The apartments are older, so there are definitely more issues than a brand new building would have. I work in property management, so I am picky where it counts. Maintenance is extremely fast with responding to our service requests. The grounds are always clean and well kept up. Being so close to the ocean is definitely the best feature. We walk to the beach and ride bikes down the estuary trails with our kids. One downside is only having one parking space, but I have never not found street parking.

The maintenance situation is just as bad. Workers park in resident spaces and have zero accountability--I personally had my car door hit multiple times by a maintenance worker who said nothing until he was caught in the act. That says a lot about the level of respect here. The building itself is in terrible condition. It's old, poorly maintained, and there is mold in what feels like nearly every apartment. Instead of properly fixing the issue, they just paint over it. Because of this, my family members were constantly getting sick, which is unacceptable and honestly concerning from a health standpoint. To make things worse, basic repairs are ignored. Our front door knob literally fell off, and management refused to fix it, saying it wasn't an emergency. How is a broken FRONT DOOR not urgent? Overall, this place is unsafe, poorly managed, and not worth your time or money. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

He's very helpful and gets to know everyone (not in a nosy way). He'll lend a hand when he can and is very friendly. He also helps to keep down the noise and make sure everyone is playing nice. The apartments are up to date and newly painted/carpeted, etc. The complex is located about 1mi from the Beach and the Estuary and it is only a few blocks away from the Coronado Island bike trail. The rent is cheap ($800/1br) and is absolutely bug free! There are also large 2 bedroom apartments. Cats are allowed with a deposit (no monthly pet rent) and there's a seasonal pool and a year round grill. Basically, if I wasn't moving out of state, I'd probably live here a long while. Some people have lived here for over 20 years. There are Navy folk, young families, singles and I've never had a problem with my neighbors since I've moved here. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

It's the men with blue shirts that go on the golf carts that speak about drama that happens with their work environment instead of helping those in the community where we pay rent but rather more just see us as people who live here which we have to pay extra fees as water, garbage, etc and they make it seem like they don't want to do what they are suppose to do, because i have heard that as well. A big major problem is just that the washers don't work. We can have 10 washers n there's only 3 that work which are very small and don't know when it looks like they'll get fixed, so i've been going to the laundry mat instead since there's really none that work here sadly. I love the apartments, it's just the workers (some not all) should be nicer and have more decency instead of giving looks, and the washers being fixed. Little by little things are being replaced (washers and dryers in the laundry rooms for example), and improved upon (new landscaping, new paint). It is nice to come home here as it is a very pretty and well maintained apartment complex. Management provides a monthly newsletter with interesting as well as informative information. On certain days of the month morning coffee & donuts are offered to residents hurrying off to start their day. The staff seems to always have a smile and a friendly "hello" when you see them. The maintenance team is respectful and they seem intelligent and knowledgeable about how to maintain the apartments. Recently a new security team was hired because residents were complaining about the old one. I can't say I have any complaints. I am very happy here and hope to live here much longer.

Alba has been with us from the start, she's always on top of communication answering all of our questions and concerns. Pete and Ruben are the friendliest grounds keepers and always will help with anything. These apartments are very well maintained, professionally cleaned and sanitized before move in and move out. It's very modern and roomy. Should anything need immediate maintenance they have onsite maintenance there 24/7. That also means if someone trips an alarm or something by accident you won't hear it for hours. Its a very nice gated community with surveillance cameras everywhere and on site patrol at night. The heating and a/c are top notch as well as all the other appliances. We rarely ran into issues but if we did it was fixed super fast. The staff have special events every so often for children as well as free pizza or raffles to win things like full thanksgiving meals, etc. Parking is great theres plenty for cars needing charging stations or cover. The amazon package hub and mail are very secure, easy to use. We had two dogs and it was easy to get them to the designated dog pen. Its all kept very clean! There are so many amazing places nearby to eat and the bay is just up the street! If you're nervous to apply like we were because we had a lot going on at the time that sounded complicated to explain, just try! The staff are very understanding and will try to help you succeed. We are very thankful for the chance we had. There really isn't anything negative to report, we loved this apartment and they were always fair never asking for large increases in rent renewals. They also give plenty of advance notice for fire alarm testing, main hallway carpet cleaning, elevator maintenance, and any in unit quick inspections for yearly fire sprinkler upkeep that is just fast in and out look. There is also roaming security at night which is a bonus. The apartments are beautiful and it's really nice to be able to enjoy a pool, jacuzzi, gym, and clubhouse.
