When we moved to Georgetown, I spent a lot of time reading reviews and even visiting dental offices before deciding which one I thought would make my dental visits less dreaded. My husband had already chosen a dental practice he thought would be good so I agreed to get my teeth cleaned there. The practice he chose had not been at the very top of my list but had been acceptable. Just my interaction with the hygienist assigned to me on my first visit was enough for me to know this was not the practice for me When I explained about my previous painful experiences and my apprehension about even having my teeth cleaned, her response was, "Well, this IS a dental practice. EVERYthing is going to be uncomfortable." I decided not to proceed with the appointment and left. I went back to the research I had done. RR Dentistry had lots of very good reviews and their web site emphasized "patient comfort" so that was where I chose to make an appointment. It was the right decision. I could not be happier with my choice. Every member of their staff from the New Patient Coordinator (Susie) to the dentist (Dr. Cory Roach) to his assistant (Lisa) was both friendly and competent . Everyone put me at ease. Dr. Roach was thorough and gentle as he performed an extensive examination of my teeth and mouth. His assistant (Lisa) was also very kind and compassionate. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth (Pam) did so with zero pain. I feel much better about future appointments now that I have found a dental practice whose staff truly is concerned with patient comfort as well as excellent dental care.

I initially went in because of some pain I was having on a lower back tooth. I was told I needed 2 back crowns. I ended up paying $5000.00 for the crowns and a root canal on a front tooth. The crowns both broke within a month. They make their own crowns in house , so I asked them to please have them made out in a facility. It took quite a while to get them back, but after the new crowns were in they never felt like they fit right. I had pain and discomfort when chewing, I went back and forth for a year, for them to try to get them to fit right. Being so frustrated with this process I finally went to another dentist to see what could be done. When they cleaned my teeth one of the crowns fell off again, and that is when they noticed that this tooth was actually to small for a crown and needed to be pulled. So long story short I paid all this money and time for something that was done incorrectly by the staff at Aesthetic Dentistry of Georgetown. I would never go here again or recommend them: they take your money and leave you hurting, they just do not care.

Extremely Disappointed -- Avoid This Dentist…read more Dr. Dustin Adamek performed a crown restoration on tooth #19, which led to a crack inside the tooth, infection, and the need for a full implant. I had to have the crown he put in extracted, and now I need an implant. During the numbing injections, he talked to and looked at his assistant instead of focusing on the procedure, and he seemed distracted throughout. He also complained about my previous crown work in front of me to his assistant, which was unprofessional and inappropriate. When complications arose shortly after, Dr. Adamek would not speak to me directly or take any responsibility for a failed crown -- all within three months of the procedure. I've never had a tooth infection in 58 years -- until now. The office staff was kind and professional, but the care I received caused lasting harm. I do not recommend this dentist. My old dentist of 4 years, started having issues with my Dental insurance ("Boo" Delta Dental) so we had to find another dentist real quick. Then we remembered that a new dental office was just built about a mile away. We check out the doctors, their educational backgrounds and the client reviews. We were happy with the information we received about Dr. Renken and his dental team. Upon my initial appointment inquiry, I was sent a link to gather extensive information regarding my medical history. I can respect this as your doctor doesn't know anything about you unless you tell them. My Hygienist was very friendly, she gave me a lot of pointers regarding dental maintenance and cleaning tips around my retainer. Dr. Josh Rankin examined me. Very attentive and personal. They asked a lot of questions about me. Which I thought was very important. Like I said, they only know what you tell them. Overall it was a wonderful experience, considering it was a dental office. I now am…read more I wanted to interview the dentist to go over my limitations and concerns so I booked a consult appointment expecting to pay for their time. I was not charged. My issues are with not being able to lay as flat as many providers want and limitations to time in the chair due to back issues as well as some types of procedures which have not been successful. I discussed all of these and we came to an agreement as to how to proceed. At my first appointment for x-rays and examination my requirements were met with the exception of the first hygienist who proceeded to lecture me. I asked for another hygienist for the cleaning and that request was honored. She used high pressure water to clean my teeth and for the first time I had no pain! Next came the removal of a crown because of decay below it and the building of a new one. Care was taken of my seating and time restraints and the work was divided into two sessions at no additional costs. Their equipment and techniques are all very modern and simplify many old procedures. The crown fit perfectly on first fitting. Overall, all the staff (with the exception of one) are courteous, well trained, communicate well with each other and with me as the procedures progressed. Every attempt was to keep me as comfortable as possible and to keep me informed as to what they were doing in my mouth. Overall a very positive experience.

First the office is bright, spotless, and I was greeted by the friendly staff. I was seen by Dr. Jonathan Dizon. He found that I had a cracked molar and 2 fillings that need redone. This is why I was experiencing cold sensitivity. How Smile Haus missed that is beyond me and actually concerning. Our teeth are too important to miss something like that. Dr. Jonathan Dizon was extremely thorough with my examination. He spent time going over each tooth he had concerns about. He went into detail about why and how to fix each issue. I also have struggled with TMJ for about 8 years. He showed me each joint and how it plays a role into pain. Dr. Dizon gave me solutions and hope of a plan to treat my TMJ. The office is upfront with all the charges and costs before doing anything. I felt a huge relief and at ease when I left the office trusting that I finally found a great dentist who will care for my teeth at Renken Dentistry. I could not recommend this office enough! Nothing was done. Only to get told that one would have to pay $3k or more for dentures. This is "with insurance ". $17k for upper and lower implants. Mom heard more about a rep wanting lunch than actual issue and billing. Loose teeth equals emergency sitch as per the website. Again, nothing was done to ease her pain and discomfort.
