Came in to rent some skis and boots and Mike helped us out greatly and ended up buying used skis there. There used section has some great deals for snowboard, skis, and boots. We came back to return everything and Paige there was amazing. She answered all of my questions I had about skis and what to look for in boots when I end up buying my own. I will definitely be coming back to buy all the things I need. Also, the shop dog is too cute haha. I also want to share while I was there I overheard a guy worker helping a gentlemen out with his equipment and even offered the next day on his day off he would do some runs with this gentleman to help him out and I thought how cool! read more

We went there in January 2022.However, I've been a tad busy and completely forgot to write a review, but they were always on the back of my mind. Now that ski season is right around the corner, I wanted to throw in my two-cents. I must say, holey moley...this place is the best. I had never skied in my life, (not much of a cold, snow person) however, with the right trainer/s including my amazing husband, ski instructor (Bryan Head Resort), obtaining the right equipment with education (thank you Georg's), amazing group of friends with lots of patience and a splash of Vodka (obviously after the skiing was attempted) made a perfect weekend. Now I can't wait to hit the slopes. We stayed at Georg's and it felt like staying with family. Everyone there was so nice, helpful and knowledgable.... So I left the one bag with all of the snow gear at home. Popped into Georg's literally an hour before they were going to close. I got all the snow wear for my kid and myself and rentals less than an hour. You can rent pants, jackets, and helmets if you do not want to buy because you forgot your stuff at home! Everything from the website, to check in, ski rental and check out, went smoothly and professionally. We spent five awesome days and four awesome nights at one of Georg's ski-in ski-out condos right next to lift seven. The service from Georg's staff both reservation booking and ski rental was excellent. My family has been skiing here since 2009 and will continue to do so. The condo was clean, spacious and had everything you needed to make yourself comfortable from the bedrooms to the kitchen. We were not wanting for anything. This is an excellent place to rent ski equipment and gear. We came here to rents skis and boots and were helped immediately by 2 gentlemen. The equipment is nice and pricing very reasonable. It took us less than 20 minutes to get the equipment we wanted. Return was just as easy and took less than 1 minute. We will definitely come back! read more

A very busy rental spot, especially in the morning. There are tons of people going in and out of the shop with equipment and shoes. When you walk in, you have to first check in at a kiosk where you list your party members' height, weight, etc. We rented skis plus the ski boots, so we had to be fitted for shoes after that. It was slightly chaotic. There were only three benches in the small shop, and about 10-15 people were trying to get shoes at the same time. Still, the staff managed to get everyone moving, without seeming pushy or rushed. We got our skis and boots in about thirty minutes. They also let us take our stuff back and exchange/adjust it when boots didn't fit. Great all around customer service. Returns were super easy, just dropped the gear off, checked out and left. At the end of the day, they are much less busy. If you are really looking to avoid a crowd, or get on the slopes bright and early, I would advise renting your equipment the night before so that you have everything you need for the next day. The prices are also pretty good; made this a very affordable vacation. If you do decide to rent from them, remember to say hi to the doggy. :D read more

Our 1st visit to Brian Head and we rented at Georg's. The service here is friendly and efficient. I rented a snowboard and boots for 3 days. Unfortunately, on Day 1 of snowboarding I strained my knee. I went to return my equipment at 9:45am and Georg's was great about refunding me 2 days even though I should have returned the equipment the day before by 5pm. They took pity on me which was so nice! Looking forward to returning to Brian Head when my knee heals and renting from Georg's again! read more

Best ski shop I've ever been to! I've been on mountains and around ski shops my whole life and the service here is unmatched. I called a few days before and Robbie graciously answered all my questions and did it with a smile I could hear over the phone. We stopped in when we arrived at the mountain we brought my fiancé's skis in to get his bindings mounted ans to rent a snowboard package for myself and they had us in and out in 15min! I was told to check out Georg's Ski Shop when I come to Brian Head to get some new boots. I was immediately greeted by George who was extremely helpful and friendly. Later, I was working with Alena on boot fitting and she was patient with me and very informative. We found the perfect boot. Alena did not pressure me into buying a boot and said I could research to make sure I am buying the right boot. I did some research and found it to be a good boot for me. I ended up working with Mike to complete the order and he was extremely helpful. I had some old bindings that would not work with the new boots and Mike suggested that I try the demo ski's and make sure that I like the boots, to which later I can get new bindings to work with the new boots. On another note, as I was leaving, I noticed they were selling firewood, so I asked how much for a bundle and George said take the bundle and pay when you come back tomorrow. It is not often that you find people who are genuine, kind, passionate about what they do, but I found all of that at Georg's. I will be making all of my purchases with this store as I upgrade mine and my families ski's throughout the years. Keep up the great work! read more

After getting the run around on some kids snowboards from the resort someone finally suggested we try George's. I wish we would have come here in the first place. The price was much better, but the service is what my review is about. The whole staff from beginning to end was awesome to my two little kids and made it such a fun easy process. This place was seriously amazing when it came to rentals. A group of friends and I came here to rent some equipment for a day trip. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. I rented a pair of performance ski boots for the day which were only $15, way cheaper than the Brain Head Resort rentals. My boyfriend did a performance snowboard package for around $40. I will definitely come here for all my rental needs. They also have a pretty big selection of gear, new and used. I highly recommend this place! read more

Extraordinarily friendly staff. Prices were a little cheaper than the mountains prices and you can literally ski in and out of the shop, if you need to make adjustments/changes. They were nice enough to let us switch from skis to snowboards without any changes in price when we were there. read more

This place is very affordable and the entire staff are very friendly and helpful. I rented snowboard equipment for my son and while taking a break from snowboarding, he placed the board on a rack. He turned around to check his phone for a few minutes, and when he turned around again, the board was gone! Someone mistakenly took it. The following day, my wife and I went back to Georg's to see if anyone returned the missing board. Nothing. The manager asked a staff member to go to the ski resort to see if someone turned it in there and then, he gave us a replacement board so that my son can continue snowboarding at no extra cost. There are cabins and condos above the ski shop, so we stayed with several other families for a few nights in February. We had a blast! We rented our skis and snowboard equipment from Georg's, and were able to buy all of the things we'd forgotten to bring. The guys who fitted us for our equipment were so nice and patient. We are from Georgia and had very little experience with snow, so we really appreciated all the help. We can't wait to go back next year! read more

If you're visiting Brian head this is where you need to rent your gear. The prices were great and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I took my girlfriend skiing for the first time and the staff was incredibly patient and friendly helping us get our gear set up. And when we had a problem with our lift passes and didn't get to use our gear one of the days, and the staff credited us the day we couldn't use them. This was wholly unnecessary for them but it meant the world to us. I cannot stress enough how incredible everyone on the staff was. read more
