I would never recommend Jeff Covelli at Covelli transmission to anyone. My vehicle still isn't fixed after almost 16 months and more than 4 trips to the garage, next step is attorney and getting my money back. I hope you read this Jeff.

First of all, if your transmission goes bad and you aren't expecting to spend at least a few thousand dollars you don't understand transmissions. Covelli rebuilt my Silverado transmission from scratch. It runs like new now and it only cost my about $3,500 which is very reasonable for a re-build. About a year later they did like 2 weeks of diagnostic work trying to figure out what was going on with my truck (turned out to be a bad ignition coil) and when I went in to pick it up they only charged me for the part and replacement labor - not all the diagnostic work. Meanwhile, at a dealership service center you will pay $300 for them just to pull your car into their garage. Covelli has been trustworthy and very competent. They might be a little slower than big production style shops but if you know machinery and vehicles you know that its better to be a little slow and have it done right than the other way around. I'm a blue collar business owner and farmer and I think this is one of the best mechanics around. For what that's worth.
