We were in a bit of a rush, so after trying a few on, I accidentally left my purse hanging on one of the racks. We headed to the lake without realizing it. It wasn't until we were leaving that I noticed my purse was missing. The store was already closed, so all I could do was hope it was still there. Thankfully, nothing in my accounts had been compromised. We went back right when the store opened, and there were Sal and Peter, waiting for us to come claim it. My purse was completely untouched -- everything was still inside. I offered them a reward, but they refused. Sal and Peter, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your honesty, kindness, and integrity. In a world where we often hear about the bad, you reminded us that there are still genuinely good people out there. Big 5 is truly lucky to have you both. Thank you for restoring a little bit of our faith in humanity. Good people still exist. We just have to remember to recognize and appreciate them.

We also could not find any employees available on the sales floor to assist her. She went to the front to ask for help, and the employee responded rudely, saying they couldn't leave and would send someone to assist--but no one came. After waiting about 15 minutes, another employee walked by. When asked for help, they responded in a rude manner, saying they had too much to do, and only briefly pointed out where the item was instead of actually helping. Customer service like this is frustrating and unprofessional. If the item wasn't needed, we would have walked out. Definitely reconsidering shopping here again.

The trail was clean and we only saw other trail users. Not too much elevation gain or loss which helped our sea level lungs and legs acclimate to the altitude. The route took us along Veteran's Park which has a individual memorials for WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Iraq & Afghanistan. (See separate review) Farther up the trail we saw beautiful views of the red rock canyon. The only complaint was that the trail could've kept going farther up the canyon.

Being that my bike was less than $100, he decided not to spend that kind of money. He looked up other bicycle shops in the area. Bike Route showed up on the search list with no pictures or reviews. On a whim, he decided to go in and ask about a tune up. The owner, Mark, told my husband that he would tune up the bicycle and install thorn resistant tires to the bike. My husband decided that would be a good idea, so he asked how many days the bike would be in the shop, to which Mark said, "Oh it'll be done in an hour, you can pick it up then." This was a shock to us, considering other bicycle shops will keep your bike for a day or two, depending on the service needed. So my bike got a tune-up and the thorn resistant tires installed. All totaling out to $50.00 even. Mike was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be coming back, just off his helpfulness alone. His quality of service is a definite plus. I highly recommend Bike Route for anyone interested in having their bicycle taken care of.
