The short review: Friendly, Professional, Comfortable, and Affordable. Atlantic Dental has been taking care of my dental and orthodontic needs for the past 3 years. I receive great care and service, and have never had one negative experience with them. I have never waited more than 15 minutes on appointment days, and most waits are less than 5 minutes. The lobby is clean with lots of seating. A big screen TV runs Netflix non-stop, and they provide everyone with bottled water. The doctors, dental assistants, and office staff are so nice and work quickly. Everyone is constantly checking in with your comfort. Each exam room has a TV and streams music, anything you want to hear. I recommend Bossa Nova music...so fun and calming when metal objects are being inserted into your mouth. The longer review: I went a very long time without going to a dentist. I was in school for a long time, on a budget, and dentistry just fell off the map. A few years back, I saw a strip-mall dentist offering cheap cleanings, and thought it was about time for one. The experience was awful. The cleaning was sub-par. They gave me an exam and said I had like 7 cavities. They even took a picture of me smiling and super-imposed giant, straight teeth inside my mouth. It looked just terrible. I left and thought I better go to a proper dentist. I looked at many dentist and chose Atlantic Dental because it looked nice, would allow me to make monthly payments directly to their office, and I like its location in Uptown Whittier. I paid a very affordable payment to get a detailed cleaning, X-rays, and an Exam. I told the dentist that my goal is to get braces, and to do whatever is necessary to make that happen. My teeth were actually not that bad. I had 1 cavity, not 7. So yes, they are honest. They recommended a couple of fairly invasive procedures that were done with great care. They gave me a 2-year plan for orthodontics. Lucy manages the billing and payment options for the office and set-up a very modest, monthly payment plan for all the work I was having. She developed a payment plan that fit my budget and she has been a delight to see each visit. Everyone at the front desk is very friendly and attentive. Dr. Rojas oversaw my orthodontic work, and I am simply amazed by the results. I had a fairly severe overbite, and Dr. Rojas was able to correct it so well, that even she was surprised by the results. The dental assistants work very fast and really limit the amount of discomfort that one would expect. My teeth are now straight and very well aligned. I finally feel comfortable smiling in photos for the first time in my life. My teeth and mouth are healthy and I could not be happier. I have visited this office a lot over the past 3 years, and will continue being a regular patient for as long as I live in Los Angeles. read more

One of my biggest fears was to come to the dentist , it took me about one year to get my research started . I went to five different offices to get five evaluations at each place, not being satisfied or confident with any of those evaluations I landed at Atlantic Dental Group my SIXTH and last evaluation . They took me in and accommodated me from the second I got there . Always took care of me and my needs . Availability was the first thing open to me . Even when the doctor was off he came in to the office just for me to get my treatment done . They are VERY flexible when it comes to scheduling , and the pricing CAN NEVER be beat as far as I know and comparing all the evaluations I had received not one place beat their pricing . I am SOOO happy my lifestyle has changed for the best with all the treatment I received from Dr.Tamir and Dr.Paz ! They are the best team in the state ! Both finalized my treatment and gave me the best of the best diagnosis for myself . The front office staff including Jeimy, Denise, Cristina and April are amazing ! He went out of his way to call me directly and asked me if there was anything he can do for me which I thought that was very nice of him and very professional. For all you people who are seeking happiness let me tell you,the moment that I came to Atlantic dental it changed my life I was miserable,as a result of being a victim of the reality of having no dental insurance. I had the worst experience with Western Dental when they extracted one of my molers to be honest it had to be one of the worst days of my life. at 31 years old I was already losing teeth but God is so amazing that he has truly blessed me. a friend & coworker of mine refered me to Atlantic dental in uptown whittier, They welcomed me with warm & beautiful smiles in which reassured me that I was in the right place. This is hands down, the best dental office I've been ever been to. The staff's friendly, kind and understanding. The doctor's are knowledgeable, trustworthy and experienced in their practice and are patient in answering any questions you might have. I drive roughly two hours to come see them and if they weren't so far, I'd have do all my work. My treatment plan was to get bone grafting, sinus augmentation lift to provide better foundation for my implants and so far, I have five implants successfully installed and I'm looking forward to finishing the second and third phases: the abutments and finally the crowns. I was referred to this office by several people that come here. I came for dental implants. I had to have several teeth removed. This process is long and nerve racking. The people that work at this office were very pleasant They explained the process and assured me I would be fine. Dr Paz was great. I felt no discomfort during my extractions. It was a very easy procedure. I was amazed how felt nothing and he was done in no time at all. The employees there are friendly. They great you with a smile, and explain everything very clearly. The dental assistant Susie awesome. She is very nice and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, and is pleasant to talk to. Everyone here is great. I have a few more visits to complete this process. My teeth have been in terrible condition for many years. My periodontist was going to charge me about $3,500 for an implant & crown; maybe more. I read some great reviews on Yelp about Atlantic Dental Group and decided to go with them. They charged my only $1,200 for everything & did a phenomenal job. The implant/crown was perfect, & now I can chew normally. Dr. Tamir & Dr. Paz not only did magnificent work, but there was very little pain or discomfort. I went back to have my teeth cleaned. The lady who did the dental hygienist, Bina, used state-of-the-art equipment with great skill & care. The cleaning she did was "deep", yet the entire procedure was absolutely painless. Hello my name is Velia, Im very thankfull to God that my son's appt went great. Everyone in this office is so nice and gentle. My son had his cleaning appts with Bina and Mandy each did half of his mouth. They did so great with him as for my son was a great patient himself ..their patience and good ethics were clearly seen. I've been going to Dr. Tamir for many years. I will never forget how welcoming the staff was on my first visit after being away for a very long time. They were so friendly and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable as they tried to calm my nerves. Now my visits come easy. I went to this office that my friend recommended. I was seeing by Dr. Tamir. He is absolutely awesome. He sat with me and explained everything he found. He made me feel at ease. I'm scared of dentists, but with him I felt at ease. I felt comfortable. He reassured me that everything would be fine and it was. I needed an implant and he did it for me. I didn't feel anything and he explained what he was doing as he was doing it. I've been to dentist who just do the work without taking the time to explain what they were doing and why it needed to be done. We need more dentists like Dr. Tamir. read more
