TLDR: went here for whitening, root canal, and composite bonding. All 15/10 in terms of service, appearance and longevity (no issues after almost one year). I went here for several treatments after I busted one of my teeth. All other dentists were recommending that I get a crown, but I was very against it because of the specific tooth and the amount that was chipped/gone. Dr. Rashan immediately affirmed my thoughts without me saying it and recommended composite bonding. I had to have my root canal on the target tooth done due to the previous dentist doing a poor job. After we did a KOR treatment , followed by the composite bonding. After several visits, I could not be more happier with my smile. I've regained my confident thanks to a team that care about patient satisfaction AND tooth health. I could not recommend Dr. Rashan more highly after seeing three other dentists. Almost a year later as I write this review, I've not had any problems with sensitivity, pain, or endurance of the composite bond. You want a dentist to be excellent in three key areas: 1. technical expertise and abilities, 2. an eye for aesthetics and 3. kindness and a good bedside manner. Dr. Roshan has all three qualities! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Otherwise, you have a kind doctor who can't match your tooth color, a jerk doctor who properly fills your root canal, or a nice aesthetic that fails to hold up. I went to Dr. Roshan with two busted front teeth that needed shoddy dentistry rehabilitated, a root canal, whitening and new crowns. It was a lot of work and Dr. Roshan clearly knew what she was talking about every step of the way. I LOVE Dr Roshan and her staff. I have sensitive teeth and past scary & painful dental experiences that make me very nervous going to the dentist. I also have 5 tooth implants and some unusual tooth issues (short tooth roots, bite alignment issues). Dr Roshan has handled all of my dental needs with great skill. Liz and Dr Roshan are so kind and very gentle even with cleaning. I also appreciate that this dentist's office is not pushy with either selling products (i.e., whitening) or with what they think would help my teeth (i.e., correcting my weird bite). I had a filling done as well and Dr Roshan was fantastic. I didn't feel a thing and she was very kind and understanding, she took time to explain what she was doing and how things were looking to help me through it. This dentist is really special, however, because she has taken great care not only of me, her actual patient, but also has helped my husband and daughter when things came up unexpectedly! My then-one-year-old daughter chipped her baby tooth at daycare and I didn't find out until I picked her up that evening. I was distraught. I took a picture of her tooth (it didn't seem to be bothering her) and emailed it to Dr Roshan at around 7pm because I didn't know what else to do. Dr Roshan called me that evening and gave me great advice. When my husband had an attempted wisdom tooth extraction with a different dentist on a Saturday morning that did not go well, we tried to find any other dentist who could help but all were closed or unwilling to add a patient the same day. I again thought of Dr Roshan and thought maybe she could at least recommend someone to help us. Liz called us back (again, ON THE WEEKEND, this is unbelievable for a dentist's office) and got a sense of the situation and gave us some recommendations, including letting us know to call back if my husband's pain became worse and Dr Roshan could come in to the office to help him. We were able to wait until Monday to try to make an appointment with an oral surgeon, however when my husband called the surgeon his dentist referred him to the first available appointment was Friday! After a full weekend in pain! I immediately called Dr Roshan again and she recommended an oral surgeon who was able to see us the same afternoon and things went great. Finally, you can make appointments, ask questions, etc. by email and the office is very responsive! This makes things so much easier for me than having to make a phone call. My son had a bike accident and needed to see a dentist ASAP. Well, he called a few dentists and Georgetown Dentistry was the first to return the call, and well, that is how he became their patient. It was all good from that point on. My son is a grad student and I live overseas and I was very worried about his condition. He had a lot of trauma to his mouth and had broken his two front teeth! Georgetown Dentistry worked quickly, and expertly fixed him up as good as new. They responded immediately to a worried mother's concern and my son was also very comfortable in their care. 10 stars. The practice, staff, accommodation, ease of appointment, and Dr Roshan are 10 stars and more. The office is centrally located near the foggy bottom metro, and plenty of parking all around. The office itself looks and feel more like a spa than a dental practice. Beautiful decor, colors, music and plenty of natural sun for sun lovers. Appointments are easily available and staff is very accommodating. Dr. Roshan is a fantastic dentist with a keen eye to details. Her practice uses modern technology whether it's a simple cleaning to filling in a cavity to more complicated procedures. The office is spotless. You can read my longer review below, but here is my brief impression: I find Dr Roshan such a remarkable dentist that she is a reason for me remaining in the DC area. Honestly, I don't think I can find a better dentist elsewhere. I wish she were the dentist for all my family and friends! I have had a few dentist over the