Absolute disappointment …read more I trusted this shop based on past experiences because they used to be helpful. We are not just returning customers. We have used them several times over the years and have referred many people to them. I sent my child there for a second opinion after he was sandwiched in an accident, and needed a second opinion because the first shop couldn't find parts. I made an appt last week and explained the situation and that this was a second opinion and we needed also help finding parts. Steve told us to come back today, so we did. My son went in, Steve completely forgot the purpose of the visit, started questioning my son, then my son told me "the manager guy is angry and calling you" I said ok. Steve calls me, I re explain the situation, he says "your son says he doesn't plan to fix the car" (all while having a rude tone with me). I let him know that obviously we will be fixing it-- that's why we are bringing it to the body shop, to which "Steve" replied, "I'm not doing an inspection for free." I calmly asked (in my raspy voice because I'm sick), "How much would you like me to pay for the inspection?" He immediately snapped, "I can sense a tone in your voice so I'm not doing the inspection because of your attitude," and proceeded to yell at me (with my son standing in front of him) so I hung up. I am currently recovering from pneumonia, so no, I don't have a chipper, lady-like voice right now. The fact that he chose to yell at me in front of my child over "tone" is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. To be treated this way as a loyal, repeat customer who has supported and referred business to this shop is beyond disrespectful. It is also worth noting that the only person who replies to negative reviews appears to be the very individual I am describing here, which makes this experience even more concerning. I will not be returning. If you value being spoken to with basic respect, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.. And all the recommendations I made for them with my community, I'm retracting. Never again.

Three days before the date we set up over the phone I called them to ask what time they opened to drop my car off, they told me 8am, I told them I will be there at 8 am that date and they say that was ok. Well when I get there to drop my car off they couldn't remember who I was or what car I was dropping off, finally they look into the computer after I reminded them about our past calls and printed out my estimate, but guess what? they simply told me they never put me on schedule after I took a couple days off off work and arrange to have a friend to drive me to work. They offered to take me in next week but the owner I suppose, the guy in the wheelchair didn't even apologized about their unprofessional customer service and the hassle they caused me, I even felt his attitude kind of rude yelling from the other room but never came out to speak to me directly, I don't know if this is the way they treat everyone or it was because I am a Hispanic person with an accent but I will definitely never recommend this body shop to anybody.

Since this was the first time I needed the services of a body shop, I asked around the neighborhood to get some recommendation on who to use. Everyone I spoke to who had a preference recommended Collision Masters. I met with owner Jeff Swafford, who surveyed the damage and he gave me a three day estimate to complete the repairs. Before I committed, I checked with one other body shop and they gave me a three week estimate to complete the repairs, so it was a no-brainer to go with Collision Masters. The repair process was easy peasy. Since the repair was being covered by my insurance, Jeff handled the all the paperwork for me. The repair work was completed in two and a half days and when I examined the vehicle, I could not tell where the deer hit my vehicle. The interior of the car was spotless, all the broken glass that littered the dash was cleaned up. An auto body shop is a service you never want to use, but if you need one in the Waunakee area, I have no reservations recommending Collision Masters.

When I took my car to Premier Body & Paint for a quote, they were extremely professional and friendly. They gave me a fair price, and one of the first things they told me (before I could even ask) was that they would be able to match the paint. Don't let that, though, take away from the family-oriented service you're going to get when you need the boys to do some work for you. I cancelled an appointment with another area shop because not only was Dave willing to get to my work sooner, but also because they were willing to take an insurance job along with some custom work all at once. I had damage to a nearly-new vehicle and required some special detail in the repair. Collision Clinic was able to stay within the boundaries of the insurance repair and yet add some more items I needed on the side. We were able to put the whole deal together and keep all parties happy. Now that's the beginning. Happy day if we can do all that, but then there is the workmanship. As we come to find out sometimes in the auto body business: there are many parts installers out there but very few BODYMEN left who can really make the pieces come together to make the whole. My hood needed repair, the panels and bumper needed to be hung differently, and above all it needed to look like nothing ever happened. When I picked up my vehicle it looked great. Being that there were only 5000 miles on this machine, it looked like it. The hood now appears exactly as it did brand new; there is simply no way to tell it had been crinkled and crunched. That's the kind of work I was looking for and that's what I got. Even if you're on the fence about who to have do your work, give Dave a shout and talk it over. You'll feel like I did: if there's someplace else you're going to be better off at then Dave will probably tell you that. He gave me a choice and I'm glad I chose to go the way I did.
