Both my daughters received their beautiful smiles here. It's sad to say that today is the last appointment for my youngest. The care they received here from staff and doctors was top notch!! The front office is amazing, friendly and helpful. The doctors are caring, friendly and treat their patients with respect not to mention their office is very clean. thanks for proving my daughters with top care for the last 4 years. read more

My son had a great experience. 9 years old and loves going to his ortho appointment. Highly recommend

Apex Orthodontic has a great team! The quality of care is excellent, and the entire team is always kind, patient, and welcoming. They take the time to explain everything clearly and keep us informed throughout the process. Getting braces and having them adjusted can be painful and intimidating experience for a kid, but mine has never been nervous about going into Apex for an appointment. We've had a great experience and highly recommend them! read more

The staff is very friendly and welcoming I appreciate how they make me feel very welcome

I brought my daughter here on a recommendation. Not only was the doctor amazing and kind but also the whole staff! I will definitely recommend others to come and check this place out. read more

2.5 years later (2nd phase) my son got his braces removed but I wasn't too satisfied. Although they were friendly, once the contract & payments were over it was time to remove his braces which he still had an overbite bigger than I would have liked. A friend of mine paid extra to keep his braces longer & his teeth look nice. I didn't know that was on option. (4 stars for my son. His teeth are nice but side profile you can notice his overbite) I also ended up getting Sparks, somewhat like Invisalign. My teeth were already straight but due to age they were moving so I went in for a retainer. They recommended braces. I regret it because my smile shifted a bit. I spent a lot of & my smile looks the same, I actually liked the before better ‍‍. (2.5 stars for the recommendation they gave me. I should have just gotten retainers like I had initially gone for). read more

Apex is such an amazing place to take you little ones too. I was referred by my daughter's primary dental office for her braces and they have helped me through every step with the braces. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly. Plenty of space to sit even have seats outside in case it gets packed. I would definitely recommend to come here if you need braces or any orthodontic help. read more

Daughter loves it here and super comfortable for her. Staff is friendly and accomodating

the staff is good but scheduling follow up appointments is hard because the doctor is only at the Whittier Location a few times a week and the days offered sometimes do not work with our schedule because of work and school. read more

They are very good ! Orthodontists and all the personnel are very professional ! My daughter chose the clear braces they were a little kore expensive but she wish she would have had the regular for a traditional look . Overall I recommend this great team! read more

Came here a while ago for a consultation. The staff were very welcoming for when you once step inside, however, I felt that the doctor didn't take much time into the consultation itself, especially with explaining the differences between the aligner/braces options. Instead of providing details, it was essentially what are you willing to pay (metal braces v. Clear braces v. Invisalign). I ended up getting aligners somewhere else, but would recommend the doctor to spend more time with patients during consultation...whether we feel comfortable, supported make a difference. read more

I can't believe I waited so many years to get braces. The doctors and staff were extremely tentative and friendly. Come here if you want that perfect smile read more

I am not one to leave negative comments however, after paying almost 7k for my aligners, you have to make sure this is what you want. I am not happy with my results, my teeth are not even straight. If I would've known before, I would've gotten regular braces for a much cheaper price and with better results. The dr. Insisted I needed to wear the aligners 23hours a day or so, with only removing them in between meals. I did that. At times, some of the sets did not even fit properly, I would get them refitted and at one point or another the new set would have the same issue. Make sure you ask before getting aligners how do they determine the amount of time it takes for your teeth to be straightened out with aligners because that is definitely not accurate when all these issues come up. Also the dr made it seem it was someone what fault because I had not gotten a teeth cleaning in months. Which I found to be a dumb reason. After my time period had expired, if I wanted to continue with aligners I needed to pay. Pay? Again? No way! So yeah, I wouldn't recommend aligners at this location. read more

Apex operates in a swift and quick manner. Their customer service is so friendly and on point. Amazing staff and kind doctors. They do their very best to make this whole process so painless too. Great place to get braces put on! I recommend it. read more

I cannot say enough good positive things about every single staff member at this location. They are considerate, caring, very well educated and just overall amazing people. I don't feel treated as just another patient I feel treated as a family member or a very very close friend by every single one of those staff members. And on a professional side they have done amazing work for my teeth!! Can't wait till the end results. read more

Apex Orthodontics - Feeling great after today's visit!! - Orthodontists Near Me - Whittier, California

