I had used them before to repair a crack but knew this one would require a replacement. Jason gave me a quote for after market glass and also OEM. Because my BMW has heads up display and other safety features through the windshield he explained why I wanted OEM glass. Afterwards I did my own research and determined he was spot on. No pressure from Jason. He just let me know they were there when I was ready. Then I left town and it was an entire month before I got back to fixing my windshield. H&A is an approved provider through my insurance so the process was so easy. Within 30 minutes, Jason had the authorization from my insurance company for the replacement and calibration needed. Horatio called me and let me know he was on the way. He and Wilmer got right to work. In less than two hours they had my windshield replaced, did the calibration and drove it to make sure everything was functioning properly. They even were kind enough to move the sticker I need to get in our work parking lot from my old windshield to my new one. Horatio and Wilmer were both professional and efficient. Sir I know what I bought extended cab has room for a seat brother no one can sit back here. Long story short. I spent a couple weeks driving around the city getting…read morequotes on how much it would cost to fix the back part of my car (driver's side) & a broken taillight. Gerber's quote was the most reasonable and pretty much spot on as far as the estimate my insurance company suggested as well. I first brought my car to the Gerber location in Decatur and the customer service rep was very helpful! She was courteous, understanding and very transparent about how the process would go. I ended up bringing by car to this location because it's closer to where I live. I dropped my car off on a Monday morning and received it back the following week on Tuesday afternoon. I received a packet with instructions on how to car for my car the next 30 days (I had a paint job done over the affected areas as well) and an itemized list of the cost of parts/ labor cost etc. Overall I'm glad my baby is fixed! I'm glad this experience was hassle free and I knew exactly what to expect while my car was in the shop. UPDATE: I should add that I have total full body coverage for my car insurance. So either way I pay my $500 deductible and that's it. I did look over the details of my receipt and saw the final price of the work done was DOUBLE what the estimate was. Ultimately it made no difference in what I paid (because I only paid my deductible). However, I'm sure my insurance company wasn't too thrilled with that. I'd be extra cautious (especially) if you're paying for work out of pocket.
