So, my van needed some repair after my father-in-law ripped off the bumper and messed up the fender getting out of the garage (insert crazy eyes). USAA offered this one place up as an option so I said yes since it was conveniently located a couple miles from me. Upon my first interaction everyone working here was professional and they also use text messages to keep you up to date on the status of the work being performed. No need to keep calling and find out what's going on. Almost daily I got a text telling me we were on track for a certain date or it would be done early. This is seriously amazing...I wish I got this kind of service everywhere! I picked up my car earlier than they quoted me and even worked out the enterprise car guys to get my rental etc. when I was driving around I noticed my windshield had specks all over it and even some writing. I called the location and they told me to come right in and they would steel wool the windshield. They took care of it super quickly. It was due to over spray when painting. Which I assumed. Did I mention that they seriously cleaned my floor mats in the front? They were so clean I could eat off them...well, maybe a 30 second rule lol. I will 100% use this location and company again. Thanks for making this process seamless and pain free! read more

These people ruined my beautiful brand new $50k+ Challenger. They left overspray on my side mirrors, put the emblems on wrong on my shaker hood, and put two dents in the roof where they slammed a buffer down on it. I had to pay a dent repair company $500 to repair the dent and $1400 to a detail company to fix the horrific buff job they did which scratched up the new paint to pieces. The paint is also full of specs of trash that got into it from not being cleaned properly Took it back once and realized they were incompetent so I decided not to let them touch it. Dont go here unless you want your car destroyed. Insurance companies protect these fraudsters so beware. read more

We dropped a car off at Gerber collision on the recommendation of our insurance company on March 2 for some relatively minor collision work. We were told the work would take 8-10 DAYS. It is now April 21, and we still do not have the car back. We call each week and are given various excuses and told the car will be ready "next week." Well we're almost at the 8 WEEK mark and we still don't have the car nor any idea when it might be ready. We are BEYOND frustrated with the lack of communication around our repair. To say they over promised and under delivered would be a huge understatement. DO NOT use Gerber collisions for your auto repair. read more

I never leave reviews because it is so rare that I feel it is necessary but I had such a good experience with Gerber collision and their repair of my Toyota Camry. From the beginning they were so on it as to keeping me up to date with what was happening and their customer service people (particularly Stephanie and Ashley) were really exceptional as to friendliness and expertise. My car is repaired like it never happened. I haven't had an issue like this car problem in years and I am so happy I used Gerber, who made it easier. I have no affiliation besides this repair but if you want quality work without crazy stress use this company and you won't be disappointed. I was actually telling people over the holiday about my good experience. read more

I was hit on the passenger's side - damages extended from the front of the car all the way to the back bumper. I have used Gerber before, and they work with my insurance company, so they did the initial quote. The first estimate was that the car would be in the shop for about 6 weeks, due to difficulty getting parts and also labor shortages. Gerber sends you an update each time the car has reached a new stage; i.e. parts are here, car is in paint, etc. Not only was the car completed in just over 2 weeks (they asked if they could move it to the Woodstock location to expedite repairs), but the repair was beautiful. I have a 2011 Prius that is a rather unique blue color - the paint and repairs are perfect! Professional, friendly, informative, fast - I would definitely recommend them 100%!! read more

I've used Gerber in the past a few times since they were a "preferred repair shop" by my insurance company, State Farm. They did a good, not great job, but since I had used them before I figured I'd use them again. Well, I stopped I to get an estimate for a relatively minor repair and I was immediately quizzed. Who was my insurance company? I explained that I planned to pay for the repairs myself. I was told they don't accept self pay so if I used my insurance, who was my insurance company. I told them, State Farm. I was told that State Farm was one of the insurance companies they were willing to work with. I was then asked, what year was my vehicle? I told them 2011. I was then told they don't accept clients with vehicles older than 2014. So apparently, Gerber picks their clients, you can't simply select them to have work done to your vehicle. As I said, they don't do great work and now their attitude sucks! I wouldn't recommend bringing a vehicle here both because of their less than top notch work but also because they obviously don't want or need the business. read more

