As most folks know I have not been happy with the quality of the work. Most recently rust is now showing up under the paint. There were problems with the paint from day 1 and Tim tried to fix it but that did not materialize since he could not make any additional money on the job. Original parts were damaged without regard. Straight lines were not important (see pictures). Attention to detail was simply not important. After spending 13K with TD Customs I am left with a rusty truck and a paint job that has to be redone. Last time I checked 13K is a lot of money. I simply cannot recommend them to anyone. I would have been better off taking my truck to Maaco or maybe a high school student with a rattle can.

If you value your car at all, take it elsewhere. I thought going to a local shop would be my best bet. Boy was I wrong. Nothing but cutting corners and excuses from them. They do not stand behind their work and does not honor their warranties.

Our car got clipped in the front fender by a bus and…read morescraped the paint on the fender and bumper as well as putting a wavy series of dimples in the fender. Auto body shop wanted north of $600 to repair. I had heard of Paintless Dent Removal but never tried it. So I called the Dent Eraser and Jason Hill, the owner, told me to meet him at 8 AM the next day. I drove in, he told me he could get it 97% out and quoted me a price. In 45 minutes he had done his magic on the fender and sanded and polished the scrapes out. The only tell tale is where the clear coat got chipped by the bus. Jason did a fantastic job, is very friendly and obviously highly skilled. He will tell you what the limits of his methods are. Try his service.

They even took the time to detail the inside as well, and it looked amazing. The down side is a big one. It took FOREVER. And I mean forever. Weeks and weeks. Three and a half to be exact, to replace a bumper and hood. It was a toss up for me between five stars for the body work, and two stars for the time it took. So I settled on four. The place is great, just don't expect it to be FAST. George needs to do a better job with scheduling. I had a car that was drivable that I could have scheduled around the body work had I known it was going to take him more than three weeks for what other places had quoted as a five-day job.

When I called the second time after waiting until the end of the week, they still had not started the job. And she told me not to call back. So, I didn't. I just waited two more week then picked up my parts. I can't remember being treated this shabby anywhere else in the Asheville area. BEWARE!
