Clean office but make sure you check your insurance coverage and claims/estimated bills. See pictures and explanation below. The quick and easy explanation was that the office estimated they would be paid $79.80 from my insurance when in reality they were paid $123.90 from my insurance. They estimated they would be paid $114 between myself and insurance when in reality they were paid $158.10 between myself and insurance. I received a treatment estimate that the visit in total would be $114. They would bill/charge $35 for the oral evaluation and then $79 for x-rays. Between my insurance coverage estimated to be paying $79.80 and myself to pay $34.20. I just checked my claim for the visit and it appears they billed $130 for comprehensive evaluation (not sure what this entails as Dr. Tanios spent maybe 5 minutes blowing air and looking at my teeth after x-rays, no fluoride cleaning or rinse done at all!) and then $180 for X-rays. Well it turns out my insurance accepted this claim and paid $35.70 for the comprehensive evaluation and $88.20 for the X-rays. Meaning, insurance paid $123.90 for this visit and I paid $34.20 for this visit, $158.10 the office was paid for a $114 estimate visit. Not sure how this makes sense them billing more than what is on the estimate as well as being paid $44.10 more than the estimated total visit estimate. It's only $44.10 but makes me wonder what else they would have billed extra and gotten paid from me as a patient as well as all other patients. Make sure you check your estimates with your claims that insurance is paying. Needless to say I will not be returning to this office. I also went to another dentist and the recommended "deep cleaning" Dr. Tanios said I needed was not needed at all. The dentist looked at my X-rays and just did a scaling on areas I needed it and will need to have two cavities replaced. Dr. Tanios didn't even do that at my first visit read more

I had multiple root canals with crowns done by Dr. Tanios about 6 years ago. I had recently been experiencing pain and discomfort on those same teeth, so I saw a different dentist to see what was going on. Turns out every single crown that Dr. Tanios placed had an "overhang"- meaning that they didn't sit flush to my teeth and food had been getting stuck under the uneven surfaces hanging off the side of the teeth. I now have infections deep under several teeth and severe decay under the crowns. The infection is so bad, may even loose a molar at this point. She also, for some inexplicable reason, added resin DOWN the root of the teeth instead of just on top (as is industry standard), making it extremely difficult to now try to fix these problems. Wish I could have warned my younger self to go elsewhere. read more

I can't recommend Dr. Tanios enough! I found her office on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! I had a major accident last year and chipped two front teeth, and a previous dental office did a poor job on three fillings in my back left upper and lower molars. Today, her and her team not only properly repaired my filings with perfectly fitted onlays, but also repaired my two front teeth with bonding to where you cannot even tell they were chipped! I have been searching for an amazing dentist and experience and I finally found it! I came in for a series of appointments, from a deep cleanse, dealing with cavity and tooth pain, to ortho. Everyone is so nice, communicative, and attentive. I'm also afraid of needles but Dr. Tanios is phenomenal and made me feel at ease, and it was (almost lol) painless.
