dr. Jacquez and his staff. They get what a patient-client expects from an excellent dental office. We do not have dental coverage, so it was pricey, nevertheless we feel that we paid for a VERY clean office, VERY patient and friendly staff and a VERY competent, fair and committed dentist. Dr.Jacquez was very sweet and clear in explaining our dental needs both immediate and future. He spoke Spanish which made it easier and more personable to me for Im a native spanish speaker.
