George the Plumber (which is actually owned by Mike) does excellent work. They have come to my house to install new hot water heater, clear clogged drains and to install bathroom faucet fixtures. John is the plumber who came to my house. When he was here, he paid exceptional detail to installing the new hot water heater - custom fitting new copper pipes above the hot water heater. Also When he installed the bathroom faucets, he made sure everything was centered. He also explained that the the bathroom sink's countertop had a little bit of a stain under the originalfaucet, which could not be covered over by the new faucet, since the new faucet diameter was smaller than the original faucet.. I appreciated that he pointed that out. They completed the work several months back and my plumbing has been doing great ever since. In my opinion, they are a little pricey but they do excellent work and are super duper knowledgeable, experienced and detail oriented! read more

One of the copper pipes in our kitchen sprung a leak, flooding the basement. We contacted George the Plumber, and they were able to send Mike out to replace part of the pipe that was spraying water. When it turned out that there was a second pinhole further up the pipe, they came back the next day and were able to replace that section too. The work is of a very high quality, and the price was very reasonable. And peace of mind knowing that the pipe is not going to flood the basement again is priceless! Throughout the process, Sophia provided great communication and was very responsive. I'd definitely use them again for our next project (which will hopefully be something planned, not an emergency!). read more

WARNING!!! Mike Xeron is underhanded and vindictive!! DO NOT allow hin or anyone from George the Plumber into your house!! A plumber came to my house to look at my sink. He made a minor adjustment (turned a knob to open a valve that was partially closed) and fixed the issue - WITHOUT GIVING ME A QUOTE. Xeron then charged me $150 for the visit. I was surprised and complained, and he lowered the price to $105 - but then RETALIATED by reporting me to the county as having an illegal apartment! (It was not illegal - it was legally licensed as an AirBnB). I know he did this because his name is on the 311 service request. Yes, this plumber came into my house and then reported me falsely to the County authorities! I don't know about you, but it creeps me out to think that someone I am paying to do me a service is spying on me. It is such a violation of privacy! I cannot believe how nasty and vindictive this is. I will NEVER use this service and warn everyone to STAY AWAY! read more

A wonderful plumber! We had a clog in or near our stack, which, together with a leaky bathtub drain, caused water to cascade down into our foyer. What a disaster! After one plumber stopped responding to our calls, and another worsened the damage by indiscriminately flushing toilets and running the shower against our wishes, we called George the Plumber. They were very responsive and friendly. Marvin, who came out to our house, was excellent. He was very pleasant, listened to our explanation, carefully explained the work he would have to perform as well as the cost, worked efficiently to solve the problem, and cleaned up thoroughly after he finished.
