I've had a great experience at Dr. Roodzant office. The entire staff are great and make you feel welcomed and comfortable. I wanted to share my experience with teeth whitening I had done today. We all know that your smile leads the way to making a great first impression on others. I have always been so critical of my teeth. I have spend lots of money over the years trying tons of whitening products that promise to remove stains and yellowing on your teeth that occur from the things we eat and drink. None live up to that! I decided to get them professionally done by Jenny and I couldn't be happier. Jenny was so nice and personable and did such a fantastic job. I absolutely love them!!!! Dr. Roodzant is incredible. I have trust issues in general and ever since I decided to trust him 5 years ago, I've never been let down. He asks all the right questions, listens to you, and presents a plan of action. He is gentle and will do whatever necessary to address the pain you have (of course you have to tell him when it hurts!), in order to get to the right solution, as comfortably as possible. He is not a fan of unnecessary drilling and will always have YOUR best interest, regardless if you are paying out of pocket, or are using insurance. I will never see anyone else. I've also had a few hygienists over this time and can't say I've been let down in this aspect either. So glad my grandparents trusted him first! The office is located upstairs in a building with other dental offices, which may be challenging for some people. If you need basic work such as a regular cleaning maybe it's fine, but he rushed my mother's work and she was in pain and numb for longer than usual. First off my wife and I have been going to Dr. Roodzant's for a few years now and I have nothing but great things to say. The whole team is amazing and we are relieved to have found such a great place to have our teeth worked on. We recently went in to have our cleanings and I decided to make an appointment with Jennifer who is a registered dental assistant but has her own teeth whitening business at Dr. Roodzant's office. Jennifer personifies what is great about this office. If you are looking to improve your teeth by getting them whitened I would give her a try. My mom goes to Dr. Roodzant and referred me. She told me that he is the best dentist! I needed an appointment for a loose filling and they told me they could squeeze me in same day. I was unfortunately a victim to a very bad dental situation that was nearly labeled as torture, and as a result, I spent almost a decade with an absolute disdain and fear and penchant toward violence against any that would hurt me. I came to visit Dr. Roodzant and his staff, and from the moment I came into the room, mind you terrified, Dr. Roodzant and his staff put my mind at ease with a plan to establish a significant treatment plan, and after 3 visits with significant work performed, I have reached the point where not only do I not dear coming in, but am very happy to visit Dr. Roodzant and his staff! We have a very long way to go in order to get me where I need to be, but he is completely responsible for a major change and my mental frame of mind. Cathleen, one of this RDAs, is also an absolute sweetheart and is very friendly to me. It is always a pleasure to be able to talk with her and joke around to alleviate any minuscule nervousness that might still linger. Dr. Roodzant is not only saving my self confidence to where I am not going to be afraid to smile again eventually, but he is also sincerely saving my life. I have had a phobia of dentists since I was a kid. Now I'm adult I still don't like to go, but it's a necessity. Dr. Roodzant and his staff make it somewhat enjoyable. I went to him once on the recommendation of a friend and thought he was fine, so I told my wife to take my son there when he injured himself and needed to be seen by a dentist. After the horrible experience my wife says she went through, my family and I will never again set foot there. I cannot reccomend this place to anyone else. Great experience. They were able to fit me in on an emergency basis due to severe pain. I needed a root canal which of course terrified me. Dr Roodzant was calm and reassuring. On Wednesday at about 5:00 P.M., I crashed on my mountain bike. As a result, I knocked out one of my front teeth. Although the time was well after regular business hours, I called Dr. Roodzant's after hours phone number. To my surprise he answered the phone. I certainly didn't expect this from someone in the healthcare field. Although I was in a panic he put my mind at ease, and set up an appointment for the next day. I arrived at 10:30 A.M., and I was in a dental chair by 10:40 A.M. To make a long, painful, toothless story short, I was out in no time with a new crown. Great job! No more whistling when I pronounce any words with the letter S. My family, numerous friends and I have been going to Dr. Roodzant for about 12 years now. In that time we have been nothing but satisfied with him and his office staff. I give him two teeth up! As far as the review by Irving, G., I find it hard to believe that he would have experienced anything but satisfaction with Dr. Roodzant. His review of this dentist is completely foreign to me. This is not the Dr. Roodzant that we know. Oh well, you can't please everyone. read more

My teeth are very sensitive and therefore over the years I have developed a fear of dentists because dental work is a very painful process for me. Dr. Roodzant was very gentle and allowed the additional time and shots necessary to be sure I was really numb before proceeding with the work. The fillings were in a difficult to access spot and they turned out beautifully. The hygienist on an earlier appointment was also very accommodating working around my sensitive to cold teeth. I'm actually looking forward to going back for my next cleaning - also a first. Definitely recommend him. read more
