This was one of the best bureaucratic processes I have ever experienced. The location was relatively easy to find and I was out within the hour, which was perfect because I did street parking in front of the building. Upon entering the consulate office, I went through a metal detector and also had to put my phone in a cubby with a key. I did not have to wait long and was immediately processed by the time of my appointment. The woman helping me out was incredibly patient and thoughtful while also answering my questions and providing information. I went in for a work visa and received my passport back in the mail within a week and this is during a holiday as well.

Very efficient and speedy process in getting a new (German) passport. Everyone there was very friendly, except the man handling my paperwork. I wish I'd have known the consulate was on the 5th floor, as the doorman just pointed to the elevator, but didn't bother telling me which floor the consulate was on. And fiy, don't bother taking the stairs...the doors to each floor are locked.

    Feeling so German today.

We would definitely stay here again . These are suites -so the rooms are larger than most single hotel rooms, Lobby is nice and roomy with a 2-story water feature with small water falls. Rooms open onto the open center of the hotel so there are no dark hallways. Elevators are glassed toward the open lobby area so they are well lighted and have interiors visible from the lobby. The breakfast is well stocked and even has a staff member making omelets. Our only complaint is that the breakfast hours end at 9 during the week,so it's not great for travelers who arrive late in the evening from the islands or elsewhere.

Rooms are spacious with nice bathroom facilities. I think they've upgraded recently. Free evening reception gives you two drinks on the house. My favorite part is the way to order breakfast in the morning. There are many buffet style options there, but they will make you eggs or omelettes to order. Parking is secure in an underground lot so that is cool too. People are mostly friendly and helpful and they have a cool robot maid/Butler that will bring things to your room.

Last night, during winter, I turned on the heat in our room and waited 35-40 minutes for it to come on. Nothing. I called the front desk and was told that the entire hotel is switched to air during the day, then placed on a "hiatus," and that heat is not available until around 10:00-10:30 PM. I had to repeat this back to the staff member because I could not believe what I was hearing -- I was told that guests cannot control the heat in their own rooms and must wait until the hotel decides to turn it on for everyone. The answer was yes. I called again around 10:30 PM because we still had no heat. The person I spoke to said she had just come on duty and would check. The heat finally came on around 11:15-11:20 PM, only to shut back off at approximately 2:00 AM. When I called the front desk again, no one answered. My husband and I were forced to sleep under covers wearing our coats and clothes, freezing the rest of the night. I am now sick, likely from being cold all night. I contacted Expedia and was told the hotel has a strict no-refund policy, so now I have to wait for the hotel to decide whether they will "allow" a refund of the $220 room charge, while my $150 incidental deposit will take 5-7 business days to be returned. Even the travel insurance I purchased (which I buy every time) does not cover this situation. Expedia attempted to contact the hotel and could not reach them, so now I am stuck going back and forth hoping someone eventually responds. This hotel has five floors. We were in Room 468. Are guests seriously expected to accept that they cannot use heat or air in their own rooms until the hotel "pushes a button" for the entire building? No matter how cold or hot it is, you wait. What makes this even more concerning is that when we checked in, the hotel was full of older guests (60s, 70s, even 80s) preparing for a cruise. I sincerely hope everyone was okay overnight, because if we were freezing, I can't imagine how they felt. Do not book this hotel. The lack of temperature control, accountability, and basic guest comfort is unacceptable. This experience was beyond ridiculous.

I was able to get my room fast. When I entered, my room was very cold so I attempted to warm it and the heat wasn't working. I waited over 40 minutes for someone to come to my room, and to only just be given a space heater. At one point someone told me the air can't be adjusted as the air is centrally controlled and can't be adjusted in the room. I haven't been in a hotel where the air in an individual room can't be adjusted. Additionally, the paint in my tub was peeled. This shouldn't a standard for a Hilton hotel, let alone a hotel. Inn maybe , but not a hotel. Very disappointed and feels like I wasted money and couldn't even be comfortable.

Love their lobby as they have a koi pond which the kids can feed in Tuesdays. They have a great made-to-order continental breakfast. They also have an awesome happy hour of 2 complimentary drinks to go along with some snacks like popcorn, chips, nuts, etc. Staff were all friendly and helpful when needed. The parking is underground. A little inconvenient as the parking elevator is separate from the room elevators. Also it felt like only 1 or 2 of the elevators were working. Ice machine was only located on the 2nd floor. Would've been nice if there was one at every floor or more than just 1 floor. Also the drink vending machine was always sold out. These are why I dropped 1 star. But overall, my family and I really enjoyed this hotel for our vacation and will most likely be back for our next vacation in the area.