My little girl loves going to see her orthodontist... No, it's not the cookie or coffee for mommy. It is the wonderful staff at this place. They really care about their tiny sized patients, like my little 11 year old girl. Before i picked this place, she was treated by another orthodontist for her open bite with myobrace. Initially, i was in love with that place, but they kept on changing doctors. I decided to switch to apex after comparing prices with various places. Her old place, the initial doctor left and that's when everything went hill. This place is own by a lovely husband and wife team. They are both very nice with little kids, very patience. My little girl actually was the one who pick this place, even without knowing other places quoted mommy. She said she likes to get her braces there because the facility is clean, new, modern. She is silly alright. As for why I picked this place, first it is the location ( I'm in Hacienda). Close but not too close, it is about 10 mins from where i live, and alot of time there will br traffic leaving there on Colima heading back to hacienda Heights. I actually did look at 3 places in hacienda heights and i dislike their service. Waited an hour for a free consultation at one place, one place the orthodontist can't speak English clearly, and one just had a rude lady as receptionist. The other two places i got quotes from are in whittier. One had their computer on with patient info, totally violated hipaa. And this other place charges ridiculous amount of money. So at the end, I simply listen to my little girl and pick apex. I love this place, never make my wait more than 5 mins, very on schedule. Don't bother to do anywhere else, and waste your time. I already gone through 6 quotes plus one from her old orthodontist. Total of 7 quotes, I'm a single mom raising 2 kids without help, i need not just the best price, but also the best people that i can trust to give my little girl the best smile. A beautiful smile is important for girls (and boys). Also, they have 2 locations. If whittier is too far, check them out at their location in west covina??? I believe. Bottom line is, kid loves it, mommy approved. And yes God customer service is one of the top reason i pick this place, along with their awesome pricing. I can't emphasize how important good customer service means when it comes to attracting customers. read more

Great staff and wonderful service. The office staff are as friendly and welcoming as you would want anyone to be. From the admin staff to the doctor, all are accommodating and knowledgeable in their craft. Apex Orthodontics - Super cute coffee station. - Orthodontists Near Me - Whittier, California

I took my son in for a consultation they brought him into the consult room. We spoke of prices and met the ortho doctor who right then and there took his gloved fingers to examine my son's mouth. My son was in a reg chair and saliva all over from the dentists examination . A little strange. I understand it is a small office but if you don't have an examining chair then don't allow me to make an appointment . The other issue I had was they were so concerned about when my sons last dental cleaning was (in which I couldn't remember the date) I advised them that I take my son in for normal cleanings each year but since I didn't have the exact date, we could not proceed to get braces on until I had a letter from my normal dentist stating his last cleaning . I was a little offended by the staff assuming that I don't take care of my son's dental needs. As I was leaving they then changed their mind and said we can have braces put on but by that time I decided this place was not a good fit for us ,so I then went to Gire orthodontics where I never once was asked if my sons teeth were cleaned regularly and the staff was very friendly read more

Our dentist referred us to Apex for our 8 year old's orthodontics treatment. Our little girl was nervous about getting braces but immediately was put at ease by the friendly and warm welcome we received. Dr. Kim and her team throughly explained the treatment plan for our daughter. They were ready to begin the same day and gave us various options for payment plan. Just after one visit, our daughter's smile has greatly improved. I know we made the right decision by choosing Apex. read more

I completed my Invisalign treatment a few years ago at Apex's West Covina location, but being inconsistent and negligent with my final trays the last few years resulted in my bottom teeth beginning to overlap and crowd again. I noticed that when my teeth were straight I had less problems with food getting stuck in my teeth, but as they became more misaligned food started getting stuck frequently again! Ugh. Anyway, my personal issues aside... I went to the new Whittier location because it slightly closer to me, but let me just say, I would drive far to go to Dr. Kim. She's personable, professional and I always feel like she's putting my goals and dental health first. I actually enjoy my ortho appointments. And I'm SO glad the past work I had done on my teeth could somewhat be salvaged. The duration of my "refinement" treatment was much shorter and totally worth it. I will be better with my final trays this time! The photos speak for themselves but their office is immaculate and the staff is super friendly. Dr. Kim is also super great with kids. I witnessed her interact with her precious patient and the kid (maybe 10 years old?) seemed to really enjoy seeing her. I will definitely bring my kid here if needed in the future. Highly, highly recommend! read more

