I thought it was the opener and something getting out of sync but after some troubleshooting, it was something more serious. I had used Alliance Overhead Door in the past and they were the first call I made. The owner, Chris, took my call on a Sunday around 11am and asked me a few questions to diagnose the issue. It was likely an internal spring that had likely broken and needed replacement. I was afraid there would be an extra charge for a Sunday repair, but Chris so nope. So, I decided to move forward with getting the issue handled. Chris needed to address a current customer and then could be at my place around 1pm. As he was on his way, he texted me with an ETA, which was nice. Once at my place, he confirmed the issue and recommended at Torsion Spring Conversion. He confirmed the price, which was very reasonable, and he got right to work. Within an hour the old broken spring shaft was replaced with the new torsion spring rated for 25,000 cycles. Not only did he fix the issue, he also took the time to inspect the door and lubed the wheels and hinges before leaving. Now I am back in business with a working garage door. Whether you need a garage door repair or replacement, I would highly recommend Alliance Overhead Door. Chris Olari allianceoverheaddoor.com/ Call or Text : (512) 696-3891

WOW! All I can say. WOW!…read more I found this company online through Google and let them know I had an industrial door that was jammed. I am a business owner and because this door was jammed, part of my building was shut down and I was losing income. Shelby came out and I told him I just wanted to fix the door if possible because I didn't have budget for a new door. After looking at the door and figuring replacing it was the best option, we went over numbers. I was able to get a good deal because I went ahead and replaced a 2nd door (out of the four I have) at the same time because thinking proactively, I didnt want part of my building shut down unexpectedly. Shelby sent out a crew on a Saturday to knock these out and get my entire shop back up and running again. I was afraid when he came out that I was going to get a commissioned salesman and a charge for giving an estimate. -There was no pressure to buy -I didn't get a salesman, I got someone who is a problem solver (huge difference between the two) -He delivered on time -He installed on time -He even let me postdate a check for the small remainder (I dont know if he does this for everyone, but one small business helping out another small business is the best ever!) There was an issue with a contractor, and this is where the possible 5 star review turns into a solid 5 star for me. Long story short, we were missing a piece, Shelby took full responsibility, no studdering, no finger pointing, no making up excuses, was sincerely apologetic, and went above and beyond my expectations to fix it. (maybe my expectations are lower than most, or maybe his business motto is higher than most.....I think the second one.) Any business can be great and have good service, but how a business reacts when something goes wrong or unexpected is the true way to see what their business really stands for. I will be doing business with these guys again here very soon to replace my last two doors on my building. If you need garage doors, give these guys your money. Seriously, their service can not be beat!

I called on a Friday afternoon and was told that someone could come by Saturday morning for our free quote. Lynn showed up and went over our existing doors. One had been hit by the previous owner, so I knew it needed to be replaced. The other one I figured we'd replace so the doors wouldn't be mismatched. I was also having trouble with the door sensors. Lynn immediately determined the door that had been hit needed to be replaced, not repaired (as I suspected) and recommended replacing the second door (as I figured we should). After my wife selected the color for the door, he said they might be in stock and, if they were, he could install them the same day! 6 hours later, I had two new doors and new sensors for the one that wasn't working. Lynn and I did notice that one of the door panels had some delamination. He said he could be back on Monday to replace the bad panel. It took Lynn and his wife less than 15 minutes to replace the panel. Today (just under a month later), I was having trouble with the sensor, again, so I called back. I actually got the owner of the company and he said he could be there in about 30 minutes. After looking over the sensor, he determined it was a bad connection at the opener itself and he took care of the issue. No charge. The good: FAST FAST FAST Experienced technical and NO hard sell. I told him what I wanted and he brought it over and installed it. Bad panel was replaced within 48 hours with no argument. Issue with the sensor was corrected almost as soon as I called and mentioned it. The bad: I'll let you know if I ever get a "bad". Highly recommended if you need new doors.

Two days ago while attempting to close my garage door, a wheel popped off and nearly hit me in the face. The door wouldn't close after that. Despite my apprehension I figured I really ought to bring in a professional. I reached out to Advanced Garage Repair that evening and heard back first thing the next morning. Within two hours of our phone call, Chad was at my door and taking a look. It was a bit of a tricky issue (apparently the door had never been properly set up at all) but he had everything in order in basically half an hour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and the garage door tracks smoother than it ever has. His fee was entirely reasonable, and I appreciated his willingness to be up front with me about the cost range on our phone call. Chad is one of the good guys!
