Quick turnaround time on delivery and they had a great Memorial Day sale. My first refrigerator didn't fit, so we had to order another one, and that delivery time was also quick. Salesman Adam was very knowledgeable. read more

I went to Gerhards to buy a Wolf gas range, however I was told they were 8 months out. The salesman recommended an LG, " the LG is almost as good for 1/3 the price", he said. I purchased the LG, fortunately I purchased the extended warranty. The problems started almost immediately, the oven racks kept popping out of the tracks, the sent me new racks. The oven would not get hot I kept getting error messages, after several tries it would start to get hot but it would take 15-20 minutes to get to temperature (375). It also would not get to set temperature, yet the display said it had. After complaining that the new racks did not solve the issue new racks were ordered and a technician came to the house. After spending 30 minutes to no avail, he declared it a very poor design that it could not be repaired. Thank God I bought the warranty as I got my money back less the cost of the warranty and sales tax, which was $700. I looked up the LG ranges online, sadly after I bought it, and all my issues were mentioned in the customer reviews. I will never shop at Gerhards again as the salesman I had cannot be trusted. I also will never buy and LG product. read more

I had a very good experience with Gerhard's. I needed a new refrigerator and because it was a built in, I had strict size requirements. Gerhard's had the one I needed in stock when no one else did. I was relieved that they delivery here to Central New Jersey, closer to NYC, even though they are outside of Philadelphia. I followed up with them when I was concerned that the measurements of the new fridge might be slightly off, and they double checked and assured me the new one would fit, which it did. I am putting four stars instead of five only because it was difficult to get someone on the phone. I ended up using the chat function on the web site and communicated with a real person, but I would have preferred speaking to someone on the phone. Thank you, Gerhard's, I now have a very nice and most importantly, a working fridge that fits into my kitchen. read more

Spent over 30,000 with them. My new stove stopped working, it's been 2 1/2 weeks, dozens of phone calls, talking with at least 6 people and still not even an estimated service date. At this point, even though it's under warranty I'm so frustrated with the BS that I'm just going pay someone to fix it. read more

I purchased a refrigerator that arrived DOA. Gerhard's worked quickly to contact the manufacturer and got a OK to exchange it. They delivered the new unit in two days. I also purchased two air conditioners and received an excellent price. You can't go wrong when you go to Gerhards read more

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. After having our new washer and dryer installed on a Tuesday, we noticed on Friday that it had been leaking the entire time from a connection. The water went through our hardwood floors on the first floor into our finished basement, collapsing the ceiling tiles and causing major water damage. The installer, a subcontractor, agreed it was their mistake. However we have heard nothing from Gerhards about damages. After multiple phone calls, and assurances that we would hear from someone, including the owner, on Friday, then Saturday, then Monday, here we are Tuesday with zero communication. We have left multiple messages, multiple emails to no avail. We will be filing a case with Bucks County consumer protection to recoup the cost of the water damages. read more

Reviews of the service from Gerhard's made me very skeptical but they were the only ones that had the oven I wanted so I cautiously ordered. Service on the phone was fair, I spoke with 5 different people and 3 were very nice and customer focused, the other two were in no way willing to help and just stated someone will call you back, which they did not. The delivery was absolutely the rudest and most disrespectful delivery people I have ever had. The first person came in and said he could not remove the oven because it was hot. Took it outside but never bothered to open the door to cool completely. His partner refused to remove the strap for me so I could open the door, saying, lady just let me do my job. Then going back to the first person he refused to come out to remove the strap to open it saying his other guy would do it. Now I sit and have to see if any problems occur with the install as my oven was just wheeled in the house banging on everything through the door. these guys are nothing but rude hacks. Meanwhile they left all of the packaging, my old oven and other junk in front of my neighbors driveway. It is such a shame that Gerhard's cannot seem to fix this customer service and delivery issue they have. Not only is the on line reviewing poor but the word of mouth I have heard is equally as bad and it all relates to the terrible customer service and delivery. Lucked out by getting the oven I wanted this time, but will never purchase from Gerhard's again and will not recommend them to anyone. read more

Called to get appliance quotes on GE Profile refrigerator, stove, convention microwave and dishwasher in beginning of March, still awaiting pricing for appliances. They never returned a call or even sent a email stating any information with regards to pricing or even if they carry the items. Very unprofessional. read more

Went to Gerhard's Doylestown today with wife to buy a refrigerator. When we arrived there was only one salesperson on the floor who was with another customer. We were never acknowledged by her or anyone else in the store and after about 15 minutes we left and bought from another appliance store, Vandergift inc just down the road. Glad we did because we paid less and received better (as opposed to no) service. read more

