I would highly recommend this college for someone who is looking to go into a certain industry. The institution prepares them for work so that they can get a job right away

I'm not enrolled in this school, hence why I didn't leave a full one star, but I had to take an…read moreexam here as it was the only Pearson testing site that had a date range I needed and it was an AWFUL experience. Their testing site had NO parking, and neither did any other building nearby. I had to park opposite side of the school and that alone almost made me miss the exam. Then, for some reason, they wouldn't accept my drivers license as an ID...? Despite all other Pearson testing locations I've been to using my DL. Also wouldn't take my student ID from my college I attend. But they had no problem telling me that my credit/debit card counts as a valid ID. Which is all very suspicious to me. The computer they assigned to me didn't work; the PC cut off multiple inches off the right side of my test so that I couldn't answer some questions, so I had to be moved to another computer. Very frustrating experience and now the only place I will do Pearson testing is at Georgia Northwestern in Rome; their testing site has never gave me any issues and the instructor is always kind to me there.

Classes are hardly ever open, majority of the teachers have really bad ratings and you have no choice but to get stuck with them just so you can graduate on time. This school is growing too fast. There aren't enough teachers for the amount of students that go here .. I do not regret making my choice to go here, but I do regret living on campus worst decision ever.

I attended Kennesaw State's Open House with my son and husband and had a very disappointing…read moreinteraction with Geo Sipp, Director of Arts and Design. After the session, I asked what advice he would give a KSU student considering transferring to SCAD. Before I could even finish my question, he interrupted me with, "Why would you do that?" He then spoke dismissively about SCAD, including its transfer policies and cost, while acknowledging that he didn't know its current credit requirements. What bothered me most was that, rather than focusing on what would be best for the student and their education, the conversation seemed to become about defending KSU by diminishing another institution. There is absolutely nothing wrong with explaining the strengths of your own program, but students deserve thoughtful, objective guidance, not an attempt to make another school look inferior. I'm a SCAD student myself and transferred from a two-year college, with nearly 90% of my credits accepted. When I shared my firsthand experience, it was brushed aside. Academic leaders represent their institutions. This interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, and unfortunately left a very poor impression of KSU. My son watched it all and was shocked about the lack of professionalism. For that and other other reasons, he won't be attending KSU.

I thought about getting my real estate sales license for a while before I bit the bullet and…read morefinally did it. I was dragging my feet about it because I had contacted several other Georgia real estate schools about their programs and I wasn't impressed with the people I was speaking with. Surprisingly, a lot of programs that I contacted couldn't clearly explain to me which classes I needed to take and one of the schools kept changing their class schedule. So I held off on enrolling until I could do a bit more research on schools. I found AREA and their program information was clearly explained on their website. When I called them to ask follow up questions I got clear answers. Then I saw Yelp CM Kellie M.'s review for the school and that solidified my decision to enroll there. I'm glad I did. The class materials are very straightforward as are the lectures. Not a lot of flow charts, diagrams, or fluffy presentations. I'm a very direct person and like to absorb direct information, so the class was perfect for my learning style. I took the class in person and was also also given access to a lot of additional online test materials. I took my two pre-license classes at AREA, and I passed my state licensing exam on my first attempt. I found the state exam to be challenging. In hindsight I know I needed the in person class in order to pass because the immersive environment helped me. If you're needing a real estate school for a licensing requirement I highly recommend you consider AREA.
