I was dragging my feet about it because I had contacted several other Georgia real estate schools about their programs and I wasn't impressed with the people I was speaking with. Surprisingly, a lot of programs that I contacted couldn't clearly explain to me which classes I needed to take and one of the schools kept changing their class schedule. So I held off on enrolling until I could do a bit more research on schools. I found AREA and their program information was clearly explained on their website. When I called them to ask follow up questions I got clear answers. Then I saw Yelp CM Kellie M.'s review for the school and that solidified my decision to enroll there. I'm glad I did. The class materials are very straightforward as are the lectures. Not a lot of flow charts, diagrams, or fluffy presentations. I'm a very direct person and like to absorb direct information, so the class was perfect for my learning style. I took the class in person and was also also given access to a lot of additional online test materials. I took my two pre-license classes at AREA, and I passed my state licensing exam on my first attempt. I found the state exam to be challenging. In hindsight I know I needed the in person class in order to pass because the immersive environment helped me. If you're needing a real estate school for a licensing requirement I highly recommend you consider AREA.
