I've used this body shop to repair my car three times over the past 6-7 years, and every experience has been outstanding. The quality of work is excellent, and the team is always professional and reliable. Highly recommend! read more

Today I went to inquire about the front dent I drove into my car and I stopped at Georgie's Body Shop on 130 E 3rd Ave. I was very lucky to bump into Jeremy, the owner Jamie's son. This very talented young man was truly helpful and gave me honest and quality information that I needed. He also gave me great advice to deal with it till I'm coming in for the final job on my car. He even cleaned up the fender for me to take off the stress for me! You can tell he loves what he does and he is good a t it. I highly recommend this shop! Jeremy is a great asset to his father's shop. Thank you, Jeremy read more

Beyond the fantastic work (I just had $6500 worth of work on my BMW), I highly recommend this business because the owner is honest and dedicated to great work. I actually brought in my Infiniti G37s a year ago because I wanted some spot work done before I sold it. He said no. He would only do things the right way, the way it should be done. I've had long conversations with him and really respect him. He's earned a lifelong customer. read more

James is fantastic. I had a couple of panels scraped and dented from a sideswipe that nobody owned up to. After some delays with ICBC, James got the job done, the car looks great. It was done exactly on time as he estimated. I hope I won't need auto body work done again too soon, but I will definitely be back if I do. George's will be my first choice for this type of service, for sure. Highly recommended. read more

Who the heck is George?? But I met a very cool owner called James that was totally helpful and strait forward... He gave me a price to fix my car and lived up to it.. it looks great and just like new.. I will be back for sure and recommend this shop to my friends.. Located used off the corner of 2nd ave & Crowe street close to ICBC centre. read more

went here today to get an estimate for some body work I need. Although their estimate was a little higher than some of the other places I went to, the service was great. James is great to talk to and gave me some really good advice on how I could go about getting my car in good shape again. He also told me a cheap $20 fix for it - which I appreciated :) Didn't get any work done here so I can't comment on that, but they seemed to have lots of thank you cards up on their walls, which makes it seem like they do a good job. But for service and estimates alone, this place is 4 stars !!! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I just had my rear bumper replaced by George's Body Shop. From the beginning to the end, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and integrity. I cannot recommend this place enough. The shop itself is immaculate, the quote was honest and fair, communication was easy, and they did a perfect job on my bumper from the paint to installation. THANK YOU, James (owner), for making this whole process so painless and stress-free. read more

James was helpful and insightful in helping me address the problems with my car. I really appreciated that he took care of the issues promptly with no further charge and even lent me a courtesy car. James is very professional and highly recommended. read more

I showed up at George's and chatted with James, who seems to be the proprietor. Where is George? I don't know and I don't care, cause James is awesome. I brought in an ICBC claim...the problem is, the claim is over two years old, so I couldn't use it. When James realized that, he commiserated with me. I figured I'd get the work done anyway, so we started talking price, which I was really hesitant about - I mean, body work can be very expensive. But get this, when I told him price was an issue he helpfully suggested ANOTHER shop down the street fora lower per-hour rate, if I wanted to go down that road! How often does a business send you to their competitor? I recalled what another yelp reviewer had said: that there are cheaper places, but George's does a superb job. From there, I asked him to come out to the street and take a look anyway at my car anyway. He basically showed me how I could fix the problem myself with 20 bucks worth of parts from Canadian tire - it won't look pristine, but 80% better than it does now. Then, I asked him about some tiny rust spots on my car that had been worrying me, and he showed me how to clean them up and do preventative maintenance on them. All for free, cause he seemed to genuinely care. This may be the only 5-star review I write for a product I didn't use - I'm currently in the process of fixing it myself, and saving a load of cash while learning something about body work. Thanks James! read more

Brought in my wife's 2010 BMW, after women tried pulling into a parking spot rather then parallel parking (dooouuuhhh). After a quick estimate, he emailed it to the offending party and emailed me a copy also. It was very efficient and fast. I initially had some concerns about getting my wife's bimmer's color right, but after seeing the results I have to say it was perfect!! He even had the car detailed for me (small fee). James is the owner and he is very passionate about his business and takes pride in it, you can clearly see that. He even drove me home and picked me up as I am just across the bridge (he will probably kill me now that everyone will ask him to do the same..lol), don't worry he had a courtesy car ready which I really didn't need for a few days anyways, but it was a nice option... All in all it was a 5 Star experience all around!! Thank you James. read more