Let's cover the pros and cons: Pro #1: It's a pet-friendly hotel. It's not free to bring pets, and it's not cheap to bring your cat or dog, but it's not as bad as other places. Con #1: You have to pay $28 per day for self-parking in the lot underneath the hotel. I hate paying for parking at a hotel. Pro #2: They have complimentary breakfast and it's better than your typical continental breakfast at a hotel. There's an omelet station, scrambled eggs, bacon, pork sausage, pancakes or French toast (depending on the day), bread (bagels, English muffins, and toast), fruit, cereal, various pastries, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee, and more. Pretty solid. Con #2: There's a lot of noise as the hotel is located on a popular street in Glendale and it's close to the highway. At least my room was noisy. I had to wear earplugs each night (I'm a light sleeper). Pro #3: The rooms are suites so they're more spacious than your typical hotel room. There's a bedroom with a door and a nice living room area with a mini fridge and a microwave. Con #3: Some service snafus. I checked in digitally and I was supposed to have a virtual key card. It didn't work as there was an issue with the app. I requested some towels and they said they would bring them up to my room. They never did. I had to call back and they brought them up this time (though they brought a different number of towels than what I requested. Pro #4: They have a complimentary happy hour from 5:30-7:00 p.m. where each guest can get two alcoholic beverages (wells, beer, and wine). They also have some light bites such as chips and salsa/guac, pita bread and hummus, snack mix, or crostini (depending on the day). Con #4: The rooms are pretty clean and comfy, but they could be nicer. Case in point: an old hand towel was in between my mattress and the mattress box. All in all, a slightly above average experience. Without the expensive parking fees and lower pet fees, that would make a positive difference.

Loud music yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. We contacted the front desk again and they already knew which room it was but did nothing about it. Finally, we called again and they said they evicted them and they were giving them a chance to leave. An hour later after they told us that they finally called the police and took care of the problem. What a horrible night it was. The management knew about the problem at 8 o'clock at night and did nothing about it until 1 o'clock in the morning. My suggestion to you is to replace the nighttime staff. They all said they were gonna do stuff. Nobody took care of anything. After multiple complaints, they finally got their ass in gear I cannot believe the Hilton puts their name on a place like this. The manager could've stopped this commotion at 9 o'clock through 1 AM and did absolutely nothing. All rooms were complaining. He must've been on his phone the whole night. Who lets a party last for five hours. This is supposed to be a Hilton. They need to change this Hotel to Downey Motel. What a joke. When you're dealing with any government agency I find it best to be prepared. Understand the…read moreprocess and what is needed, especially what docs you need to present. With AI technology quickly becoming more prevalent many government agencies are not allowing walk ins except for certain cases. You will be required to make an appointment. We found this to be true with the Consulate here. In the state of California there are only 2 locations. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea can be found in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The San Francisco office also consuls over Colorado, Utah and Wyoming while the Los Angeles office includes Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. We needed to renew a Korean passport. After visiting the website we found the steps fairly easy to follow. For any other office it is best to check their own respective websites. The steps are not standard and can be entirely different. We made an online appointment through the 365 Overseas Korean Portal. The appointment was 1.5 weeks away. I thought it would be much further out but thankful for the shorter time. You then need to fill out their form and submit that. It's basic information and what it is you're trying to do. Simple. With that set we went through the steps again to make sure we had the proper documents needed. In this case your Korean passport a valid U.S. passport/Green Card/Visa. You also need your Driver's License and work permits. They wanted photo copies. Luckily they have a copy machine there for 25cents a copy. Not bad just remember to bring quarters. You will also need a passport size photo taken by a professional. This part use to erq me. If you don't have that, this consulate has a photo booth on the premises for you to take that photo. And it's free of charge. When you sit in the booth it tells you what to do. Tilt your head up, turn to the left, etc. It was great. This office only accepts cash, and had to be the exact amount. Found that strange. Not sure if that's true for all the others and is best to check those websites. The good thing is this office has a change machine. It's best to figure what fees you need to pay, and what the total is so you know what the exact amount is. We brought this with us and extra cash in case there would be something surprisingly we would have to pay for. That didn't happen. It also adivses to bring a self addressed express mail envelope for them to mail your passport . In our case, however, that option was not available.. How that was going to be handled would have to wait till the appointment. Right next to the consulate is a parking lot. It is not free unless you have an appointment with the consulate and you get your ticket validated. Fulfill those 2 requirements and your parking is free. If not be prepared to pop some twenties. Not sure if they give change. It is also important to note this office closes at noon to break for lunch. So, plan your visits accordingly or you could be waiting longer than you like. Our appointment was at 11:00 to 11:30. We got there at 11:11 on a Wednesday. Once you're in there you need to make the copies you need. We did. Get your photo. We did and it was actually fun. Then, you can take a number to be qued. There were 4 people before us not all were renewing passports. And only 2 tellers. The reviews talk badly about teller #2. She was not there. And they talked sweetly of number 7. He was not there either. When our number was called I was surprised we waited only 26 minutes. We presented our documents and stated what my wife needed. The agent started going through the paper work, clattering away filling in digital forms and documents and glancing at other references to ensure she was doing everything correctly. And in 9 minutes it was done. She said everything was good and needed to return on a specific date to pick up the passport. If we cannot pick it up that day, we could pick it up any other day they are open. We would not need to stand in line just go to the front teller to request it and it would be there. I guess the brown bag of food was not needed. This whole process may seem confusing and frustrating but in taking the time to review it was easier than expected. The steps\instructions were very clear. The copy machine, change machine and photo booth were big pluses. The agents were nice and pleasant. Why can't they all be like this?