I am so happy I decided to start my braces treatment here. Let me first start off this review by saying I am an adult and I never had braces when I was a child. I started to notice a lot of crowding on my bottom front teeth recently, so I finally decided to take the plunge to start orthodontic treatment. I called the office after browsing on yelp and seeing this office's reviews at the West Covina location. One of my girlfriends from pilates class actually did her Invisalign at their West Covina office, and she was raving about the doctors and staff. Apparently, this location is their second office and it also just happens to be much more convenient for me. Jessica answered the phone and helped schedule me in for the next day! Woot!! At the consultation, I got a tour of the office and yummy, warm and soft cookies straight out of their oven! The office is super clean, there's plenty of parking in the lot, and the office stays nice and cool always especially in this current scorching LA heat. I met with Dr. Kim and she was so friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. It's a husband and wife practice and I love how welcoming the vibe is at this place. Every time I walk in, there are smiling faces checking me in and showing me straight to my chair. No wait time is always a plus. I really feel welcomed and comfortable at this office and always look forward to my next adjustment. I'm definitely bringing my kids here next. :) I work and speak closely with others all day long and so I knew I really didn't want to draw attention to my teeth! At the consult, I was given the choice of clear braces and Invisalign. I decided to go with clear braces because I didn't want to have to remind myself to wear the aligners because I can be quite forgetful. The clear braces are gorgeous and not at all noticeable. It's been a few visits and I already see tremendous change in my teeth. My husband always points out that my teeth looks straighter and I actually end up spending more time on my oral hygiene now making sure I'm protecting my pearly whites! I swear, my smile now makes me look younger too! Can't wait for the finished result. read more

A great experience staff is wonderful every time grace comes for her appts. Thanks Apex Ortho!

I cannot say enough good things about Apex Orthodontics, their doctors and their staff. I am nearing the finish line on my treatment and have always been greeted with friendly and helpful attitudes from everyone. Initial consultation I was given a tour and told exactly what my treatment would consist of. In house financing made it possible for my son and I to aim for beautiful smiles. Each visit is personable and the vibes are always positive. Dr Paul and Dr Aileen work together and make the treatment in line with my orthodontic needs at every visit. They are genuine with each individual and in my case they were patient with me when I didn't want to wear my bands:) I mainly visit the Whittier office but recently visited their West Covina office and it was just as great with a lot of the same familiar faces. Offices are always clean and have the best music! My son just started his treatment and I will be glad to visit with the office throughout his journey as well. read more

When I learned our little guy required early braces I began to research all my orthodnotics options in my area. I visited no less than 6 local offices including Apex and it was an easy decision on Apex being the overall best for our little guy all around. The staff were great and continue to be as welcoming as they were the first day. Dr Kim always makes my little guy smile and puta him at ease. I would recommend Apex to any friend seeking an orthondontics. They actually have 2 offices this Whittier location and a West Covina one as well, and athough West Covina is closer distance wise this Whittier location is an easier quicker drive. read more

Dr. Kim is awesome!!! My son started treatment couple months ago and we're absolutely happy with Dr. Kim and all her staff. After taking my son to several consultations with different Orthodontists, we chose Dr. Kim. Not only is she sweet, caring & friendly, she takes the time to explain each procedure and answer any questions we have. We initially went to the West Covina office for consult, but chose Whittier because it's closer to home. Friendly staff at both locations! read more

Apex Orthodontics has given me my perfect smile, and it's all thanks to Dr. Kim and Dr. Lee and the amazing Invisalign treatment I've received. I can confidently say they are probably the best in their field, not to mention the most friendly, knowledgeable, and informative doctors that I trust completely. After months of searching and several questionable consultations, I decided to make my way to Apex Orthodontics in Whittier, as I got a referral from a friend. I made the drive from Koreatown, as she had raved about both Dr. Kim and Dr. Lee and their excellent Invisalign and braces treatment services. I could not have been happier about my visit. Upon first meeting Dr. Kim, I felt very welcome and comfortable. Being that I've never had any dental treatment in the past, I was able to share all of my concerns, and she was very attentive to all my needs. She answered, all of my questions in great detail, and her wealth of knowledge and experience assured me that I had found the right place to get my treatment. I'm now 6 months in and my teeth are already super straight and well aligned. I am absolutely excited to see my smile becoming even more beautiful with perfect teeth after the treatment is done in the upcoming months! From the fantastic doctors, friendly team of staff and specialists, quality facilities, and the freshly baked cookies (this is likely the only dentist office that will welcome you with the smell of chocolate chip cookies!), Apex Orthodontics will go above and beyond what anyone can ever expect to experience at a dentist's office. Many thanks to Dr. Kim, Dr. Lee and team! read more