The best experience one can ever have! Friendly, professional, human-centered. My car was clipped by a truck from Alberta, and the driver was very kind in leaving me his info on the car. When I called him, he already called his company and their insurance company, and we sorted everything directly without involving ICBC. James from George's Body Shop took care of everything - booking me, sending all the estimates to the Alberta insurance company, booking me a courtesy car, and dealing with everything that needed to be done. Just got my car back. Shining, with brand new original parts. On top of it, I had some faded colour spots on the hood, from trying to remove tree sap myself (bad idea). Well, James cleaned those too, just like that, and so everything is absolutely spotless. Deep gratitude for you for your work and the way you treat your customers. read more

I always bring my car here for any body shop needs or when I've got an ICBC claim. Plus ICBC centre is just across the street. The owner, James, is really friendly is always on the ball. I've been at other body shops and I've had to go BACK because they do a bad job, and when you own a leased vehicle the car company makes you pay for it on return. What a pain, plus its a waste of time. James' work is the best you'll get, A+ service here. read more

James is the man! (Don't let the name George fool you when you come in the door) I've used his services once for a broken window after a break-in and another time when my father's car was hit. Both times, he did great work with utmost professionalism. He finished the job sooner than expected and went the extra mile to keep us happy and the costs low. Very highly recommended. read more

Best experience at a body shop. Ever. Great service. Awesome job and on time. And the price was absolutely the best quote I could find, and I checked 5 local shops. Thank you James. Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope I never see you again. At least at your shop. read more

I've had a great experience at George's! James came recommended from a mechanic and also a friend--I can see why. My husband is a ICBC defense lawyer who can guage how much repairs will cost, and James' quote matched his estimate, which means his rates are reasonable. But, on top of good, reasonable service, James is kind, generous and helpful!! Because he had to order parts to repair my car, he McGyvered repairs on the spot that would enable me to carry on with my life in the weeks we waited for the parts--all for free! He'd only provided a quote and had no assurance I'd be back for the repairs. When I first rolled up, my mirror was falling off and my side was so dented the tire was rubbing against the body--I left with a mirror fully functioning (screwed to a metal bracket) and he banged the body out close to its normal shape so the tire and doors would move smoothly. I will recommend him to all my friends, and to you! read more

Yelped a few different body shops after I was hit. Decided to go with James as everytbing I read was good and he was also super polite and helpful over the phone. I had to wait a few weeks to get in but was definitely worth the wait. It's no wonder he is fully booked! James even went above and beyond and fixed some marks on my bumper very happy with the service would def recommend this body shop to anyone who is looking for quality work done! read more

Absolutely amazing service and work. I cannot recommend them more. I have been to several garages and auto body shops. They went above and beyond. The repair was done in such a quick time and the results were amazing. James is amazing and all the staff are kind and professional. I will exclusively go there if I ever have to hands down the best place, trustworthy and professional. read more

My dad's Camry was hit on drivers passenger rear wheel well and door. ICBC said the job had to be started within 7 days as my mother had passed away and the ownership change to my dad. George aka James was fantastic got the claim started, had ICBC provide an excellent loaner vehicle from the nearby Enterprise car rental. Fast and efficient. More importantly, kind and thoughtful, my Dad, 90 plus now recently gave up driving a year ago, but not after accumulating a few scrapes and dings. Well James polished, touched and buffed out some of the scratches so they wouldn't rust. Awwww James.... you have a client for life and I will always recommend your shop to my friends family and colleagues. read more

This was my first experience with an auto body shop, even though I have been driving since 1957. I found his shop online and was very impressed by all the excellent reviews that I read. I had to wait several weeks to get the car fixed as he was very heavily booked. It was all worthwhile the work on my car is superb, as good as new. I was very happy with the service and particularly James' friendly, professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Great customer service! I met James who is very nice and helpful. He explained everything I needed to know and answered all my questions. They did a good job and made sure my car and I were taken care of. I highly recommend going here for any car repair. read more