Pros: - spacious rooms aka suites with living room and 2 tvs per room (the one in my bedroom…read morewouldn't turn on though) - comfortable beds - bright lobby area that gets a lot of sunshine - free breakfast and cocktail hour with snacks during certain hours (included pizza the day I went) - provide free water bottles at the front desk if you're a loyalty member - Ubers arrive here very quickly - fast elevators - heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi (I didn't get to try them but appreciate that they are available) - fridge and microwave available in the rooms Cons: - shower curtains were damaged and some colleagues I stayed here with reported the same - how expensive could these be to replace!? - body wash, lotion, and hand wash provided have a strong masculine scent - hair dryer sucked up my hair and got caught - the room did not have a fresh smell when I checked in - colleagues that stayed here reported toilet overflow issues, but I did not experience this personally - no great food or coffee options in lobby - elevators have glass walls and made me nauseous as someone that gets motion sick (they go really fast!) - the toilet paper irritated my skin - the fridge in the room froze all my items no matter what setting I put the dial to - this ruined some things - normal concierge / housekeeping tasks weren't available past a certain hour - I asked for more clothes hangers soon after checking in around 10 pm and was told staff was gone for the night and they'd be delivered in the morning and I said to leave them outside the door if I didn't answer - they never came - most of all: the front desk clerk checking me in was chatty but made an insulting comment when making small talk about whether I'd ever been to either Disney park and I said no - he said I was a "deprived child" which was totally uncalled for, unprofessional, and that alone is why I knocked off a star when otherwise I had a pretty good time here. Do better, Frank - you know nothing about me and your "joke" wasn't funny in the least bit. Front desk staff was never friendly and only slightly helpful here, not the service you'd expect from somewhere so close to Disney and in vacation central. Rude!!

I stayed at this location for few days, during the last week of March 2026, with my 6 year old son…read moreand it was a nightmare. In short, this hotel is not kids friendly. Not anybody friendly. Poorly operated. Stay away!!! First problem was the bathtub. Who puts a razor sharp edged in the shower? The bathtub was awkwardly connected to a stone seat ... that was designed for a shower. It looked like the tiles on the edge of the seat came straight out of the tile cutter, with perfectly sharp edges, that can cut fruits! Who sign off this? Where was the hotel manager? My son slipped and hit the edge on the back of his head, thought the hair, and we had to make a late night visit to an emergency room. The cut was so bad that the doctor had to staple it. Secondly, the A/C was pointed directly at the bed, causing extremely strong wind. At the same time the thermostat was in another room. The bedroom was oscillating between freezing wind and overheating. It was almost impossible to sleep at night. This ruined my whole trip to LA. Lastly the window in the bedroom did not open. The night was cool. I would be ok with just ventilating the room. This is really sad because I have been pretty frequent customer at Hilton last year. I even stay this exact chain (Embassy Suites) recently and the hotel did not have any of these issues. It is possible that this particular location is just poorly operated and the manager should be fired. I'm not going to give Hilton another chance. Going back to staying at Marriott. Never had safety issues with Marriott. Stay away until serious changes are made. Reconsider loyalty to Hilton brand.

Small fitness center with treadmill, eliptical, bicycle and weights. Sad selection of evening reception food. Chatted with customer service at 230 pm prior to arrival and received a pushback of hotel room digital key. I am a loyal Hilton member, what's the point of being a Gold member if the customer service as lowsy as motels and had to wait in line for checking in. Ordered extra bed, $20 a night, waited for two and half hour and still not delivered. Clogged shower with water pooling. Annoying Hilton employee walking around hotel lobby during evening reception soliciting to buy Grand Vacations making relaxing, reading my book impossible. Ordered burger and took 30 min for food to come out and my son was the only one ordering. Next day we went for breakfast, long line for made to order breakfast. Yogurt left out in a bowl with no cover. It was okay. Fitness and pools are empty since it is morning. So thats a plus. Hopefully finally it turns to be a better stay today.

The interior of the hotel looks kept but the bedroom was musky and outdated. The phones worked upon arrival and I had requested for extra blankets and towels. After hours of waiting and no linens, I tried using the phone again to only find that both phones went dead. I ended up using the house phone to follow up mybrequest. They offered maintenance to come but it was already 10pm and everyone was already asleeped. We were so tired from a long drive from the bay area that we barely paid attention to the room on our first night. Next morning, I find my pajamas dirty with melted chocolate and later found M&Ms scattered around the edges the room. No one had brought candy on this trip by the way. Breakfast was okay. Incredibly long line and wait for the omelette station. I appreciated the app and the contact less check in and out process.
