Their price was beyond what we could afford, so I started shopping around. W.E.Brown roofing had good reviews, so we called them about the stand-alone structure. Their price was in our budget, and we really liked the knowledge and experience of the fellow who came out to spec the job, Ron Bush. They were able to get us on the schedule fast, and the team that came out to replace the roof did a great job. It looks beautiful, and the technology behind the new shingles is impressive. A couple sheets of plywood needed to be replaced, and they needed to brace one of the rafters to hold the plywood securely. They explained everything they were doing and why it needed to be done. I was worried the price would shoot up, but it ended up being entirely reasonable, and now that structure's roof is going to last for years. I'm really happy with them, and we're going to go with Brown when it comes time to replace our main roof. It was a really good experience. I don't think anyone really *wants* to get this kind of work done, but when you need it, you need it, and they made it not only painless, but pleasant.

Legacy is known to dispatch inexperienced install crews and lacks accountability for poorly…read moreexecuted jobs. I found out the hard way after they completely botched my gutters in ways I could not discern until years later when another gutter company had to replace the whole thing with the correct pitch, correct gutter guards, and correct amount of downspouts. Legacy themselves lied to me about the maintenance recommendation of their gutter guards while installing them, claiming it was a hands off solution - "everything blows off, there's no maintenance." The combination of factors resulted in poor water flow (eventually a full blockage within a few years), exacerbated ice dams, and damage to my home. Legacy absolved themselves of any responsibility because they were a subcontractor on the job. I have yet to speak to the owner after repeated requests. They are blaming the roofing company (and me) for it all. Just so you know the kind of characters you're dealing with here. To be clear, as a sub-contractor on a job to install gutters, Legacy still has a standard to meet regardless whose designs are being executed. The expectation is that they install gutters with the proper slope, advise which gutter guards fit the environment, install gutter guards in the correct orientation (so they don't drip water back onto the house), and inform customers of any maintenance requirements accurately. Both the end customer and the roofing company rely on Legacy's "expertise" and trust that they would do good work. A typical homeowner cannot quality check gutter work, and Legacy has evidently taken advantage of this trust. I have never seen a business behave in such a disgusting way and I highly encourage anyone looking for gutter work to find literally anyone else for the job.

We have been using these guys to clean our carpets in our home for 4 years and up until recently…read morewere pretty happy with them. Last 2 times we've gotten pretty substandard service. We put up with it once but not twice: * Carpet was left filthy. Dog hair and grime left on the carpet. Lots of it. * We pay the minimum "3 room" rate ($125). Normally they make up for this by also cleaning our couch and easy chair - usually takes the guy 5 extra minutes. * Cleaning guy refused to do the couch, even though he was in and ready to leave after cleaning the one room in 15 minutes. He said, "I have other places to clean and I'm running behind" * When we showed him the dirt we were able to scoop off the carpet, he said "if you're not happy, just take it up with my manager about making it right" and took off. * We called the manager, mentioned the still-dirty carpet and the couch not getting done. He said, if you want the carpet cleaned again it's $125. * We said, we just had it cleaned today, and it's not clean. Will you make it right? He answered, if you're not happy with us, call another cleaner, and hung up. I guess, sadly, avoid these guys, they have lost their integrity.
