Never in my life have I experienced such disrespect and immaturity from a medical "professional."…read more I was given 2 different "quotes" for work to be done, the 2nd being higher cost due to newly added procedures in overall 5/6 stage project. When I spoke with the financial admin and let them know that I would be looking elsewhere for service because of it (more-so because of the lack of communication on the change in general), she had let me know that even with the change, Dr Nicoara would honor the first quote. Now even from the start, Nicoara isn't the best "people person" as her personality was very dry/stagnant, but I went along with it anyway because I'm ignorant to where I could get assistance for the procedure I needed. So I go back in for my 3rd visit now, and this time they ask for payment where I was told it would be honored previously. When I bring this up, Nicoara told me that it wasn't true and the billing admin should have never made those claims. Obviously, this shows they need some more administrative training if that is the case because that's a giant miscommunication. Here is where s**t hit the fan though. When talking about this, I had let her know that I didn't appreciate her tone with me, as it was very "on-edge / defensive" in nature. And here I am, a confused, out of my element CUSTOMER just trying to figure out what's going on. She clearly did not like that comment, as she started to get very loud and started talking randomly about cancer patients trying to prove a point on something irrelevant. At this point I stated that I didn't feel comfortable any longer being treated there. My reply? Nicoara: "THAT'S FINE, OUT OUT OUT OUT OUT, GET OUT OF HERE!!!" Straight up yelling at me to get out. Never, ever, should anyone have to deal with this level of disrespect, especially when in the vulnerable position of trying to find capable tooth care. I was a confused customer just trying to understand the system in place. And instead of proper customer support, empathy, and engagement, I was given the most immature pile of garbage possible. I informed my dentist office who referred me here. They kindly gave me a new recommendation elsewhere. I recommend anyone else stay away from this cesspool. I went in today and got some fillings done the other receptionist Tammy said I had to pay, I explained to her before they said I wouldn't have to pay, which I didn't have a problem with paying. Tammy didn't believe me or want to hear anything I had to say. When I tried to explain she would cut me off and talk over me. She just wanted me to pay and that's all she cared about. Not to mention I could can barely talk to numbness in my mouth. I was getting very irritated and told her I had the paperwork in my car. So finally I got the paper from my car and showed her it was signed paper stating I owe $0. After that she stopped being rude, and let me talk. She then stated the other receptionist made a mistake. Apparently the mistake they made was my fault for not understanding the mistake made by the receptionist. Seemed like we were going in circles and she just wanted me to accept the issue and pay. So I decided to pay and walked out. Not a good experience.

The Doctor, and her Assistant, Shauna were efficient and very thorough. (Shauna was so nice, too !) During the procedure they provided me with details on where in the process we were. There was no pain during the procedure. The pain after surgery was just for about one day. It is now over a year later, and I am most pleased with the surgery; the implanted post; and the top tooth. I had a second implant recently. For this tooth I chose to be sedated during the process. The implant went smoothly, and the results are great ! In a few months I will have a follow-up exam with the Doctor, and the schedule the top tooth. I don't remember much from the surgery, but observe that I have a great implant now !
