($5 for a raisin pie; $1 for a hand pie; 40 cent cinnamon rolls; hard to resist - also plastic clamshells of 20 different types of homemade candy, largely chocolate-covered confections and various nut brittles - very clean labels). The second part was the installation. The crew started with installing the counters and sinks in the bathrooms. Next they began working on the kitchen. During the installation, the installer received a phone call that his wife began ill and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He took the time to make sure the plumbing connections could be made, so we wouldn't be left with a kitchen that couldn't be used before he left. Part 3, Codi the installation manager came to expertly put the final touches on the install. The counters look beautiful. In the end, the counters and sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen look great and most importantly the installers wife is on the mend. We would recommend Stone Innovations for your counter/remodeling needs.

We hired Mad City to install a single, plain front door. The salesperson was excellent and assured…read moreus the door would be custom made, high quality, and equipped with an advanced locking mechanism for added security. We were also told the door would have a bottom seal designed to block outside air completely. Based on these representations, we believed we were purchasing a premium $9,000 door. What we received was extremely disappointing. The door looked like a standard door you could buy at Home Depot, not a high-end custom product. The door itself was warped, and although the installer was very professional and clearly skilled, he spent three full days trying to make the door work properly. The locking mechanism, which runs the full length of the door, was also warped--sticking out on one side and recessed on the other, making the defect very noticeable. Mad City returned three separate times to attempt to correct the issue, but each attempt required removing and reinstalling the hardware. As a result, the door became damaged from repeated screw and handle removals. After these failed attempts, Joe, the site manager, told us this was "as good as it gets" and stated that if we wanted a new door, we would have to pay another $9,000. This was completely unacceptable. I escalated the issue to higher management, and once they reviewed the photos, they agreed the door was defective and approved ordering a replacement. Unfortunately, when the replacement door arrived, it already had a notch on the front near the handle, and the locking mechanism was still warped and not flush with the door. Joe then suggested having the installer once again attempt to remove and adjust the mechanism. At that point, we refused. We were not willing to go through the same damaging process again or accept another compromised door. in order to get this resolved, I need to contact the manufacturer and have them send a letter stating their doors are not defective and below standards. I would not recommend Mad City nor will I ever use them again once I get my issue resolved.

Immediately the phone calls started on a Sunday afternoon and for the next 24 hours I recieved 24 calls. Surprise they were all local #s except for 1, hard to imagine since they are not located in Mid Missouri. Theyd call, I wouldn't answer, they'd call right back. I called the # I had and told the salesman that it just cost them the job. If you cant manage your phones I can't trust you to manage a bath installation. I had to give them a star rating just to post this, obviously 1 star is too much

You'd think for the cost of their work, bath planet would be more conscientious about correcting…read moremistakes. The shower door of our new shower wouldn't stay open. It took months to hear back from them and weeks to get someone out to fix it. The fix? A couple of little pieces of plastic snapped off from something and used as a shim. Now just scarce months later, they are falling out. On top of that, the floor of the shower is developing black stains despite using the method to clean that the salesman recommended. The salesman said that even though they were expensive, you get what you pay for. Given the issues we have had in the first year, we could have gotten equal quality and better customer service for far less cost.