We needed to update our kitchen appliances and went to Gerhardt because we have used them before. Their prices were cheaper than the big box stores and both items were surprisingly in stock. Scheduled installation for a couple of weeks later. Day of installation went great. Very efficient and professional. Will definitely use them in the future. read more

Great experience from start to finish at Gerhard's. I worked with Jason who was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a refrigerator. Had some issues with the installation, but the installers went the extra mile to resolve the issue. I had a good experience and would definitely recommend purchasing from Gerhard's. Thank you. read more

I have been shopping for a new dishwasher. I always start with Consumer Reports to get their recommendations. Then I hit the stores. Having gone on a Saturday, the place was busy. We had a wonderful salesperson, Adam Geiger, who was extremely knowledgeable not just about the dishwashers, but exactly what he had in stock. Checkout was easy, and fast. Delivery in 2 days. Couldn't be simpler! I would definitely recommend them and intend to use them for my next appliance purchase! Marty Goldberg read more

Very nice salesman - really pack a lot of appliances in the showroom with many high end brands. Our freezer does and they had a Frigidaire in stock and on sale- amazing in this supply chain nightmare - delivered on Friday morning as promised - will definitely go back! read more

We bought a dryer from Tim Benecke on Saturday. We got home and realized the price was different than the price on the dryer in the store. We called and left voicemail messages. I purchased an electric stove from Gerhardts in Doylestown. It was installed incorrectly by the delivery people. Another delivery team came the next day and thought the installation was correct. It was not in spite of the fact that an installation diagram is on the back of the stove. I sent 3 emails to the sales person who ignored all three. An email from Gerhardts asking me for an evaluation was answered with a negative review and that was also ignored. Because of the improper installation of the stove, I checked the installation of a dryer that I purchased from Gerhardts 2 years prior. That was also installed improperly. The improper installation represents a safety issue and Gerhardts was totally uninterested as evidenced by their failure to answer any of my emails or evaluation. read more

I dealt with Adam in the Doylestown store. He helped me from start to finish. Didnt try to oversell my needs. My dishwasher was in stock and was delivered quickly. The delivery was on time and the 3 guys were very nice. Each had their job to do and were in and out quickley. They tested the dishwasher for leaks before leaving. They left my kitchen totally clean. I have to say, it was a great experience from the time I walked through the doors of the store right through my delivery and set up. Thank you for a great experience! I will definitely go back again! read more

We had a great experience with these guys, from the showroom and ordering our new LG washer and dryer, to delivery and installation. Gerhard's very willing to accept our payment when ordering 3 appliances. When delivered parts did not get delivered with our microwave. Either didn't get out of box or was not in it. Several calls later, no response to where the parts were or when they will be delivered or if they were even ordered. Store representative was RUDE and abrasive when we called in inquire. Sales person never answered our call and did not call to inquire how we liked our costly purchases. Gerhard's will not be getting our business again. read more

I had an excellent experience today in the Doylestown store with Eric and Timothy. I had very restrictive specs for a refrigerator to fit our space, and they worked together to find the best fit at the best price. They were very helpful in making sure I did not spend more than necessary. Eric also helped me to select a grill. Again very cost-conscious in making sure I did not pay for options I did not need. I appreciated their no-pressure, service-oriented approach. read more

I was definitely interested in purchasing an electric stove and a microwave but after these reviews I think I'll pass

I waited 7 months to receive my GE profile appliance. The range was delivered broken, unable to turn it on. Gerhard would not replace it, I was Ignored and treated poorly, i am still in shock over the situation. I reached out directly to GE. I was informed it is up to the retailer to replace the range. They sent a tech out to confirm it is unusable and needs a control panel. Gerhard still refusing to deliver a new range. The part for my brand new never used range is on backorder until January. Sadly once the sale is made, you're on yoir own. How can this be acceptable?????? . read more

We Ordered the Top of the Line Whirlpool Washer & Dryer almost $4k and had to wait 2 months after 4 deliveries that were missing either the Washer or Dryer or Pedestal. Of course they get paid right away and promise great service and then we were lied to for confirmed delivery dates by sales people and Delivery Manager. Delivered 1st Time without the Washer and 2 Pedestals then 2nd Time, Dryer and no pedestals, then 3rd Time pedestals with no Screws to attach to Washer and Dryer. We were given such a hard time from Delivery Manager saying we were "Idiots" to the Driver saying all we ordered was a Dryer until I showed the Drive our Paid Invoice and then the story changed to it was back ordered and hung up on us. We took off from work several times and they scratched the Washer as well. Were promised Credit from the Sales Mgr & Store Manager and never received anything. They Scream & Speak Rudely to customers and have the WORST Customer Service ever and are a disgrace. I would never buy anything from them and would tell Everyone not to buy from Gerhard's Appliances. The Way we were Treated was unacceptable. We are reporting this to the Better Business Bureau as well read more