Where to begin? My vehicle was struck head on by a sleepy driver while I was not in it, thankfully. Gerber, after some convincing on my part, took me in that day and the circus soon began. Weekly updates were promised, NEVER delivered until one young man finally "heard" my complaints/advise and began reaching out to me after I was at the 3+ month mark in this hellish process. Communication is the key to any successful service business, and there is ZERO communication with this branch. I had repeated a number of times to everyone in the office, including the GM most of all, "good news, bad news, no news - just call and inform me." NEVER happened until the 3+ month mark. I understand parts delays, and labor shortages, but at some point you have to deliver something............. OR CALL ME!!! " I am doing everything in my power to get you this part" - General Manager Well, I found that part, from their own supplier, and had it overnighted on my dime the next day. The failures of this branch are extensive and I believe extend to the corporate office as well. I called and talked to them 5 times, all very respectful conversations, with the requisite amount of compassion and understanding about my troubles, but NEVER received a call back from the higher-ups. EVER! First and only higher-up to call was a district manager or something to make arrangements to talk in person and hand me my keys. For the person who reads these YELP reviews, you will probably publicly apologize on here like you do to all the other disgruntled folks, but you really need to call me directly and do it soon. My anger and disgust is through the roof, and I do not think you want me going into the rest of the details on here. I will make this a weekly column if I have to. They know who I am. Stopped in to see if they could get a scratch out of my hood...he took the car back right away. He said it was a complimentary fix because it was a minor and minimal issue "for them" to fix. Of course it seemed huge and unsightly to me. So happy with their friendly and speedy service! I would highly recommend this place! I should also mention that I was recommended to Gerber in the first place which I believe just affirms what a good job they do! read more

I dropped off my car for a bumper job on late Tuesday and it was completed midday Friday. Fast and good work. Polite and helpful staff. Highly recommended! read more

Someone rear-ended me and crunched the bumper on my '05 Prius. Gerber repaired and matched the paint color on my older car in less than 2 days. Superior customer service and updates every step of the way. Very glad I chose Gerber, and this location specifically. The couldn't have been nicer and easier to work with. read more

I want start by saying " the worst experience of my life"!!!!!!!!!. I was in a car accident and my insurance company referred me to these people .... and I don't blame my insurance company they are the best . But these people had my suv for 6 weeks .... I went to get it for the 1st time after six weeks and i was so happy to get it back that at first i did not notice that it was loud and sounding like a freight train ....that's just how happy I was .....then when i noticed it ... I asked the young lady that was helping me did she hear the noise .... she replied yes .... asked her if it was my car because they were doing construction on the corner ..... she replied " It's your car " ... I explained to her that my car never sound like this before the accident and my car has not been repaired and that they will need to keep it and find out what is going on ..... so what happened next mad me angry but I did not loose my temper ..... she proceeded to tell me which I understood she had to say " If they keep it and find out what is wrong and it had nothing to do with the accident I would be liable for the cost of the diagnostics " I was fine with that ....but she kept saying is as to discourage me from leaving my car ......I told her "NO" you keep it ....because whatever is wrong was caused by the accident my car never made these sounds before.... This was a Saturday so they keep till Thursday ....went to get it again ..... it was no longer making that sound .... it was now a different sound .....drove the car maybe 200 feet from the location and the car was shaking and the wheels were scrubbing ...... took it back and asked for the manager Mike .... he was awful ....he proceeded to say the same thing that the young lady had told me previously ...... I almost lost it !!!!!! But in stead it came out as tears instead of words ...... told him to give me the keys back to the rental and please find out what is wrong with my car. And I called my insurance company and my attorney ( BTW the other driver was at fault in my accident) I was told by my insurance that they would take care of it . So I got a call from Mike from Gerber that they were to take it to Acura for a second look..... and that he would have it towed there ..... to shorten my story i won't get into the dealership not being able to find my car because Mike lied ....they did not tow my car there they drove it there and it took the dealership all day to locate it . So in the end I paid nothing out of pocket .... did not get an apology or anything for this ordeal that they took me thru ...."THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!! read more

Awful corporate bs excuse of a repair shop. Will charge you for parts that don't even need repairing. After getting an outrageous quote here I took my car to another shop who charged 3000$ less no questions asked. read more

Nice enough people, but sub - par work. Job wasn't finished, had to take it back. Then it wasn't done when they said it was gong to be. Was told it was going to be a few hours, ended up being 2 days. I was only told that when I called for status at the end of the day. Then when they said it was done I showed up and it still wasn't. one area was worse leaving then when I got there. read more

They totaled my car then didn't want to pay. They caught my car on fire with a welder then made it very difficult and paid far less than a fair price to replace the vehicle. They were impossible to deal with. Disaster. read more

A rock hit my windshield while driving on the expressway and out of town. By the time I got home, the windshield had a crack expanding almost half way across necessitating replacement as opposed to repair. I checked with my insurance company who put me in touch with a Safelite rep. It was going to cost approximately 330.00 (best quote from any of their metro Atlanta locations) and require me waiting at the shop for about 3 hours. I though the quote was too high so I began making calls and looking online. I was able to get multiple quotes through Yelp (a service I did not realize they had). Gerber called me immediately and set up a time when they would come to me and only charged 305.00. The technician arrived on time and finished within the hour he indicated it would take. I was very pleased with Gerber from start to finish. The experience of having to replace my windshield was traumatic but Gerber made the process much easier. read more