years but none nearly as good as Dr Roshan. During my first appointment in 2010, she did a thorough exam and presented a detailed, and surprisingly affordable, treatment plan. (She told me that my filling wasn't done well by my previous dentist - a dentist who I thought was excellent. Amazingly, she was right! The filling came out a few years later, and she replaced it. It is much better than before.) My oral health has never been better with her as my dentist. Here are a few things I appreciate about Dr Roshan: (1) She deeply cares about me as patient. She doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures, and only provides the treatment that you will need. I had many other dentists recommending doing this and that only to make more money. (2) She is extremely thorough and meticulous. Every procedure is completed to her high standards. When doing a simple cleaning, I get the impression that she wants every individual tooth to be perfectly cleaned. (3) She is passionate about dentistry. I have very rarely met someone who enjoys their profession as much as she does. (4) She relates to me personally. After being her patient for eight years, Dr Roshan and I have shared much about our personal lives. I am amazed she remembers minute details about my life between my six-months follow up. (5) Her office appears state-of-art, and whenever I am there, it is impeccably clean. It is the least intimidating dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Roshan is extremely thorough, methodical, and detail-oriented. She earned my trust immediately by listening very attentively to my needs and I was amazed at her level of attention to detail. She noticed issues with my teeth such as residual bonding from braces over 10 years ago that were overlooked for years. I had been unhappy with how one of my teeth looked darker in photos, and she was able to recognize and point out the reasons why, and give suggestions for conservative fixes. When I decided to proceed with veneers for two teeth, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. She carefully designed veneers which match perfectly in shade, size, and shape to what I wanted. Dr. Roshan is the best dentist ever. She and her newish practice are very professional, prompt, efficient, and friendly. The dentistry there is the best I ever have had. I used to see her when she was at Yusefi, and have followed her to her own practice. The office is almost like a spa! It is relaxing, as the staff tries to make you comfortable while you wait during your appointment. They offer you the office iPad while you wait in the exam chair! I recently had a comprehensive exam/cleaning, as well as 3 fillings put in. The exam was extremely thorough. Dr. Roshan explained her evaluation of my teeth in a way no dentist ever had. I have written only one negative review in my many years of using Yelp. I am a very loyal person and when I experienced the rude and extreme lack of customer service in Dr. Roshan's office, I felt motivated to write this negative review. In short, I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Roshan since she worked at her previous dental clinic where she always personally cleaned my teeth. I was so happy with the quality of her cleaning, that not only did I follow her to her new office, but I referred a number of others. I continued going to her new clinic until the other day, when I made an appointment with Dr. Roshan and called to let them know I was running 10 minutes behind. I was informed that I would not be seeing Dr. Roshan, but a hygienist. The front desk lady was extremely rude and said Dr. Roshan doesnt see patients anymore, except for at the end of the check-up. I wasnt aware of this when I made the appointment and only was told last minute of this new policy. Since I pay for my cleaning out of my own pocket and because I left the old clinic for Dr. Roshan's new clinic, one would think she would continue to see her loyal patients who followed her. I guess I was wrong. I asked to please reschedule the appointment for another day and asked the receptionist if she could ask Dr. Roshan to consider seeing me for the cleaning, as I really prefer her vice a less experienced person. I never received a call back. I was shocked at this. While healthcare in DC has gone down hill, I didnt think Dr. Roshan would change her care for patients - it appears she now values quantity over quality - such as in a factory... read more

I didn't go to the dentist for 2 years (not that long). At my appointment I was told that my mouth was "too damaged" even for a simple cleaning and that I would have to come back since the appointment didn't have enough time. What?? Then she told me that to fill my cavities and to get my "mouth into shape" would cost something like $5000+. Let me say that my teeth are not that bad!! - not crooked, rotted, etc. I also never needed braces. I found another dentist who filled all my cavities and "got my mouth into shape" for about $500. I discovered Dr. Roshan and her team because I had a toothache emergency. Apparently, some of the best things in the world are discovered unscheduled. I called in the morning. They took me in right away early afternoon. From the modern, clean facility to the friendly staff my first impression was one I needed desperately since, like many, I hate going to dentist and was very nervous to begin with. Dr. Roshan was wonderful, patient and knowledgable. While the news was bad as my tooth had to be extracted the entire experience was painless not because of the novocaine shots but because of the extremely comfortable environment I was in.