I have been trying to get a response from your customer service via email as well as attempting several phone calls ( no pick up!) in order to get a part I need badly for the Thermador Dual Fuel Range/Oven I purchased from you a few years ago. It appears from other review pages that the only time you respond to your disatisfied customers is if we write a bad review so I would appreciate it if you'd respond. I've had previous customer service and repair issues with you in the past (I dont know why I keep buying from you, but I don't believe I will again unless this is resolved quickly!) . Your service options are a problem, your deliveries are badly handled and now I can't even get you to locate and sell me a part for this rather expensive range I purchased from you. read more

Seniors Beware. My mother close to 80 years old ordered a refridgerator over 6 weeks ago from Gerhards in Doylestown. They gladly charged her credit card and provided a delivery date. The delivery date came and went and they provided a 2nd delivery date. That date too came and went and a 3rd delivery date was communicated. I called a few days before at which time the customer service person confirmed the date. AGAIN we never heard back so my daughter called. She was informed that the refridgerator was on backorder and would not be available for quite some time. Needless to say after close to 6 weeks we cancelled the order. I would highly suggest going to Lowes or Home Depot if you need a new appliance. At least they don't jerk you around like this place. read more

Worst company ever! Do not use them. Attitude is the pits. Ordered an under cabinet fridge (Sub Zero) and it took a year to get delivered. Okay, Covid, but the problem started four months ago when I was told it was to be delivered by the end of that month. Then it was two months later and it was in transit. Finally it's here and just dropped off in December. And I mean just dropped off. No install, no haul away, nothing. Called the store and a lady said she would "send an email". Said I never paid for install. I found the email saying I did so I called her back. Now she is saying it's a "special" install. What a bunch of BS. I asked for a manager to speak too and she said no one was there. Mean while I hear people in the background! Do NOT use this company. To much BS and no customer service. Just horrible. Lost all my future business. And I am looking to replace my large fridge (Sub Zero) and range (Wolf) but not with them! Doylestown PA read more

We purchased a GE front load washer and had it delivered and set up. I gave the delivery man a level to make sure it was balanced. He showed me that it was and left. Later, I found out that he leveled it with one on my wife's flip flops! He also tore a 1" hole in our linoleum floor getting it in. After many, many phone calls, someone finally ordered a leveling leg from GE and it was installed without any problems. To compensate me for the ruined flooring they gave me a 10-year warranty on the motor - no labor - just the motor. This is the second time I've had them put in a washer. There were problems with the first install as well. Yes, fool me once shame on them, fool me twice, shame on me. Never again. read more

We are undergoing a massive remodel that entails an entire kitchen appliance update. Everything went wrong at every step of the way. Sally, the sales "professional" offered little to no insight on any recommend brands or items to avoid. She never took into consideration some of our unique fitment requirements or appliance adjustments that needed to be made. We received incorrect appliances and had to scramble to adjust. The installers were a nightmare. Gashed new floors, tried to use a piece of scrap wood as an outlet cover, put the stove in crooked and argued with me the whole time. They also never removed all of the old appliances. The topper of all of this is getting an email from the sales rep calling me an "a$$ hole". Finally got to speak with the owner- Linda; and she said that was supposed be an internal email. I'm not sure that is supposed to make me feel any better. After spending $15k+ I would think that a bit of customer support and consultation would be reasonable. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Martin's appliance was a bit more expensive but their consultative approach is well worth it in hindsight. read more

I ordered my new Thermador cooktop from Gerhards because they were the closest authorized dealer. I hadn't seen the reviews before I went to the store. At the time I visited the store, I was still considering Wolf and Viking as well. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable about all three, and helped me feel completely comfortable with my decision to get the Thermador. I placed the order and requested installation the next Friday early morning. I received both a call and a text on Thursday confirming my 8 - 12 window, and then on Friday morning received several update via text (and also saw. the timing on their website). They arrived at 10, we're very courteous, completed the installation including checking the lines for gas leaks and making sure the cooktop worked properly (in other words a proper installation) in 30 minutes and cleaned up after.