We took our car there after an accident for repairs. James was very helpful and explained everything from start to finish. He made sure to keep us up to date with the progress of the car and we got it back much sooner than expected. The work was top notch and walked us through everything that was done. We wouldn't hesitate to go back there to get work done. You will not be disappointed! read more

I had brought in a bumper from a Honda Element. I explained to James how picky I was. James brought in the paint rep to match the paint color. The paint was laid down and unfortunately there was a white spot that could not be sanded out. James re-sprayed it and it turned out very nice. There are a few dull spots which can be a buffed up once the paint has cured. As I'm so picky I have a hard time finding a painter that will match the work that I want done. They give you the razzle-dazzle and tell you that they can do what you want, and when it doesn't turn out they give you some BS why it didn't work that way. James is a straight shooter and very nice person to deal with. I have another paint project that I will definitely get James to do. Would I recommend James for paint hundred percent yes. Thanks again James read more

I had the best experience here. James was able to squeeze my car in on short notice so it could be fixed while I was away. He covered my taxi fares as I didn't have a courtesy car when I returned, and did extra touch ups on my car (not part of my icbc claim.) Friendly, accommodating and very good quality work. I'd recommend Georges to anyone! read more

Very pleased and very impressed! This is a recommended ICBC shop; so needless to say I was a bit leery. After doing some research I decided on this shop. My first impression was stellar as I called and spoke to James who was friendly, professional and put me at-ease with the whole process. He took his time explaining how ICBC deals with claims along with my many tedious questions; James was very patient and answered all questions in detail and with kindness. My front right bumper was damaged along with my hood. This portion was part of the ICBC claim, but I also asked him about very old damage on the rear bumper and tail-gate. James was able to quickly give me an estimate which I was very pleased with. I instructed James to just fix the rear-bumper and not deal with the tail-gate. When I came to pick-up the car I thought I was looking at a new vehicle. Not only was the front perfect, but he polished our yellow plastic headlights! I thought he installed new ones! James also fixed the bumper, but he took the "kink" out of the tail-gate and touched it up! Now of course if he actually "fixed" it he would have removed the tail-gate and painted the whole gate then would have removed the "dent" or "kink", but he did an amazing quick-fix and didn't charge me for it!! It looked great! Thank you James! I would certainly recommend this place. read more

I took my car in to George's Body Shop recently and I must say that the service I got was remarkable. I looked for reviews on Yelp on what body shop I should take my vehicle to. I wanted the best job done possible within a reasonable time frame. My front left side fender and the whole front bumper got damaged in a hit and run. James, the owner is extremely patient and a soft talker and a pleasure to talk to. He used to work for the body shop back in the day and gained his experience before George retired. He knows that any automobile incident or accident can be stressful to someone and as such, he made the process extremely easy and understandable. The down time was about a week and in the meantime he lent one of his courtesy cars for me to use. When I got back my original car, it looked like it rolled off the dealership lot, nice and shiny and he cleaned the interior of the car! I highly recommend his shop! His staff are professional and courteous and I am pretty darn sure you won't be disappointed. read more

This body shop is a gem. My Jeep Wrangler Unlimited had suffered a nasty little dent in the front passenger door which had also popped the entire key mechanism and chewed up the door handle. I wanted my vehicle back to near Concours D'Elegance standard without spending a fortune which would only have been possible had I also opted for the paint job which I did not as that would have been an extra $600 or so. They did an utterly brilliant job and for less than the price of paint work. Look no further. They've been around since the 1970s and I can see why. Word of mouth recommendations and it's a big YELP from me! read more

We brought in our new Sentra for hood, roof , fender and bumper repairs . Based on excellent reviews here on yelp we took a chance on James. I highly recommend James and his staff and appreciate all they've done to make this process a truly positive one . read more

I was referred to James by a really good friend of mine. I had an ICBC claim and James went through the procedure with me and rented a car for me. My car was fixed on the day James said that it was and also when I was leaving James did last minute adjustment to my car to make sure it was safe and up to code. Amazing service and super easy to deal with! read more
